I got a breast augmentation almost 2 years ago. I'm 25 weeks pregnant now and am very nervous how bad it will hurt if it will hurt at all after my breast fill with milk considering there's an implant taking up so much room. Does breast feeding ruin them?

I had a breast reduction almost 3 years ago, but the nerves in my right nipple are gone and I cannot feel that nipple at all. It still gets hard so I know it's not dead, but I are worried that I'm not going to be able to breastfeed my daughter.

View 11 RepliesSo I am a breastfeeding mom. My son is 5 and 1/2 months old. I introduced formula for supplementation when he was about 4 and 1/2 months old. When I got pregnant I set a goal of exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months. I only introduced formula due to the fact that my son ate alllll the time and when I would pump I was barely getting an ounce. So he only got formula like before bedtime and when we we're out and about. Now when I pump i get like 5 ounces. Now I am trying to only breastfeed in the morning when he first wakes up and at bedtime. But the reason for this post is because I am trying to find ways to wean my son from breast feeding. I know that it's a process and I don't want to just take it away completely I enjoy the bonding time and the comfort I can give him from it.
View 6 RepliesI have been suffering with this nasty condition for about 12 years , mainly under my breasts but i do have the odd few in my groin and top of legs , i was only given a name this week of the condition as i always thought they were just normal abscess or boils i have large breasts and since having children they are not as pert as they used to be so droopy is the word im prob looking for i just wondered if many ladies suffer on the breasts i have never (touch wood) had one in my armpit i do have one at the moment just under my nipple in the areola area of the breast and am on a 10 day course of antibiotics.
View 2 RepliesI am a young adult and I have huge problems with my teeth now after several years of not having medical coverage and extreme fear of dentists. pretty much all my molars are gone and need to be extracted, but on top of that, I may not even be able to get implants or partials because I have an even bigger issue with my bite.I went to a prosthodontist who told me that there isn't enough space between the top and bottom teeth to put anything there like an implant or even dentures and this is absolutely terrifying. He basically told me that he couldn't help me because he "limits his practice to crowns and bridges" so he told me to go back to my general dentist to ask what they can do with my bite. In the end of the day I didn't get anything out of that visit besides horrific news so my question right now is, can it be possible that I can't even get partials because of my bite? what exactly can be done about this? at the moment I have severe anxiety and fear so I can't sleep or even think because of the news that I got and I'm desperate for some good news. Can anyone please help me understand how I can be treated so i could AT LEAST get dentures if not implants?
View 4 RepliesDoes anyone have any experience of this? I've been reading up on it, and many sources advise against implantation for people with autoimmune conditions. It seems this makes it more likely that the body will reject the implanted titanium screw. I gather it doesn't happen immediately but can cause a problem over the years.
I smashed up my mouth quite comprehensively during a fall nearly thee weeks ago. It looks as if three of the four loosened front teeth are going to tighten up again, but my dentist and I are not sure about the fourth one (a central upper incisor).
Unfortunately, the standard test for tooth death doesn't work in my case, as the pulp cavities in all my teeth are filled with calcifications, and therefore completely insensitive to heat and cold. This was discovered by chance 25 years ago. We therefore have to wait and see. So far, the tooth - the edge of which sustained only a minor chip - hasn't changed colour, but it's still very painful and mobile.
I'm not going to agree to any attempts to stabilise the root by passing through the root canal. Two attempts at doing this in the past 25 years have resulted in dentists eventually giving up after months of trying unsuccessfully to get through the calcifications, following which the remains of the tooth had to be extracted.
My oral surgeon brought up the option of joint replacement surgery for my left jaw joint at my last visit. I have a lot of questions, and he is good at answering them. He apparently does use Biomet and TMJ Concepts, but I wondered if anyone had any recommendations on which to use based on their experience. I have never had jaw surgery. I am worried about the possibility of sensitivity to the metals in the implant, but read at the TMJ Association website that there is a company you can send a blood sample to in order to be tested for reactions to some of the metals in the implant. Also, although the left joint is very deteriorated at this point, my right joint also has severe osteoarthritis as well but has been more stable the last few years. I wondered about having one surgery, and then possibly having to face another within a few years. Would it be better to try and wait in order to have both joints done at once? Although, honestly, I don't know if I will be able to tolerate waiting. I am worried about having to do this again in a few years knowing that the recovery period for the surgery may be a while. It is a little overwhelming to think about. I guess I am wondering about the advantages/disadvantages to the Biomet (stock) versus custom (TMJ Concepts) implants. I know the TMJ Concepts require a waiting period. I also read on their website that the company notes that their implant is particularly useful for someone who has had multiple surgeries in the past (which makes sense to me.) Would the stock joints be likely to fit well enough that they would not change your facial appearance (any more than this has already occurred)?
View 5 RepliesI'm in my mid teens, and earlier on this evening, i noticed that my right breast slightly ached, so i checked it out myself and found a lump, which is not visible on the surface of the skin. The lump is located on the left hand side of the right breast, directly next to and underneath the nipple. The nipple on my left breast is flat, which i got checked out earlier in the year by my doctor. The lump inside my breast feels unmovable, possibly quite large, and aches even when its not touched.
I am also two weeks late for my period, which hasn't occurred before.
I need to get this checker out, however, beforehand, i would like some advice on whether or not it could be premature breast cancer, and whether or not it can be treated. I have also read up on the possible link between breast cancer and infertility.
I have an indention in my left breast,right above my nipple. it's like a hole. I have family history on my mother's side of breast cancer. Besides cancer what else could it be?
View 2 RepliesHey, so breast cancer runs in my family and so I check myself regularly. Lately tho I keep getting an ache in my left breast and sometimes the right one. I have had children so they have changed a little but when I feel them I keep feeling lumps and can't tell if they are normal or not.. Sometimes it is tender to press.. I have noticed also my nipples go a little crusty almost (I am so sorry for that info :-/).. I know I should see a doc but I suffer anxiety badly to the point I can barely leave the house alone and my husband is about to start a new job so he won't be able to come with me.. I am so scared!! I don't want to tell any friends incase it's nothing but then I'm freaking out about going alone esp with my children .
