I'm a little worried about how much weight i have gained!
Im 38 weeks pregnant and have gained about 13lbs.
To me that feels too little for being this far along!
According to my BMI i should gain 15- 20lbs for the pregnancy.
I'm 12 days delayed menstruation today, my period is irregular. should I take more pregnancy test or should I go to a doctor?my partner and I trying to have a baby this past 2 yrs. and we are having difficult to monitor my menstruation cycle because of my irregular period.

my boyfriend and I only had sex twice this month. my period ended on the 19th of feb. and I had unprotected sex on the 25th of Feb, and 4th of March, using the withdrawal method. my boyfriend generally pulls out a few seconds before he ejaculates. My boyfriend also smokes.
Over the past recent days I've been having minor, short cramping, but sometimes it feels like the pain moves up to my ribs? I'm pretty sure some of the cramping was caused from wind. I've been passing wind quite a bit the past 2 days and have experienced minor diarrhea, and some minor constipation today. I've also been peeing a bit more frequently but not sure if it's just me taking more notice and over thinking the situation (maybe I've been drinking more fluids) or if the amount I urinate is completely normal as usual? Only last night have I started to notice a slight rise in body temperature, and during the day today I felt like I had a few hot flushes, but at times I still feel physically cold. Around the 20th of Feb and so forth, I experienced creamy cervical mucus production, but as days went on it become less and less, now it appears that I hardly have any discharge at all? I do feel like I've been eating a bit more but it's hard to tell because I generally eat plenty anyways. Although, today I didn't feel like eating at all? Not sure if it was just stress though. Also, during the day today I experience some back pain - but this may have been from me sitting on a backless chair for three + hours? This may be unrelated but on the side note I've also been experiencing pain in my fingers, shoulders and other places around my body.
I have not experienced or noticed any other visible pregnancy symptoms so far. No morning sickness, no breast changes, no cravings, no spotting, no fatigue (in fact I've been feeling more awake than ever) etc.
My period is due in 2 or 3 days. I took a pregnancy test tonight, carefully following the instructions, and it came back as a negative.
Could I just be over-thinking and stressing about the situation, causing my mind to notice/believing I'm pregnant?
How reliable is a pregnancy test?
I had extreme preeclampsia with my daughter 6 years ago, so I took precaution on this pregnancy. I was watching my diet and trying to take it easy. But yet it seems the condition had not eluded me. I thought it wouldn't be quite so scary this time, since I knew more about it, but I was wrong. I'm not sure if it is because it was caught so much earlier since we were watching for it, I'm only 31 1/2 weeks, or what. Today I did the 24 hr urine test and tomorrow we'll get the results and then we go from there. Other than the preeclampsia, baby and I are doing great, which is why I'm hoping for the best tomorrow.

View 1 RepliesI am 22 and I have been using contraception from the age of 16 and for the last 4 years relied on implanon, and now nexplanon to prevent unwanted pregnancy. I haven't experienced any form of bleeding for over 4 years but had spotting about 10 days ago, for 3 day.
Since this time my breasts have been swollen and very sore. My areola has darkened and veins are more visible. I haven't had any sickness but I feel nauseous and bloated all the time, with loss of appetite. I have chronic heartburn and acid reflux.
I haven't done a test because I don't want to overreact to what could be my menstrual cycle but me and my partner are becoming increasingly concerned.
Could the recurrence of bleeding be a sign that the implant isn't inserted properly or is there a chance of pregnancy on nexplanon?
I intend to do a test in the next 10 days but any insight to my symptoms or situations.

I am so scared that something will be wrong. That I will miscarrige. Are all those thoughts normal or am i crazy? Also what should i expect to feel or look for at the ultrasound??
