Should I be able to open the rear passenger doors with keyless entry? It works great on both of the front doors and works well on the rear hatch but not on the rear passenger doors. If it should work how do I set it up.

View 7 RepliesI'm having a little bit of a problem with my keyless entry. The rear doors are not opening when i touch the handle, but they do lock. My dealer says that this is "normal" though I'm pretty confident that I have used the keyless entry to open the rear doors in the past. I'm not knocking on my dealer, as they've really been good about warranty issues (no questions asked), but i think my SA is misinformed.
View 15 RepliesThe rear doors on our '07 V10 no longer unlock when the handle is grasped. They also refuse to respond to the unlock button on the key fob. They will unlock in response to the button on the inside of the driver's door.
View 1 RepliesWhen I open the doors on my touareg, the rear hatch does not unlock. When I try to program it as an option to open the rear hatch when I unlock the doors, it works for awhile. But, it always goes back to not opening. I recall a few months ago a similar question or post about a solution, like reprogramming something else first or at the same time.

View 12 RepliesGot an issue with the wife's Camry. I CAN NOT get the passenger door and both rear doors to lock automatically. I can manually flip the lock and they stayed locked, but that is the only way to lock them. They un-lock like normal.
Symptoms are as follows:
I do not hear any noise (in the three doors that will not lock) when I press ANY the lock buttons.
Drivers side door:
- with key in door it will unlock drivers door with one turn and all others with second turn. (normal)
- with key in door I can get the drivers door to lock, but the other three doors do NOT lock.
- with inside switch I can unlock all doors with unlock button.
- with inside switch I can lock drivers door but not the other three
Passenger side door:
- with key in door I can unlock all doors
- with key in door I can get ONLY divers door to lock.
- with inside switch I can unlock all doors with unlock button.
- with inside switch I can lock drivers door but not the other three
Key fob:
- with one press I can unlock the divers door and another press unlocks the rest of the doors.
- with the lock button I can get the drivers door to lock but the other three do NOT lock.
I have checked all fuses that I think are related. I don't have a repair manual so I don't know exactly what wires and plugs and fuses are all related to the lock/unlock system. I plan to get a manual soon.
Do the passenger and rear doors have different power to their locking solenoids separate from the drivers door? Could a broken wire in the drivers door (a common problem from what I've been reading on here) play a role in the other three doors not locking? Also I've read about the BCM being faulty in these cars (even though the problem described with that is the doors not unlocking and my problem is the exact opposite).
My sonata 2009 power windows for the rear passenger doors are not working. From the driver's master switch , i can control all 4 power windows with no problem. But if i go to the rear doors (LH and RH) and use the power window switch from there. The windows don't go up or done. There is no sound like the motor is moving. Not very familiar with power windows circuit. But base on the description, by deduction, does it mean the rear power windows switch is broken ? Is there anything that i should check also. Is there any sites that has a diagram on how the power windows are interconnected.

I have tried pushing the door knob down and this wont budge either, took the door card off and can hear a clicking when you press the key fob but thats it lock does not move?
I am getting some rattling noise from the inside of the cabin between the front and rear passenger doors. I had the exact same thing happen on my first Phaeton at around 25000 Miles. What causes this??

View 12 RepliesMy 2013 is 9 months old and over time I've noticed whenever I lock my doors. My passenger side rear door does an extra click. Sounds like it's locking twice, an extra one after the original click.It's not a huge deal, I just hear it every time and I wonder if it could turn into an issue with locking etc.. Don't have a problem bringing it into the dealer for a look.
View 7 RepliesJust took my 2014 F150 FX4 to the dealer for a rattle in the front and rear passenger side doors that rattle with the windows down . Sounds bad when you close the door. Dealer told me it was normal. So here I am with a 50,000 dollar truck with 5,000 miles on it and they say that's normal even tho the drivers side doors do not make this noise. Not really happy with FMC these days.
View 14 RepliesI've recently purchased an off-lease 2007 Sonata and have the following question about the keyless entry. When I unlock the doors I notice that there is a short flashing of parking lights, however when locking the doors with the remote there is no indication.
I believe the manual says there ought be a short chirping which I am not hearing. The remote is just for keyless entry (no alarm is present). While this may be related, I find the horn sound is not very robust (actually quite puny). Is this normal for this car?
I have a 2008 fully loaded Prius.
Keyless entry. it will not lock but pressing the black nubs or via either set keys. It some times beeps or does nothing.
I verified all doors are closed and there is no door open light on the dash. Every time I exit the car the car gives 3 beeps and the key light on the dash flashes.
1995 Aurora Remote entry fails. Keys were in pocket and I got wet while surf fishing... It worked last night coming home but this morning it fails to open doors or trunk.. I checked batteries,, 3 volts each... Did I short out the unit?? How can I check that out and if so, other than a dealer where can I find a new remote entry device...What has to be done to the unit to tune it to my car..

- the dashboard curve above instrument panel creaks constantly (even when the car is torqued in a slow turn)
- right rear passenger door creaks where panel meets doorframe and where wood trim meets door panel
- storage box above center vents creaks
- passenger door creaks where leather patch meets door panel
- smalls wood strip above light switch is damn near falling off (not just wood part, the entire aluminum/wood panel)
- some kinda thump (sounds more substantial than trim) from the rear over larger bumps.
- top compartment closure of armrest leaves a 1/4" play that creaks when even the slightest pressure is applied.
and I am sure several more I just cant locate
Bottom line, I waiting for an '05 because I thought they would have the bugs out, but this things is miserable. Even the smallest of ripples in smooth pavement sends my ears pointing toward some awful creak or rattle. And even if I bring these things up to the dealer, 1) will they be willing to fix and 2) is it really in their realm of ability? I just want my car to be quiet like it was designed, right now sounds worse than the 120k miles 97 chevy suburban my friend has.
All of a sudden, my 2008 prius, basic package without the smart entry system, stopped locking or opening the doors when i pressed the button.
At first i thought it must be a dead battery, so i replaced it with a new one and got the exact same behavior. i checked the old battery and it was still giving off 3 volts as was the new one when i checked that with a volt meter. when i press any of the buttons on the key, a small led light goes on and on the dashboard a picture of a key lights up briefly. the owner's manual does not show the key as a warning light.
