I'm having an issue with my drivers side door trim vibrating. Bumpy roads, snow covered roads, pretty much any road surface that isn't perfect, this piece of trip vibrates and makes a squeaking noise. I've attached a picture and put a circle where the noise is coming from. If I hold that part with my hand, the noise stops. It's very annoying since it's right next to my ear!
View 6 RepliesThe sunroof seems to squeak a lot while driving on bumpy/ uneven roads.
Before I didn't know where the squeaking sound was coming from, I assumed it was from the doors. But when I opened up the sunroof the squeaks went away and when I closed it the squeaks came back. The sound is so irritating sometimes that I am forced to drive with the sunroof open.
2013 RX 350. Noticed the driver's side mirror vibrate or shake a lot more while driving on some bumpy roads and freeways?
Compared to the passenger side which is pretty stable and to a 2012 RX 350 which is stable too.
How can I take the below door chrome trim off? I started wrapping one in 5d carbon fiber and I am about to take it off and start again. It would be so much easier if i could snap these off.
View 13 RepliesOn bumpy roads, and on most highways, there is a slight humming/rattling noise to the bottom left hand side of the steering wheel. Its really only audible when there's no music on, which happens to be how I like to drive. I've tried pushing on some of the panels when i hear it, to see if it dampens the noise, but no leads so far.

View 9 RepliesWhen I go over bumpy roads I get car noise. Seems worse than 6 mos ago. Maybe I'm imagining it. The noises are diffuse and somewhat varied, not limited to a single area. And varies in intensity with the bumps.
Anyway, I tried testing for bad shocks by pushing down the front and back of my 2004 Honda Pilot and watching the return. But I didn't observe much. I couldn't get much vertical distance on the push down, to begin with.
Incidentally, there's no instability while driving...no up and down bouncing, no lateral movement, no problem when braking or starting.
How to remove the driver side door trim? i need to change my side mirror housing. My is a 2007 gs450h.
View 2 RepliesI'm noticing my 2013 F-Sport seems to veer to the side on bumpy roads. It's totally straight on flat roads, but I notice it when I'm about to change into the left lane.
It's got 31k miles and has Bridgestone tires.
Just noticed the drivers bucket seat has started making squeak noises when driving over patchy roads. I know that using lube can solve it. My question is can the average person do this and does the seat have to be removed to fix the noise. It looks like 4 bolts will remove it, Now the tricky part. I have looked under the seat and see an electrical cable does this have to be unplugged and do I have to remove the Neg battery cable?
View 10 RepliesI seem to be having an issue with my air conditioning. I don't think it's an ID-10T error, but it is very peculiar.
My driver side vents blow hot or lukewarm air, however my passenger vents are ice cold. I have the 15 limited, so it does have the "dual" control, and as such I think the issue may be related to that.
Both controls are set to low, max fan, head only, and AC. The "Sync" and "Auto" buttons have no effect.
Any things I can check? I really do not want to bring it into the dealer as they treated me very poorly the last time I came in and my car was out for a month.
I'm pressing the button up on the drivers console and on the rear door but it won't go up. It went down no problem but it won't come back up. Checked all fuses and they're fine.

View 4 RepliesThis happens every single day. I'll be sitting in the car, keys in, or keys out of the ignition and all of a sudden you will hear ticking coming from the drivers side speaker. Then silence. Then randomly you hear the damned thing ticking again, sometimes 3 ticks, sometimes 4, sometimes 2, sometimes more.
It's happens sporadically. A different amount of ticks each time. It happens with car power on and off.
I'm assuming this is a build up of static? I have a subwoofer and amp installed and the power cable is running along the drivers side, could the speaker be picking up the electrical interference?
I recently drove to work last week and the downtown roads suck, ever since noticing this it seems like my brand new sonata is very bumpy. Its like now I am noticing all the bumps. Tires seem to make a lot of noise too.
Also when accelerating it seems like i can feel it in my foot on the gas pedal. I would say like vibration but not a vibration if that makes sense.
Any sonata owners notice when they have their foot on the gas pedal its not so smooth. Can you feel the engine working through the pedal?
This is a brand new car with less than 2,000 km on it.
I just got new es300h 2015, first day i already noticed noise from hood when driver side door opened, after door closed then opened, noise is gone.
Noise usually happened when car cooled down. I brought this issue to dealer they response its normal in hybrid car. I really doubt explanation.
Have a 15 250 diesel and my drivers side door has a rattle in it. Seems to be coming from around the area were the mirror buttons are. Removed that little panel and applied some silicone around the edges and seemed to work for a bit then back to noise. Seems to go away when cab heats up good or warm outside.

I have a 2011 sonata with 72000 Km on it. As I am driving at highway speeds I notice a rattle from the drivers side towards the door. I can't quite locate where but have tried pushing trim and I can't stop it. Took it to the dealer and was told there was nothing wrong and no rattle. On a trip yesterday I noticed the rattle stopped as I braked. So I then applied very light pressure on the brake pedal. So light it did not come off cruise. And the rattle stops. What is the likely cause? I want to be prepared with some ideas when I take it back to the dealer.
View 4 RepliesI got in my 2011 Sonata today to go to work and my driver side door won't lock either electrically or manually. The other 3 doors lock and unlock just fine. I'm really concerned because I can't even lock it manually by pressing the lock in. How to fix this anomaly?
