Chrome trim on passenger side near headlight popped out some of it broken (only the pieces on the inside) any way I could salvage this trim without having to buy a new 1?...

Looks like clip behind trim snapped. Any kind of glue or adhesive can be recommend that will work?
While clamping trim to door I put a crimp mark in trim. Somewhere down the road I will replace this crimped trim.
My Sonata 2011 Limited passenger side headlight went out yesterday. I checked and the bulb was still good. I even tested it on a brand new bulb (i keep a spare pair with me just in case) without any luck.
I brought the car to the dealer. The service advisor suggested the headlight is out but I explained to him that was not the case. He still wanted me to pay around $95 for the diagnostic fee which i refused to pay since my car is still under the 5year/60K miles warranty. I do not want them later telling me the bulb is bad and I have to pay another $65 to get it replaced while it is still good.
Before that, the left turn signal was blinking rapidly and it is an on and off problem. Hence, I suspected there is a electrical problem with the car. I do not have HID or any additional electrical equipment installed beside what came with the car originally.
How do I remove side chrome door molding? Do they clip off?

I have a 2012 Sonata - My Drivers side Headlight (LO) went out (HI still works). I replaced it w/ not 1, but 2 bulbs (Sylvania XtraVision H7 from auto parts store), and in each instance - the LO does not work, and the HI does. I have read that it could be the B + 2 fuse. IF the fuse is OK, and the wiring shows no wear or rust...
Side note --- The Passenger side headlight - BOTH LO and HI - works OK.
I bought a 6000K HID kit from Xenon Supply, the one specifically designed for the Sonata and I'm having a few issues. The driver side headlight "bounces" when I go over rough roads. I haven't really noticed anything from the passenger side. I took the driver side bulb out, re installed it and made sure it was secure, but the same problem exists. The bulb is moving around under the retaining clip when I drive over rough roads.
Also, now its blowing fuses. I took the entire kit out and reinstalled it, checked all the connections, but for some reason the kit is blowing the 20 amp fuse that came with the kit.
The passenger's side headlight is not aimed properly. Where the screws for adjusting it are?
View 2 Replies2011 golf 2.5l. It all started a year ago, I changed a bulb.from there the head light error came on. I switched out the head light switches on both. Driver Side works all the time and both have been.now getting same problem it in passages side. Have to press the wire for the head light to even turn on sometimes ...... Not under warranty sense I replaced the bulbs my self..... I asked if I can get new wiring. But got a laugh and got a reply that I have to replace the whole head lights it self as a unit. So if I do have to go that route . Not hide stock head lights.
View 5 RepliesI currently have a 2011 Sonata. The drivers side low beam head light does not work. I thought it was the bulb, so I went and purchased a H7 bulb. When I replaced it with a new bulb it still did not work. The high beam works fine. So I thought I bought a bad bulb. I then tried the bulb i bought on the passenger side and low and behold the low beam worked. I then put my old bulb that I thought was bad on the passenger side and it worked.
I swapped every light bulb on the drivers side (the new one and my old ones I already had), and none of the low beams would work. I course I did move the switch to the correct position inside the card and no go. The DayTime running lights work fine, I just cant get the low beam to work on the drivers side.
I tried checking the fuses to see if i had a blown fuse and no luck. I could not find a blown fuse. Is there a fuse somewhere for the low beam light, if so I cannot find it anywhere in any manual that I have searched. I have also heard that it may be the Body Control Module.
So about a 2 weeks ago my drivers side headlight went out. I figured it was the bulb (even though I had just replaced them about a month prior). Got new bulbs and nothing. I checked the fuse and it was not blown. I made sure the electrical connections to the bulb weren't dirty and were connected properly.
Then last night my passenger low beam went out. I had changed the bulb when the other side went out 2 weeks ago. Its still brand new and not blown. I did the same thing, the fuse is not blown and the electrical connectors are clean and secure.
I just took my car into the dealer about a week before the driver's light went out and did their "Major Service". They did tell me that I would need to replace my battery soon. Could this be the cause?

I would like to remove the chrome window molding around the front and rear doors of my 2010 Camry. Is it difficult to remove? More importantly, when I go to reinstall it - is it difficult to get straight like OEM fit and finish?

The overriding conclusion is: it is easy; you can do it without drilling holes!
OK, let's start with a few photos of the parts. Note the "infamous" clips and double-sided tapes in the third picture.
Front Right side passenger bulb is out but it has been replaced twice. Where is the fuse and what is the amp?
View 1 RepliesI own a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS. Everything with the vehicle is fine until November of 2015. I noticed that the passenger side is blowing cold air when it should be blowing hot air. The driver side is fine. I thought it was a thermostat issue. At first I didn't change it until I noticed that the temperature gauge was acting up and realized that my thermostat was stuck open which made the engine over cooled. Once I replace the thermostat, I thought it would solve the issue with the passenger side blowing cold air but it did not. Basically its not a heater core issue, blend door is fine, the hoses that runs to and from the radiator to the firewall is fine and the one that runs to the water pump is good. I closed the passenger vents so only the driver side blows hot air. Its an annoying problem. I know the dealer can fix it but they want an arm and leg and it seems like I may be forced to take it to get it fixed.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2005 V8 Phateon. The molding on the driver side and rear passenger side door molding is coming off. Any clips you have to buy or can you just slide it off and put it back? Don't want to break anything trying to take the molding off.
View 2 RepliesMy 2008 460 has the damn peeling drip molding on the passenger side. I found a wrecked 07 gs of the same color in a local wrecking yard and I was wondering how hard it is to pull off the drip molding myself. Do I need any special service tools? Don't want to damage my car.
