My aunt is diabetic and she is on Novartis for years. However, she has been lately experiencing some heart problems and this worries me. I would like to know if diabetics with heart problems take Novartis or not.

I have searched online but unable to find something that she can actually eat. After a period of much indulgence at the end of 2015 I am pleased to say I can touch my toes. Having suffered a ruptured soleus on one foot followed by achilles tendonitis on the other, the biggest problem I faced was not being able to run; ironic considering this is how I caused the injuries. Now in the recovery period I have clocked up some distance walking, but have learnt some valuable lessons. Before doing any walking, stretch thoroughly the affected area. On days that you don't walk, stretch as if you were going to walk anyway. Finally, rest. Muscle-tendon units are essentially springs. They work better when they have warmed up, so bouncing or ballistic stretching is counterproductive. Whilst a common problem found during recovery is underestimating the amount of static stretching that is required before exercise, the long period of recovery also leads to side effects of under- and over-using other muscles leading to compensation problems. Stretching therefore needs to be comprehensive and include all muscles in the legs to ensure the recovery process is not a step backwards. Happy New Year to all.

I have been on implanon for 2.5 years. During this time I had more periods than normal. Due to going on holiday I decided that I would ask doctor to help delay in.
I was prescribed 3 weeks of norethisterone and took it three times a day as directed.
I was told my period should come 2/3 days after I finished the course... Although six weeks later I still have no sign of my period and have pregnancy symptoms such as sore breasts, cramping,bloating, hot flushes, increased discharge and fatigue. Have taken a pregnancy test and it is negative.
What is going on. Has anyone else been in this situation. I am worried sick.

Went off pill in Feb I had withdrawal bleed since then nothing up til now just spotting no regular flow no clots . Also had a headache 3days breast hurt. Could this be implantation bleeding and if so how long should I wait to test for pregnancy. Also is implantation bleeding like Brown,and darker red. There is a friends to the spotting.

After my mom passed away I was having trouble sleeping and having tightening in my chest at night when I was alone (I was generally fine out amongst others and at work). My doc prescribed xanax xr, which I took for about a year and a half with no real issues, but I didn't want to feel sedate at work, since I write for a living and have to be "on top of my game." So, I asked if I could switch to regular xanax, just for the home panic attacks, since I never really had anxiety at work. I usually have a drink or two at home after work and never take the xanax when leaving the house. Well, I finished the extended release and started with regular and have passed out on the couch twice in a row. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED, BEFORE. Should I be concerned, or will I build a tolerance?

Naproxen For Patient With High Blood Pressure?
I am currently taking lisinopril 20mg 2x daily and Metoprolol 100mg 2x daily to control my blood pressure. I was have been diagnosed with sciatica which has driven my blood pressure up to 130's/90's in the past week. My question is, my doctor prescribed me Naproxen 500mg to take as needed for sciatic pain. Has anyone had any issues using Naproxen short term and interfering with their blood pressure?

I'm 25 and have been diagnosed with high bp (155/100) 4 months before ,my weight was 72 kg that time with height 5'8'' . I had regular twitching in my right eyes afterwards . Doctor first told me to change my lifestyle and i started exercising in evenings for at least 40 minutes .Started eating oats everyday and reduced my weight to 62 kg in 2 months . I got my tests done (ECG,URINE TEST,Cholesterol test ) but all came clear except little increase in URIC ACID. NOW my BP is 135/90.MY Doctor says i need to take medicines for lifetime as i cannot reduce my bp further. PLEASE HELP ME,i'm really worried to have hbp at this age.Should I go for the medicines or not or keep exercising and managing a good diet.
