When I open any of the doors, the interior lights are not coming on automatically. If I turn them on manually, they work fine. Is there a switch that controls this or possibly a blown fuse?
View 7 RepliesI have a 2000 EX 7.3L ... The power windows aren't working and neither is the interior lights. I am hoping it is a couple of fuses. Problem is that I can't find a fuse diagram and I don't have any knowledge about changing the fuses. Do I need to change them both under the hood and under the dash? Which fuses I need to look at changing?
View 5 RepliesAll of my interior lights went out. Except for dome lights etc. Here's a more detailed description. Every light effected by the dimmer on the left side near the ECS button don't work. I'm assuming it's a fuse.
Cluster gauges still work fine. The lights just don't work.
Note: Both headlights are out so I don't know if that could be connected in some way. Haven't been able to change them yet.
So, which fuse this would be? I can't seem to find it. Or if it could even be a fuse?
I was wondering, how to access the "Vehicle" setup features within the Entune system on a 2014.5 Camry SE, WITHOUT having to go to the dealership to do so?
My interior lights do not turn on automatically when I first enter the car. I know it's easy enough to do this manually, but it's something 95% of cars do by default. Additionally, I'm one of those who likes to tinker with settings over a few days/weeks time, so I don't want to have to setup a trip and service every time I decide I liked a previous setup better than the current one.
My salesman went into these settings (on my car), so I know these settings exist and it should be easy enough to find the Contra special code to access them! My "Vehicle" settings are grayed out regardless of whether the car is turned or in accessory.

View 14 RepliesI've been trying to figure out why the dome interior lights are not lighting up when a door is open, etc. The only time those lights come on is when i physically push the light in. I thought it could have been a fuse, however, I replaced the 10 amp room LP fuse, but still nothing.

View 3 RepliesAbout month ago, my cabin lights stopped coming on when I open the door. I can turn the lights on, so it is not bulbs. It's a pain to come home at night and not have the lights come on for a few minutes as I get out of the car.
View 5 RepliesAt the beginning it was just CEL on. I checked the code and change transmission range sensor but it worked for few days only. Light came back and transmission sometimes stop to shift automatically. D1 on display and driving only on first gear, but when I switch to tiptronic - manually everything works great?!

I have an 09 Sonata that jerks when automatically down shifting just before coming to a stop or slowing to make sharp turn. Car has 130k miles and I've never changed transmission fluid. BTW...it's been a GREAT car!
View 7 RepliesI got the aftermarket lights through Yefeng, with quad HIDS. So after a while, Cluster lights, Vanity mirror lights, tail lights, cabin roof lights all started to flicker or strobe faintly. Very noticeable either when lights are on or off, drive or park.
Car has less than 12k miles.
I've been driving it like that with no problems. Except one morning before I left to work, car wouldn't start. (Happened randomly) Battery is good, alternator is good. Could something be pulling power from the alternator? I have no clue.

View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a 2011 Sonata GLS and I love it. However, I'm having a slight electrical issue.
While driving at night with the headlights on occasionally they'll dim and flicker and often cut off completely while driving or parked. The interior and dash lights will also switch off with the headlights, however the radio will still continue to play. The lights only stay off for a second and then come back on. Sometimes I can make them flicker and go off by turning on my blinker or switching between high and low beams.
I'm trying to figure out if it's a problem with the alternator, the battery, or the fuses and if this is a known issue.
Just bought a used 2011 SF GLS and the interior lights weren't coming on. I engaged the "door" button on the back seat dome light and they now come on as they should when the doors are opened or closed. BUT I can't get the front map lights to come on at all when the door opens. Engaging the "door" button for the map lights doesn't do it.
View 18 RepliesPast week I have noticed a flicker on all lighting (head/taillights, interior lights) on my '06 Sonata (4cyl). Seems to be an intermittent problem, as one time in three there is no flicker, and everything seems to be fine.
Yesterday, when pulling into my driveway, I momentarily lost all lighting/radio/fan for what seemed to me a full second and a half before everything "came back on".
I've checked fuses, battery cables (batty is new, 6mos)... Is this alternator related? What else should I be looking at? My Sonata has been bulletproof. No mechanical issues whatsoever....
We all know that it's dim, along with all the other interior lights of the 06 GS300, I've already checked the door light and it's on a circuit board, and the I-JDM ones fit everything but the GS.
View 9 RepliesI have a 2000 F350 7.3. I started out with my batteries dying after a few days of sitting. I found the interior lights were coming on dimly, and the relay buzzing. great, got it. I pulled the fuse and ordered the dimmer/light switch. I came back next week and the batteries are dead again. Charged them, drove the truck, and then the radio starts coming on without the key on. Pulled the radio.
Next day the truck starts fine, but now the seatbelt noid is going off all the time and the tranny overdrive is blinking "off" but still shifts fine, and goes into overdrive. The speedometer also works erratically... I read a post about the marker lights leaking, I looked and that's a definite possibility. My question is are all these related back to the GEM or BCM? or more problems?
I have a 2010 Accent GS. I was trying to change the bulb in the trunk light. I changed the bulb and now none of the lights inside the car work-- map lights, dome light, trunk light. I figured it was a blown fuse. I looked at the fuse box inside the car and I think I found the fuse I think it's the one in that yellow box that is in the right side center of the fuse box. How do you pull that thing out? Are you supposed to pull out the individual fuses. I pulled the yellow box. It only comes half-way out. How do I check that little 10 amp fuse inside that yellow box?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2006 passat and today when i was switching the bulbs out with different colored ones and the lights just went out along with the visor lights. I have checked all the fuses and bulbs to make sure they just didnt blow. There isnt much on the internet about this topic. What i have found out on the net is it could maybe be the (CCM). But i am unable to find that also.
