2007 yukon the message appears and the 10 amp fuse blows that feeds the electric to my seats and my remote entry. If I replace the fuse all is well for maybe a day or two. My dealer has no clue. Tires are up to pressure...

I filled all the tires to specs, but the light and message remain. The lite on the dash goes out, but the message stays on. Has a tire pressure sensor failed? If so, how does the mechanic know which one? Finally, how much does a tire pressure sensor cost?
View 2 RepliesI have an 04 - V6 with about 55k miles. Tire Pressure Monitor System Fault is the message. The tire pressures are fine. Message appears after 15 minutes or so of driving. After another 5 minutes or so of driving, the fault message goes away - whey you click to vehicle status it says "OK". I took it to my local VW dealer, they said they fixed it, but on the way home from the dealer, it popped up again. They are perplexed. This is not the "Faulty wheel on board" message, it is totally different....

View 13 RepliesI just bought a 2008 Highlander. I'm thrilled with the quality of the vehicle so far. This model has a tire pressure monitor system which I can't seem to reset. I've set the pressure in all tires at 34psi and 44 for the spare, and the indicator light will not go out. I press the reset button and the indicator light never blinks to indicate that a reset is in progress.
View 29 RepliesOur tire pressure monitor light came on recently. I checked the tire pressures, topped off all four and reset the TPMS button, but no luck. The light blinks, but then stays on. I'm thinking I've got one of two problems. Either the spare has low pressure or the batteries are used up in the sensors. The car is an early 2009. Seven full years seems kind of early for the batteries to be finished in the TPMS units.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2010 F250 Super Duty with 18" factory wheels. I started having intermittent Tire Pressure Monitor Faults. My research lead me to believe that the seven year old sensors were probably running out of battery life. So... When I had new tires installed I also had new FoMoCo sensors installed and I purchased a FoMoCo tool (TPMS 19) to train the new sensors. My problem is that I cannot get the sensor training process to work. When I put the truck into the train mode and try to retrain the LF tire, nothing happens and eventfully the horn beeps twice and the dash reads that the training failed. Where is the receiver that the sensors communicate with? Could it be bad?

I have yet to find it, and was not under the impression that I was getting that feature when I was buying car. Seeing it on the window sticker a few months after I got the car surprised me.
But so far I haven't found hide nor hair of it. If I had tire pressure monitoring... where would it be?
I have a 2007 F150 Screw lariat and have swapped the factory 20" wheels for a set of18" FX4 wheels. Question is how do i get the light on the dash to go off?? I swapped these tires and wheels 2 weeks ago and never got a light.. now tonight I get a light? I don't know if the 18" have pressure sensors in them or not..Wouldn't I have gotten a light right away?
View 1 RepliesI've had a "need service soon" message and amber triangle symbol for a couple of weeks and cleared all of the reminders for service. The oil change isn't for another 5k. Now the message is "need service" with the same symbol. This is a 2015 LS with 5k on the odo. I called the dealer and was told that only they can turn the light off. This 5K service is free and includes everything that I do at least every month and...resetting the maintenance light! I doubt that this service is required to maintain the warranty so I would like to turn the light off. Is this possible without going to the dealer? Oh, by the way they also check the driver's floor mat.

One sensor battery is completely dead, and when replaced, the other 3 batteries were too weak remove the alert from the information panel. Cost to repair all 4 is $400. Decided to live with the alert and they graciously put the bad sensor back in. Is there any way to disable the system? I check tire pressures regularly anyway. The continuous alert is agrivating.
View 5 RepliesI Opened my 2011 Prius trunk to get the tire wrench to take my snow tires off, and install my main tires and rims. When I went to start up the car after it was done, I have a "Check Hybrid System" Message on the MFD. I wondered if I'd hit one of the 2 orange items on the Electric drive battery, that was exposed in the trunk, and I can't get rid of the message. The car is not drivable, the system doesn't read "READY" and the engine doesn't start.
View 8 RepliesI have Lexus 460 LS L 2007. Few months back changed the battery and every thing was ok. 2 months after I had problem in the sound system ( radio and dvd ) which was on and off. One month back suddenly I had all the warning lights in the dashboard on with massage saying that that the brake system is malfunctioning and check the ABS system.
I took the car to LEXUS dealer and they reprogrammed the computer abd then every thing went back to normal and the problem fixed. Two days after I had these warning lights again with the same massege. I do not know what to do ??
1. I think my battery is getting weak.... when i cranked it, it didnt sound strong and the original battery eye says to add distilled water. I am thinking about getting a replacement battery at Costco.
2. so right after it started, the message of "Check Brake System" shows up. Tried to restart but no go. Drove about 15 miles and all seems fine but message is still there.
* is it OK to replace with a Costco brand battery (they have a great returns policy) and is there anything i need to do before or after replacement?
* could the Check Brake System be due to the weak battery? How can I reset it?
* Anything else that can cause this error message?
Started the car this morning- and got a message. "Check parking brake system" .
The Auto button for the parking brake seems to flicker, and the park light on the dash blinks. Car make ding sound while driving.
2008 LS460
i drive a 2007 XC90 V8 with 76000miles and recently i got a power system failure message and battery light went on , so took it to my mechanic and he tested the car and it was tuning out 11volts so he concluded it was the alternator, so he recommended changing the regulator and i got a new regulator made by Bosch and it was installed and upon starting the message came back on and the battery light as well and upon testing it was producing 15.4volts , now its overcharging , what do i need to do ? should i buy another regulator ? as my mechanic says alternators hardly ever get damaged but the regulator is the one that usually gets damaged...

When I should use the tire pressure reset bottom under the dash? Do I need to reset the system after I adjust the pressure every time?
View 2 RepliesIs there a way to completely disable the TPM system, I have turned it off in the MFI, but it displays a warning at the top of the screen, always. I put some Porsche 19"wheels on the Touareg without TPM. I took it to the dealer and they were unable to provide a solution.
