Anyone dilating early? I'm 36 weeks and I felt like I would be starting to dilate but nope. Got checked today, the doctor said I'm still closed but cervix is thinning out.
View 8 RepliesI just had my 38 week appointment and my doctor said that I'm 1 Centimeter dilated and my cervix is soft . Most people are upset when they are this far but only 1cm dilated but I'm really happy ! I'm a first time young mom and think that I've really progressed . Last week I wasn't dilated at all . Does this mean I could go into labor before my due date ?

View 2 RepliesAt 38 weeks and 6 days I was checked yesterday for the first time. My doctor seemed so amazed at the fact that my son's head is all the way down but I wasn't too amazed at the horrible pain I had to endure for him to get to my cervix :( Basically my son's head is sitting in front of my cervix. I read stories on women having their cervix pulled to the front during labor and it sounds like it hurts worse than how I felt getting checked and childbirth put together.
Does anyone have either of these or know of someone who does and was able to go into labor naturally, were able to deliver vaginally? Or did it just end in an induction and C-section? If you did deliver vaginally were you able to get pregnant again without big complications? I have this and my doctor wants to induce because I am due tomorrow and I still haven't even softened, but I have a large chance even without inducing that I will have to have a C-section no matter. Every female on my mom's side has it and all had to have C-sections, except my mom who had my brother naturally and should not of and had to be artificially inseminated(sp) with my sister and I because she was not able to get pregnant on her own after.

View 5 RepliesSo I'm 37 +6 and yesterday and today I've been having this pinching feeling what feels like on the inside of my vagina and it gets worse when I walk but if I lay down it goes away for the most part. Like it got so bad a few times It stopped me dead in my tracks but idk what it is. I do have a short cervix btw
View 2 RepliesLong story short I am miserable and ended up in labor and delivery last night at 38 and 4 due to being light headed dizzy nauseous and seeing spots. They checked me and the nurse said my cervix was "extremely posterior" but didn't explain anything about what this could mean. Apparently I am only 1cm dilated and 70% effaced as well. Anyone else been told this or know what it means? Am I not going to be able to go into labor on my own?

View 1 RepliesI'm 37 and 1 day and for about 3 weeks iv had pressure in my cervix but not bad pressure, now it's starting to hurt and feels like her head is coming out! And also iv been having pressure in my bottom and my lower back is really sore like a dull pain... Could this be labour starting soon? Did this happen to anyone else?

View 5 RepliesSo today I had my weekly check up, and I have been having some really bad pains and a lot of pressure. Last week I was still closed and not dilated at all, and I told my Dr about the cramping and sharp pains and pressure I've been having and she checked me. I am 1 cm dilated and it hurt when she went to check me and the baby and I both jumped and I said ouch, and she said sorry I touched his head?! Then she hooked me up to the monitors and I was having contractions. She said if they got any worse to call her and I'll have to go to the hospital. Any advice? I'm sooo uncomfortable and I want him out! I'm in so much pain! It's hurts to sit, lay down, get up, walk!!! If I went into labor do you think he will be.okay since I'm only 36 weeks today?
