Have got my paragard iud removed in August and have taken ovulation test and period is on time with 28 day cycle I'm ovulating I've had a stillborn my 1st pregnancy and I was able to get pregnant with my 2nd without any problems but I'm unable to conceive has anyone else had this problem?
View 1 RepliesI had an abortion when i was 21 years old now that i am 25 i am really to have a baby. My husband and i have been trying now for close to 14 months. I'm really concerned because before my abortion my periods were like clockwork, you could set your watch by them. After my abortion my periods were no longer normal. They were every 33 days one month 14 days apart the next, sometimes not at all. sometimes twice in one month. Every doctor that i've spoke with tells me "it will take sometime for your cycle to get back to normal" How long will it actually take? its been over two years now and my periods are still like this. I have even tried taking birth control pills to help regulate my cycles and nothing seems to help. Which is making it more difficult to conceive because i have no idea when im ovulating, or if i am even ovulating. I have even tried charting my BBT and buying a fertility monitor and Nothing seems to help at all. My husband has even had fertility exams and tests and they are all NORMAL?
View 1 RepliesI had my Nexplanon taken out about 4 months ago and I had a period about 2 months later . It was a normal period for me. Lasted about 5 days and wasn't too heavy and wasn't too light and not a whole lot of cramping which is typical for me as well. I have been trying to conceive so I have been having unprotected sex hoping for some pregnancy symptoms . I figured it would take a while for my body to get back into the swing of things so after I had my first period since Nexplanon I started tracking everything such as ovulation and my fertile days. I am 13 days late and have taken many pregnancy tests and they are all negative. I do not have pregnancy symptoms except the fact my period is late. No nausea or sensitive breasts. But why is my period so late ? I have a little bit of cramping that started on the 12th day my period was late. Could there be a bigger issue or is this normal ?

View 13 RepliesIts been 6yrs since I am married. I have chocolate cyst on my left ovary and its big than it should be. Irrespective of it, we have been trying to conceive, but no luck so far. Actually, we thought of having a baby only by the end of last year. Since its been more than 6 months now without any positive results we consulted a Fertility clinic. The doctor was very good and she prescribed me some medicines and asked me to keep trying for another 6 months. I even did a HSG test and the result was normal. So the doctor advised me against a laparoscopy now for the cyst.
So with some positivity and great hopes I started taking the medicines and its been a month and a half now, but still with no luck. Every month when the symptoms for my periods start showing at least 10 days before my date I get all depressed and hopeless. I end up crying like a baby once I get my periods, upsetting my husband who tries to remain positive all the while.
This anticipation game is killing me deeply inside. Is it normal to take some time once the medication starts? Or is it just me?
I am desperate to have a baby. All of mine and my hubby's friends and relatives who got married after us had babies. We are the only childless couple in our circle. Its given me a lot of inferiority complex lately. I have started avoiding everyone as I cant bear anyone asking me "Guys don't delay and have kids, if you have any problem visit a good Dr." I don't know if its concern or trying to know what's happening in our life. And when strangers ask "you have any child? If No, then- How many years since you are married & why don't you consult any Dr.? Its hurting me a lot. People with kids don't understand the pain I guess.
I am 32 years old and I have 1 child and for awhile i have been trying to get another and i have not been able to conceive ...I should start by telling you that i have been on yasmin for 9 years and i stop taking them for awhile to get pregnant but nothing happened so because of not taking the yasmin my period became off balance and i was put back on them by my doctor. i also had a surgery couple years ago called an umbilical hernia, can this be the cause why i am unable to have another child ? I would like to have another child before I am 40 what should I do ?
View 3 RepliesI had an IUD paragard inserted in the16th of this month and I was feeling terrible " back pain dizziness blurry visions ..." So I tried to remove it myself and I hurt myself I think, and when I told my husband he took me to the ER and they remove it, it was no pain at all, two days after that I had sex and my husband was kinda ruff and when I went to the bathroom I found blood and I'm still bleeding sense.
Is my uterus hurt or had scars and why? Did I have sex too early?
I just want to know why I'm bleeding?
We are trying to conceive baby number 4 i had my implanon removed on the 26th of April, I had a period a week before it was removed then I had another period on the 17t of may exactly 28 days since my last period, that was very very light and only lasted 2 day, I was due for another Period on the 14th of june and it still hasn't arrived I've done tests and im not pregnant, Is it normal to have a 28 day cycle then have an irregular cycles? This is all new to me in the 11 yrs i've been having periods i've ALWAYS been regular 28 day cycles.
View 1 RepliesSo, November 21st 2014, I got the nexplanon implant birth control so that I would be able to be with my partner without any worry of children. It seemed like the perfect decision at the time. Three years from now I will still not be ready most likely and I don't have to remember to take a pill every day or anything. What a dream, right! No. I was very wrong. The nexplanon may work for some people but for me, so far, it has been terrible. I know that it's new chemicals in my body but I've been vomiting non stop. I can't get out of bed anymore and I'm sleep deprived due to mind numbing headaches. I've also been bleeding everyday but that's not really what worries me the most. I can deal with the bleeding but with the vomiting and headaches? No! That's not what I signed up for. So my question is how soon can I get this removed? I have an appointment for a check up on December 4th but will I have to wait for my arm to heal up before they can numb it again and take it out?

View 2 RepliesI'm having trouble to poop for 2 days now and on top of that i have painful hemorrhoids ,every time i feel i wanna poop i go to the bathroom and sit and go through a lot of pain just so the poop go out a little bit and then go in , and all the pain i went through is for nothing , sometimes a little piece come out and the rest disappear !! i'm really desperate and need to solve this before going to the doctor tomorrow with my back full of ... (you know what ) ...i can feel my stomach full of poop ..

View 4 RepliesI am cutting back on drinking and so trying to do things that don't involve alcohol. There has always been a very strong social element to my drinking, in fact this is how I started out as a teenager. I'm OK in situations where drink isn't an issue such as work , education and daytime lunches but leisure in the evening is terrible. I wouldn't have said I lack social skills or confidence but even the thought of seeing a friend I've known for years fills me with such dread I just avoid it. Has anyone else experienced this please?
View 3 RepliesMy surgery went well. Surgery was at 11 and I was discharged at 1:30. They did an endoscopy of my upper GI and all was clear. I am pretty sore in my abdomen area and omg my shoulders are killing me from the gas, and of course I have a sore throat. All in all I'm good...had some soup last night, did fine and I have been juiced today. Already the pain that went through to my back for months is GONE!! I had stones and sludge. I'm so in hopes my reflux will improve, its so bad I get acid in my ears and my mouth stays swollen with a scalloped tong. The worse my Gallbladder got the worse my reflux got.

i've had the implanon for three years, then had it removed. Didn't have another one until two months later and now i've had it in for about six months. i've always found the implanon fantastic and has had no side effects.
But now me and my partner is thinking about having a baby and im arranging for it to be taken out soon.
I never got the implanon for contraception, i had it due to heavy and painful bleeding. ive also had unprotected sex with my previous partner in the past and never got pregnant.
im worried that i might not be able to have kids and want to know is there a way this can be tested? Also once the implanon is out, is there any medications that will help me get pregnant?
I'm 54/female...have a thyroid nodule 4 x 2 1/2 x 2....had a biopsy and it was filled w/fluid and blood.
Results came back today. Unremarkable, hypoplastic, no malignancy.....
Doctor said my TSH is 2.1.
He said I'm on the border of removing or not. He said the 1st ultrasound said it was 4 cm, second said 3.7 cenimeters.
he said that the larger the cyst the less the accuracy for the needle biopsy and said the accuracy is about 50/50
I had gone to the Ears/Nose/Throat about sinus issues and he found this lump.
So, i'm following up with the endocrinologist on the 18th to see what they think.
are there other tests the endo can do to determine my thyroid issues? I'm EXTREMELY tired, have had terribly dry skin, and various other symptoms......chalked up to a busy lifestyle.
Also, is 4 cm the decision factor on whether to take out or not? The ENT said he would be inclined to wait a couple months and then do another ultrasound...but agreed with my wanting an endocrinologist give a second opinion.
Had bad varicose veins for a while seem to be causing me problems of late, can i ask for them to get removed?
View 2 RepliesCan anyone tell me how long it took for the gel packing to "melt away" after the surgery? I don't have an appointment until a month after surgery-which seems unusual after reading other posts. I'm only 5 days post-surgery, but the packing is driving me crazy. I think it is causing a loud whooshing noise whenever I am sitting up. I think it is also making it painful if I lie on my non operated side-as if it is putting extra pressure on the ear drum?

I've become so horny that I want it all the time but my husband is tired all the time and sometimes we can start making love but he gets tired in the middle of it and goes soft(sorry tmi). I love my husband but I have needs too. I just want to crush up a blue pill and put it in his coffee I want it so bad what should I do.
