Hair and nails growing like crazy and I'm only 13+1 . I have a ways to go so imagine how long my hair will get. But in the contrary, I'm getting tons of hair every where else tho. It's so thick on my arms, under my arms pits, legs, stomach and my vagina. Whats causing me to grow hair every freaking where! Prenatals? ? Anybody else experiencing this? I've heard that some women lose hair or it sheds too.

Do I need to see a Consultant Gynaecologist to discuss any kind of medication I could take to try to stop the growth of my uterine mass or to try to shrink it without any kind of surgical procedure in mind, at least for the time being ?
I normally do not like Pepsi but for some reason I am wanting Pepsi like crazy!! I know it's not good for the baby but I have been drinking it here and there trying not to drink too much.

View 3 RepliesOver the last month my left thumb nail and occasionally my right will go a bluey/purple colour when I am cold or washing my hands. I went to see my doctor about this who suggested it was probably just stress and to take a multivitamin(!) However since seeing my doctor my fingers and occasionally my palms are going blue as well! On top of this both of my ring finger nails are permanently blue? I don't have an appointment until the 24th and am really worried because everything I have read online is suggesting heart/lung disease etc. I am only 26 years old!! I have been going through a very stressful time recently with losing my house and then a family member and am suffering with anxiety.

If I don't shave after the hair grows in for a couple of days I tend to be uncomfortable and now annoyed since I can't remove and my husband is too nervous too.
A bit nervous to go to a salon or spa and expose myself, but it may be the only option.
After my miscarriage in November I started losing hair like crazy which I assume is the equivalent of postpartum hair loss. But I am pregnant again and I'm still losing so much hair. Could this still just be hair loss from my miscarriage or is there another reason for this amount of shedding?

View 2 RepliesMy boyfriend quit when we found out we were pregnant. He quit with me. Now he's smoking again, has been for about two months. Honestly, I feel like ripping my hair out some days because I want one so badly. It takes everything in me to not grab one an hide it for a day when he is working. It was different when we quit together. But I just don't feel strong enough most days lately. And I want one so badly, it's a lot harder then it should be. I feel like I'm going to snap.

I have been diagnosed with a ferritin level of 8 and an iron level of 28. I am taking 325 mg of iron 3 times a day along with other vitamins. Approximately how long before I see an improvement in hair fallout and regrowth. I am also seeing a dermatologist for corticosteriod injections to help with regrowth in the completely bald spots. I am strongly considering shaving my whole head?
View 4 RepliesSo, to being, I'm 25. I've had seven miscarriages so far and I really don't want to lose this one. I've finally found a stable enough relationship with my fiancee who has been super supportive through all of this. Also, I have an advanced case of PCOS that causes massive hair growth on my face and other parts of my body, so I have an overproduction of testosterone.
About a week or so ago, I found out I was 3 weeks pregnant. I had my usual period but then the bleeding wasn't stopping so I called my doctor, they asked me to take a pregnancy test, it came out positive. They had me follow up with another one the following day and it too was positive. They had me come in and do blood draws.
The first draw returned HCG levels of 103. That was Wednesday of last week. On Friday last week, I went in for another blood draw and the HCG level was at 150. So it is increasing, but I am still bleeding. It's not the normal implantation blood which is darker in color, it's a brighter red like a period.
Sometimes it's heavier than others on some days and other days it's lighter. Even throughout the day it changes how heavy or light it is. I'm so confused and it's causing me undue stress which is not good for the baby.
I've only had one day where there was tissue passed and that scared the ever living daylights out of me. I really want this baby and I'm trying everything I can to keep it. I've been taking prenatal vitamins every morning, I quit drinking caffeinated drinks all together, I've been drinking more water, eating more fruit everything you're supposed to do to help the baby grow strong.
The doctors tell me not to worry but because of my past history, I can't help but. I'm going in for another blood draw today and I'm worried as all hell that it's going to come back even lower and that they will tell me I'm going to lose this baby.
Anyone else experience anything like this where the bleeding increases and decreases throughout the day?

The past few weeks I've been having such crazy, weird dreams. My friends passing away, my boyfriend leaving me, seeing exs', it's just been so weird to the point it's quite emotionally disturbing. Has anyone else had this?
View 1 RepliesI've been on 50mg sertraline and 80 mg propranolol for over a month now, for bad social anxiety and depression. I only take the propranolol in the morning before i go to work or if i have to go out somewhere or if i have visitors coming etc, so i only take one of those a day, occasionally 2. The sertraline i also take in the morning. I have started to notice a slight change - on some days at work i feel almost like a normal functioning human being and i am actually able to talk to people and be around people without having a complete irrational meltdown. Yay! This is not every day, i still have bad days and i still feel very low but if it is a sign of things to come i am feeling rather hopeful. Side effects haven't been too bad, the worst one i would say was the tired feeling and just feeling very out of sorts sometimes, kind of dizzy and fuzzy headed, off balance etc. But now i have started to have really crazy dreams every single night for the past week or so. I am managing to sleep eventually, although it does take me a while to drop off, but it's just the dreams now. Not nightmares as such, just absolutely weird and crazy dreams, every single night now, is anyone else having this problem?
