I want to plasti dip the emblem and the chrome piece on my hood and around my grill. what is the best way to do it? How can i remove it so i can easily paint it?

What is the best/easiest/most efficient way to black these out? Remove them and paint them? Mask it off and paint them? Plastidip?

View 2 RepliesSo for a couple months now, my ride has been making some weird noises.
When I start the car up after anything longer than a couple hours of use, it sounds as if I have a piece of loose metal banging/moving around. I hear it sporadically on shifting through the gears, and when I'm at a stop.
Car has been in to the dealer three times, and I took the foreman on a test drive...of course it wouldn't make the sound at all.
I took a look under the hood today and noticed that the coolant level is low...filling it back up tomorrow. That got me thinking about the transmission fluid....I looked and looked, and can't find the transmission dipstick anywhere.
Any clue where I can find some way to check the level?
Chrome trim on passenger side near headlight popped out some of it broken (only the pieces on the inside) any way I could salvage this trim without having to buy a new 1?...

When I first turn on the car the P doesn't show up in the indicator to show what gear im in and I'm unable to come out of Park with the break pedal depressed all the way down, (break pedal became stiff) turner off and turned the car back on and same thing....

Also I was going to get new winter tires so while they rims are off the tire i figured I would Paint them black to match better than the chrome. How to get them off easily? Also a good paint that wont chip easy when i paint them.

Have it on a hoist and still can't get to the rear bolts to remove them have 3 different socket sets power ratchet and different spanner sets. Is there a DIY write up on this or pictures as I have not been able to find one?
