View 1 RepliesMy wife usually has her iPhone with Bluetooth turned on. If I am driving and she gets a call, the radio is muted while she is talking on the phone. Even if she switches the audio source to iPhone and not the speaker, it takes away my music! I guess there is no way around this?
View 3 RepliesI have the Premium 8 stereo in my '13 Tig. SE and when streaming music via Bluetooth on my iPhone 5S, the album art does not display on the head unit. It does not make a difference whether it is iHeart Radio, Pandora, iTunes Radio, Tune in Radio or straight off the iPhone 5 hard drive. The album art displays just fine when I am listening to HD radio.

One is called 7P6 035 730 J and the other 5K0 035 730 D.
My 2010 Santa Fe came with the GPS, backup camera, satellite bluetooth capable head unit. It started acting up after being parked for 4 months. I noticed a delay in the display response to a setting change. Change an FM station preset and it would take the head unit 20-30 secs to show that change.
Did everything suggested, reset unit several times nothing worked until I de-paired all bluetooth devices. Now it works great.
I have a 2007 RX 350. I just recently started using bluetooth. It was working well and then all of a sudden I have an issue after a call. I hang up my phone, but the screen still shows that it is talking; although, no call is being made. I have to stop and start car to get it to clear, so I can start again. However, it will only work once and then it still won't hang up.

The car detects the phone's audio media, but can't seem to be able to make calls using the Bluetooth. I remove my phone from my car's system and reconnect it. View 8 RepliesI bought brand new 2013 Camry SE yesterday night..it has been just 15 hours since I bought it..today morning when I tried to pair my phone with car multimedia system...it showed the screen that it is connecting and the little circle on the top right was moving in circle as if it was trying to connect and all of a sudden it just got hang up...right there....its not going any where...now.
Is there a way to reboot this multimedia system (just like you can reboot computer or phone)..??
I tried turning car on-off...tried setup -default on bluetooth settings etc...but no luck.
Just picked up an 08 460L with navigation and was looking to sync my Motorola Droid X. I have successfully paired the phone for voice communications using the instructions in the manual but when I go to transfer my phone book the car just says transferring. I left this for about 10 minutes and no numbers moved. The phone says Paired for audio is this would be my guess as to why this isnt working. Any tips to get my numbers imported?
View 14 RepliesJust took delivery of my 2005 SC430 (Egyptian Sand, white leather, 55k miles. Lovely vehicle.) which I thought came with Bluetooth.
However, when looking to pair my iPhone 4S the 'Phone' icon is not present on the ML Nav Info display screen, suggesting that maybe Bluetooth is missing? I confirmed it's a 2005 from the VIN.
When I depress the little button below and behind the steering wheel volume buttons (left side - this is a US car) I get a voice saying 'No cassette inserted' or words to that effect, suggesting it's a cassette control button, not a Bluetooth one. The Nav instruction book which came with the car specifically refers to the presence of Bluetooth.
How to find if I have Bluetooth or not? My iPhone cannot 'discover' anything.
My iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.2 was not able to play music via Bluetooth in my 2014 Camry. After installing iOS 8.1 today, I can play music and make calls via Bluetooth. This issue was also present in my wife's 2013 Accord.
View 4 RepliesIve got an iphone 3g and a Prius with the Sat Nav, i saw a clip on you tube about a year ago with some guy playing music from his iphone via Bluetooth. Ive tried to do this and it doesn't, the phone is BT synced with the car for the handsfree phone but in the audio tab one called "BT" is grayed out im assuming thats the one i need its next to the "Aux" tab. I don't know if they guy was using some third party software or something
View 6 RepliesI started using the Bluetooth connection to stream pandora over using entune lately because entune seems to take forever to start up and I just start pandora with Siri and turn to the Bluetooth input on my head unit. This worked good for a few weeks and now all the sudden it doesn't have sound.. The screen shows what song is playing and I can use my steering wheel controls to skip songs and it shows the progress bar of the song duration progressing but no sound? I have not tried it thru the entune app since this started happening so I am not sure if it works that way recently(I'm usually drivig and don't want to fumble around turning on hotspot to connect to entune).
View 5 RepliesI have a '10 with NAV. iphone 5S. Bluetooth enabled on phone and syncs to car. Phone calls work great.
On the Radio function, there is a BT (among others) tab, however mine is greyed out. AUX tab lights up with the cable plugged into the port in the black hole and my phones headphone port. Whether this cable is plugged in or not, the BT tab is never accessible. My wife has a '13 Venza with NAV same iPhone and she can play music through her phone wireless, selecting the BT tab.
I have a 2010 RX350. Using my iPhone 5 with the bluetooth in the car is a little hit and miss/sluggish. When hitting the button for Siri, the car seems to struggle with the process.
I am curious if the firmware for the car is current... and if not, does a more current firmware update the bluetooth for better functionality. I haven't had it updated for almost 2 years. I do have navigation.
I recently purchased a Prius 3 - Solar Roof package -In the navi manual page 154, "Bluetooth Phone Message Function" - this feature does not show up in my car. I have the iphone4s, I am missing the feature with the phone synced and not synched.
View 2 RepliesI'm trying to figure out if I'm dealing with an isolated situation...my iPhone 4's BT music streaming tends to have a slow-down effect whenever I start using the phone. It doesn't have to be a million apps running in the background for it to slow down (as if someone just turned off the turntable while the LP was playing), it could be caused by a simple accessing of the phone main screen... My prior car (Acura TL-Type S '07) worked flawlessly with my iPhone 3GS, so not sure if it's the iPhone 4 or my Prius V...
