I just purchased everything for my audio and I need wiring behind the radio. I purchased a Audio Control LC6i and I need to know which wires are for which speaker. I tried the Hyundai tech info website but it doesn't show anything when I go into the diagrams. By the way I have no navi just the steering wheel controls.

I just printed of a wiring diagram from web and went to work I am now on my second one and it has the same colors for two different speakers!! The first one was completely wrong. View 1 RepliesI removed the rear radio controller from the back of the console and installed a power inverter in its place. It fit great and everything went smoothly. I should have known it was too easy... I now have no sound coming out of the rear speakers. I assume there is a way to jump the wires to allow the speakers to work, but I'd need a wiring diagram. Right now I have the controller hooked up and buried in the console, which I guess is fine. It's just annoying.
View 10 RepliesI'm currently trying to swap out the standard AM/FM/CD for a DVD receiver with backup camera, and need to find out the proper wiring colors and pin position. I'd rather not send it to a stereo shop, as I've seen a lot of hack work by so called "audio installation experts", and besides.. I have a shop and can do the work myself.
I tried looking through AllData, but since my truck is too new, Ford doesn't release a lot of technical info for us in the aftermarket. Looking for a link to a Ford diagram?

Everything I find online only shows 2-3 wires in each sub connector, nothing with all wires and colors, and what they do. and of course the factory service manuals no longer work on my new computer. the switch and associated wires went up in smoke 2 hours ago, and this truck is my only means of transportation rite now. what i need is headlight wiring with colors so i can temporary hook up a toggle switch to have lights until the new switch and connectors come in next week. I went to pull the switch and connectors out of the parts truck, but of course that does not have fog lights so it uses different switch and connections.
View 14 RepliesLooking for a source for a wiring diagram for the 2003/4 f350 instrument cluster, specifically the wiring/connectors to the gauges? A link to a PDF file would be nice. I would like to try and disconnect the PCM control to the transmission temperature and engine temperature and drive the gauges from my own sensors to bypass the non-linear behavior that ford decided was in our best interest. I am NOT interested in installing any more gauges, just want to control the ones already present with my own signals. It is possible that these gauges are all addressable devices on a common bus, instead of individual controls.
View 8 RepliesLooking for a wiring diagram for a F-150 XLT LARIAT 5.8L 4BBL, all the books I have looked at show the wiring for this year with fuel injection and this truck came with a 351W with a Holley 600 4BBL, I have a few wire's in the engine compartment that melted away all the insulation, they are located close to where the harness passes the firewall before the ignition module. Is this a common problem on old models ?. Need a clear copy of the correct diagram for a f-150 1987 with carburetor, how I can get a copy so I can fix this problem before it gets worse.
View 3 RepliesI am curious if it is possible to make a stand alone controller for the electric shift transfer case in a 2000 F-350?
The reason I ask is, this is swapped into a 4x4 conversion in a van and I would like the transfer case to work like the factory, but I don't want to swap over the whole GEM module. I have the high to low and low to high shift relays and wiring, the selector switch from the dash.
I know that powering up the relays will shift the transfer case, but the GEM module tells when the relays need to shut off, and that is where I am not sure what to do. I am assuming that the other plug on the shift motor (6 pin plug) is the sensor that tells the GEM module where the shift is at.
What needs to be done (with a bank of relays).....

Im able to get to the bulb (from under the front fender) I took the bulb out and I notice the harness is not on the back cap of the bulb....
Where's the harness???? I need to install the load resistors.

This is a pretty standard feature in any other car (at least Fords and GMs that I know of), but not in the sonata. Is there a mod that can be done so that the radio stays on until the doors are opened after the car is shut off?
View 10 RepliesShortly after buying a used 2013 Sonata the radio started working intermittently then quit working at all.It's the base model radio with no navigation and no reset button. I have tried disconnecting the battery, re-seating fuses and even pulling the harnesses off of the radio and it is still not working. Before replacing the radio I want to see if i can use a battery to power it up on the bench to see if the radio is bad or if the problem is somewhere else in the car.
View 1 RepliesI have the base model radio in my Sonata. I usually just keep a thumb drive in it to play music from so I don't have to worry about ipod or cds being stolen or anything.
About three times a week on random songs, the player locks up. Filename stays displayed in a large font, and never plays. When this happens, the CD player also won't work. The only cure so far is to turn the car off for a few minutes, the start it again. Just powering off the radio itself doesn't seem to work. All will be well for a few days then it will happen again.
I have eliminated the thumb drive and the music files as causing this.
Today I woke up to go to work and noticed that I don't have any sound coming from my radio. At first, I thought the station might be having some issues so I tried a different station and still no sound. I switched to CD player and guess what...no sound. I tried XM and guess what...no sound. I tried bluetooth and guess what...still no sound. When I got to my destination, I shut off the car, then started the car back up and guess what...still no sound. I messed with the sound settings and it's not in mute, volume controls are functioning fine. I know that the Dimension sound system have some kind of amplifier that is powering the speakers.
View 1 RepliesJust put a new battery in our 2011 Sonata, now the radio doesn't turn on. Didn't find anything in the owners manual about this, and when I called the service dept at my dealer they said "I don't know, you'll have to bring it in". Hope it might be something simple to reset?
