When should you go get your first ultrasound done? I'm 7 weeks I had one done but I never did a new appt. When should I go back and set up at appt?

So i just found out I am pregnant on monday. My doctor said I am between 4-5 weeks which I know is still really early. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow morning. I am so scared that something will be wrong. That I will miscarrige. Are all those thoughts normal or am i crazy? Also what should i expect to feel or look for at the ultrasound?? I went for my 1st ultrasound yesterday but the doctor could not see the baby. As per the calculation, i'm 6 week pregnant and should have been able to see the baby, but the doctor said that maybe we had caught the pregnancy early on. She took the blood work to check the HCG level and have asked me to come again for the 2nd blood work on Thursdays. She will compare the hcg from the blood work and then tell me about the baby. I don't know if this is normal.

I am 36 and almost 6 weeks pregnant. I tested positive on Friday for pregnancy but on Saturday I found some brown blood when I wiped after using the restroom. It stopped but started again on Monday and continued on. Nothing present on my panty liner except a small brown dot or two. I went to ER and they did an ultrasound, both on my stomach and transvaginal. Dr told me it was too early to tell. As I was leaving the hospital I felt a gush of fluid release down there and thought it may have been the gel from the t/v u/s. I got he and found that my panty liner was soaked with bright red blood. I quickly changed that pad and called the same ER doctor that I saw and he said that it was more than likely a miscarriage. Other than that one gush, things have gone back to the brown spotting (though I did noticed some tiny brown particles floating in the toilet after urination - sorry tmi). From all the things that I have read about miscarriages, I doesn't seem like I had one or having one, however my u/s did not show that a fetal pole was present. Has anyone ever experienced this? Can you bleed like that after a transvaginal u/s? I am going to see my OB tomorrow and have the hcg test redone, but right now i am freaking out. Currently my count is at ~7300. Also, I do have a couple of small fibroids so can that affect anything?

I am 35 years old and found out I am pregnant only recently. I thought I was 5 weeks pregnant but everyone keeps telling me I am 6. I found 4 massive red spots last Friday that set me off in a panic. I called the hospital and they set up a vaginal ultrasound for today. In the meantime I rested and only had brown blood and very faint when I wiped.
Had the appointment today and there was no heart beat but we did see the sac but no sign of baby as still very small or so the nurse said. I am scheduled for another scan in 2 weeks' time so hopefully all will be well. I had a miscarriage in 2002 so don't really want to go through the same thing.

I have a thyroid nodule that was found in an ultrasound 6 months ago and I recently had my 6 month follow up ultrasound which found that the nodule had grown. My doctor has told me that it went from 1.1 cm to 1.3 cm...but the radiologist told me during my FNA last week that it was only 9mm? I am so confused...I will be asking for copies of ALL of my test results tomorrow morning since there seems to be differing information.
During my FNA last week the doc and tech were unsure what it was that they were doing a biopsy on...a thyroid nodule, a cyst or and enlarged lymph node. When they did the first aspiration they said that it looked as if the "nodule" went down...i was happy because I thought maybe it was a simple cyst, but then whatever it was filled right back up and went back to the same size. They took 3 samples and the doc told me that he wasn't worried about this and I shouldn't be either and I would receive my results in 3-5 days and that was that! I found out today that the tests came back "insufficient cells for diagnosis...repeat biopsy". FRUSTRATING!!
Here are my concerns and confusion...
Can a lymph node be mistaken for a thyroid nodule or cyst?
Would a nodule or cyst immediately back up after aspiration seemed to shrink it?
Should I be worried about any of this?
What questions should I ask my doctor and the doctor doing the FNA?
