Passat (B7) :: Rattling From Rear Shelf On The Driver Side

Just a few days ago I noticed a new rattling sound from the rear shelf (2012 SEL). Showed it to the dealership a few days. They are going to have a look at it next week.
I tried pressing at various placed with my hand but could not pinpoint where it was coming from but it appeared to be somewhere from within the rear shelf on the driver side. Sounding like some loose plastic clanking against some metal.
Thought I'd share this since the car appears to have this recurring issue of rattling from various places.

Something inside my driver's side rear door is loose and keeps rattling every time the base hits. I tried to take the panel out but I broke one of the Clips. Any diagram or a DIY on how to access inside and figure out what the problem is?

on my 08' I had the rattle that seems to be just right behind the left ear while driving and the passengers side of the car as well. It was driving me completely nuts. Well after trying to locate it, I was driving and leaned my head into the back seat area. The sound is from the rear parcel shelf and just seems to be reflecting up to the front of the car, which may be confusing people to think its up front.
Anyway, I simply folded down the rear passenger seat and took a section of bicycle inner tube about 10 inches long and rolled into a roll, I then stuck it in one the metal parcel frame holes located in the trunk, push it all the way back until it rests against the rear sunshade housing. My car is completely rattle free now.

So, I have heard a little bit about the oil pump bolt issue. However, I am still confused. Was this issue fixed for the 2008 model and what are the symptoms? I changed out my valve cover last night due to a PCV valve failure. The car is running great except there is a slight rattling sound coming from the drivers side of the engine at idle. I know I left nothing around the car that could have gotten in the motor when the valve cover was off. This issue was not happening before changing the valve cover. What could be causing this noise, or is it typical for this motor?

1 week ago I changed low beam bulbs(one was out).
1 week ago $2 tire pressure gauge fell through the slots on the left side of the trunk inside, I have tried to reach it, but to no avail(touched wires, which goes to the rear/stops driver's side several times).
Today I noticed one of my side markers was not working, I turned on lights, tried to change bulb in it and as of now neither marker nor left front light(that small upper bulb in bigger bulb slot) nor rear lights work.
Low and high beam are ok on both sides.

Just dropped the car off at the dealership with the driver's side rear window stuck down. My local dealer here was pretty good, had the car inside (is expected to rain today) and put me in a rental.
In addition, they are going to investigate my touchscreen, as I've been having some red/white flickering issues when it is?

Driver side rear seat speakers are not working. Are they on a fuse? Haven't had time to look over the owner's manual. If not fused what else could be happening?

I've been noticing a tapping sound coming from the rear driver's side of the car recently, and it's only when idling after the car has warmed up. Someone has said that it may be the Leak Detection Pump located above the wheel well in the rear driver's side of the car. My question is does the tapping sound mean that it's going bad?

Just bought a 2002 VW Passat and the rear drivers side speaker doesn't work. How to remove the door panel? I have been searching for about a week and still have only found how to remove the front drivers side panel, which is completely different from the rear panel.

1998 passat. the drivers side rear door functions don't work; the power window does not work and the power door lock does not operate in the door. the other 3 doors work fine- power windows and locks. I do not have the bentley for this car so I am working at a disadvantage; where does the power for the door come from? any kind of control box? relay? fuse?

I've been living with a rattle in the rear shelf since ~6k miles. When I took the car in for an early 15k service, I told them about it. It rattles whether the radio is on or not, so it's not speaker vibration. The tech heard the rattle, but did NOTHING to try to fix it. I was told by the service writer that since I was past 12k miles, it may or may not be a warrantied repair! He said that if the part is broken, it would be covered, but if it simply needed an adjustment it would NOT be covered. How do you adjust a rear package shelf???
I called Hyundai and was told the same thing. The girl at Hyundai said they go by what the dealership says. It was almost like she was saying "wink, wink - have the tech say the piece was broken and we'll pay for it." I'm supposed to authorize them to tear the car apart not knowing what reason they'll give for the rattle. It's an intermittent rattle, so I've been tolerating it.

I have intermittent power problems with the drivers side rear door. The lock, window and even the light under the door stop working. I know that it is a connection problem but wanted locating where connectors are. If I jiggle the wires going through the door it seems to sometimes connect and work. It seems that the connection problem is not in the door itself but somewhere in the car. Is there any connectors in the pillar or somewhere else and what is the best way to get it apart to work on the connections.

My 2000 Passat's interior is flooding, however it is only in the read driver side floor and it is coming from the vent that is down there... I looked under the battery and vacuumed and cleaned it out... I can't seem to remove the black box on the right side under the hood next to the battery, it holds the ECU I believe. nor can I figure out where the flooding is coming from.

I had the Steering Column Module and the CCM done at the dealer last week. That being said would that have anything to do with the fact that I can't arm my antil theft system? All the door lock except for the rear drivers side door. When I hit the lock button on the remote I don't get any sort of audible signal. The horn doesn't beep and the lights don't flash. When i use the remote to unlock the doors, the lights do flash to signal that the doors are unlocked.

I'm talking about the little nylon ropes that lift up the parcel shelf when you open the hatch. On my 2010 the car came off the lot (zero miles) with both retainers broken. Theyve broken again since then and were replaced; I talked to the dealer and there's no preventative fix, just replace them every time they break. Any thoughts? I tried to search this but I think I'm calling the parcel shelf/deck thingy the wrong name...

My 2014 Azera has a rattling on the driver's side. I'm pretty sure that when I open the door a half inch or so while driving the noise stops. It doesn't happen all the time and seem to vary in intensity. I'm having a hard time locating the source.
