Phaeton :: The Directional Signals Are Not On

With the engine running and the headlights on when I open the driver's door I get that message on the info-screen. The directional signals are NOT on. What is causing this?

Phaeton :: Check Turn Signals Alert And Chime
For 2 weeks the check turn signals alert and chime has been going on in my '04 V8 when the emergency flashers are on (I was in a funeral procession) moving forward or if the right directional is on and I am turning right. If the left directional is on and I am turning left, the alert does not go off. All bulbs are working properly.

Wondering if there is a relay for directional and hazards that would die.... I can see that the indicators in the speed/RPM gauge set do light up ever so weakly when I press the levers/button, but no power to the actual bulbs. Where is this relay/fuse?

Had a directional bulb go out recently and replaced it without any problem. About 3 days ago it went again, I bought a 2 pack of bulbs - replaced it and drove on. Almost instantly right after I turned and signaled the right directional bulb blew again, I grabbed the extra bulb put it into plug and started car - first right turn with directional bulb blows again. I'm at a loss as to where this can be happening. Is this in the steering column or elsewhere, where do I even begin to look.

I had this happen to me the other day and as it is outside of the usual for most cars, I thought I would mention it as it could lead to dead batteries if one doesnt pay attention to it.
If you turn off the Touareg with the directional blinker engaged, the parking lights on the side that the blinker was indicating will stay on after the car is turned off. The MFI iwill display PArking Lights ON.
When it first happened to me I started playing with the headlight switch to turn off the parking lights to no avail. I then cam to realize that it was the blinker that needed to be centered to turn them off.
Passat (B5) :: 2001 - Directional Started To Stick - Flasher?
I just purchased a 01 Passat and after about a week the directionals started to stick. I noticed that the flasher is incorparated with the 4 way flasher. If I wiggley the flasher or put on the 4 ways on for a brief second the directionals will work agin. Does this sound like a flasher concern or am I looking at bigger problems. I am no good when it comes to electrical. If it is the flasher I just called the local VW dealer and they have them in stock for 35 bucks. Are they hard to replace. Any special tools needed?

I have a 1998 Camry. My directional light and click correctly when I tun them on. When I GENTLY turn off the directional signal, I hear the relay continue to click, however the dash lights do not blink, nor do the outside lights. If I let the directional lever jump back into place, the problem does not occur. Is it the switch in the column, or the relay?

Been noticing when doing a touch-free high pressure car wash, I tend to have some issues after-wards in which the hatch signals it being opened (this was intermittent and would periodically ding it was open and go away), only to after about a day go away completely. This happened twice and since it rectified itself pretty quickly I didn't look further in to it. During the aforementioned issue period I was able to open the hatch, backup camera worked (OEM emblem one) and also use the rear wiper.
We had some pretty bad rain recently and I did a lot of driving that day between our house, work etc and it got a lot worse. Now it permanently says hatch is open, I cannot open the hatch via the emblem and the rear wiper does not work, but the backup camera works.
Lexus GX 2004-09 :: Turn Signals Went Out
Ok, I can't seem to get straight info anywhere. I want to replace my turn signals (front) with LEDs because one went out (gives me an excuse). I can't seem to figure out exactly which bulbs to buy nor can I figure out if I need to get anything additional to make them work. I see things on a few websites, which say I may need the resistor (or whatever) to make it blink. But I can't figure out what, exactly, I need.

A month ago, I needed my horn. No workie. Blown fuse. Yesterday, drove all morning, everything fine. Parked, came back to car, no signal lights on either side, no emergency flasher. Pulled fuse covers, no blown fuses. Restarted car, signals working again. Another change also: Ever since I found out how to view total consumption, miles since fillup, etc on the MFI, I have been unable to change it to current stats. I've pushed the roller wheel over and over again, held it in, etc. Now that this electrical gremlin has reared its ugly head, my trip computer has, on its own, reverted to current readings.

In my 97 Ford Taurus the turn signals and hazards are not working. I changed the fuses, but still no luck. Someone mentioned that there might be another fuse box under the hood (besides the maxi fuse box). Also someone mentioned the blinker fluid being low.

I have replaced the bulbs in every outlet on the passenger side but nothing is working yet. Is there a "flasher" that could be out on that side only and if so where is it located in the vehicle. (It sounds like it is behind the glove box.)

This morning i picked up my friend from her house and got into my Prius to start driving away, immediately after entering ready mode it beeped, the red triangle came one, the MFD said something like 'problem' or 'error', I don't remember the exact word and then two symbols came up. I turned the car on and off again and it was all still there. I drove anyway for about a mile to my other friends house where i turned the car on and off again and everything went away. The whole time the car felt fine, there was nothing wrong with it yet it had the triangle/symbols on the MFD.
