Stomach Cancer :: Constant Nausea - Lost Quite A Bit Of Weight?

Jul 9, 2014

Most postings here are asking about symptoms of stomach cancer, as we all worry we have got it.  I suppose I worry more because my mother had it.  I have had constant nausea for 3 weeks and loss of appetite for about 3 months.  I have lost quite a bit of weight.

Abdominal Pain :: Constant Binge And Damage To Stomach

Lately I have been eating a lot. I started getting some stomach pains and decided to tone it down a bit. Today, I ate more than I realized, because when I went to bed I woke up with some bad stomach pains. It's not too bad if I'm stationary or am careful with my movemnts, but it hurts more if I move too abruptly. Could I have caused damage to my stomach from my constant binging as of late? If so, is it something that will heal itself as long as I just eat very little?

Alternative Therapies :: Constant Headache / Dizziness And Nausea

I am mildly overweight, have low end of normal blood pressure.  I exercise approximately 5 days a week and walk about 1.5-3 miles a day during work hours --otherwise I have a desk job. I eat primarily whole grains and foods, whole goats milk, and only drink 1-2 times a week and typically not heavily.

I've had a constant headache since September 20, 2015. It started in the middle of the night and increased in severity throughout that month. The pain is at the front of my head varies from a 2-9 typically getting worse throughout the day and into the evening.  Other symptoms include dizziness and nausea, lightheadedness-- sometimes extreme and debilitating.

After 1 month, I went to the doctor who had a MRI done, several blood tests, a nerve block, a hospital DHE treatment, every painkiller and triptan/migraine drug in the book. I went on a course of Phenergan and diclofenac, and also had IV antibiotic in the hospital. I started taking magnesium supplements. I assessed the stressful elements of my life (at home and at work), began meditating, and lowered my overall stress. I did yoga and stretched did neck exercises which both reduced some of the pain. Nothing worked, and they recommended Topamax, but as nothing made a dent before, I decided to question their diagnosis of intractable migraine.

Since then, I had my Nexplanon implant removed (received it July 11th, 2015, removed it November 22, 2015). And started acupuncture. The acupuncture achieved some considerable relief, but after a month of treatment twice a week, I went on a business trip and took charcoal several times during the trip to work with a hangover (I don't drink much). During the end of the trip and the 5 days following it, I didn't have a headache. At the time, I concluded that the acupuncture had worked.

After the headache returned, I started to go through possibilities and took myself off of gluten. After a week, no change in headache. Then I started taking charcoal again after a eureka moment and then went 2 weeks without a headache. Yesterday I forgot to take my charcoal for 28 hours and my headache returned. I'm back on the stuff, and now feel like I'm narrowing in on finding the culprit!

Kidney Stones - Diabetes - Constant Urge To Pee And Nausea

Since last Weds evening, about 5-6 days ago, I felt like I was getting a UTI. Had persistent urge to pee, every 20 mins or so, all night, and sometimes I really had to go and sometimes just a dribble but felt like bladder not empty and I'd pee and immediately feel like I had to go again. Had some burning and general discomfort. I also felt like I might have a yeast infection - I have type 1 diabetes (24 years, am almost 45 yrs old, female) and get them often. So on Thurs symptoms still were there so went to gyno to do a urine sample that they said they'd send for culture. They gave me prescription for antibiotics, which I did not fill till the next morning - on Fri morning, still had frequency to pee and also some on and off left-sided flank pain, some lower back pain, some twinges on and off way low in my urethra area - that was all new. Started antibiotic on Fri. felt a tiny bit of relief but had reaction to Macrobid (sp?) so doc called in Cipro, which I started on Sat. By Monday still no better, was still peeing constantly and having the flank pain and back pain on and off. Went back to gyno who said my urine culture came back clear - no bacteria so this was not a UTI or kidney infection. He did say there was a trace of blood in the sample - but I have not seen any blood in my urine myself. Doc performed a pelvic exam to rule out ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids and all was normal. So he suggested it could be a kidney stone, to see the urologist so that is where I am. Still miserable and peeing constantly.

I have never had kidney stones ever. Today still peeing all the time and some on and off back pain, hip pain and even some mild thigh pain - all both sides although flank pain is more left sided. It all comes and goes and is not excruciating and when my husband had a stone, he was in terrible pain and rushed to ER and ended up passing stone that night.

So here's the weird thing - since Sept I was experiencing upper right stomach pain, right under my ribs, nausea after large or fatty meals, constant burping, on and off constipation. So I had an ultrasound done to check for gallstones by my regular dr - everything was normal. They checked kidneys and no stones showed up on ultrasound. I am scheduled for a HIDA scan for gallbladder next week bc still having those symptoms but this urinary stuff is new. All blood work normal. Upper GI endoscopy normal also.

I am a mess! And I just want answers. Not sure if it's all related or I may be dealing with 2 separate conditions or maybe what I've been experiencing as gallbladder pain has been kidney-related all along.

Do all kidney stones show up on ultrasound or is it possible to still have them and have them not show up? That only a CT scan will catch?

Could the constant peeing still be a UTI/kidney infection without bacteria showing in urine culture?

I now have a yeast infection from the antibiotics and treating it. Could it worsen the peeing problem?

Has anyone ever had kidney stones that showed symptoms like this for a long period of time before the excruciating pain of passing happened? Or could this be a problem w/my kidneys and function? Being type 1 diabetic, I worry about this but all my regular kidney blood tests are always normal - I see doc ever 4 months for that.

Alcohol :: Stomach Cramps And Nausea / Diarrhea?

I have diarrhea/nausea/dry heaves/stomach cramps/sudden urge to have a bowel movement and dizziness almost everyday of my life. Sometimes these symptoms are accompanied by a headache. I also have horrible indigestion and I'm a former alcoholic, I'm wondering if any of these symptoms could have been worsened by alcohol. I just feel like crap, consistently. I don't know what to do because everything I try seems to be ineffective. I can hardly drink water because of my stomach being upset and I have had no appetite for a few good weeks now. I'm also always tired. The severity of my symptoms come and go but always seem to be present.

I've considered that maybe I have IBS or Crohn's disease but I'm unsure due to some of my other symptoms.

GERD (acid Reflux) :: Nausea, Vomiting, Burning In My Stomach

I'm 20 years old and been dealing with really bad acid reflux for about 6 years now. For about a year now i've been on the depo provera shot which has seemed to slow down my flare ups. When this all started i would get sick every time i started my period for me in the morning as soon as i get up. Since the depo shot i've been getting sick every three months right before my next shot. These flare up usually lasted about a week and a half at most(which really sucks cuz it affects my life in every way imaginable). My symptoms when im sick is usually nausea, vomiting, burning in my stomach, burning in my throat, fatigue, sharp lower pains, and sometimes it gets so bad because i'm scared to get sick i have panic attacks. When i was 14 doctors found an ulcer cover 90% of my stomach. That was seen doing a endoscopy. I was still having issues shortly after leaving the hospital, so talked with my doctor and had a laparoscopy scheduled. Did that and they found i had built up scar tissue on my female parts cant remember every detail as its been a long time ago and i'm always sick when they finally want to try something. So anyways they also found a cyst near my belly button. It seemed as if their findings was not a big deal. So down the road still getting sick i had my appendix removed, and that didn't change a thing. I've had numerous ultra sounds, x rays, blood test, cat scans and i'm probably forgetting more. I'm just hoping someone will have a possible answer since i been too more doctor i can count on both my hands and toes and that haven't a clue.. Just to put it out there i am not a liquor drinker, i smoke cigarettes and marijuana. I also do not drink caffeine anymore for the past 3 years basically. !

16 Year Old Female With Dizzy Spells, Nausea And Stomach Pain

hi, I'm a 16 year old active girl. I'm low on iron but take my iron pills and just had surgery for a right femoral hernia repair . but I still have pain in my stomach on the left side. they said I had a displaced spleen after a X-ray then ordered a ultrasound to show nothing wrong, this was about 2 months ago. I also have been getting dizzy spells when I stand or even when I'm sitting, I usually put my hands in front of my face and they disappear and I get weak and numb. twice now I've went totally blind everything went black and my eyes were wide open and I have to catch myself falling when I get weak. it scares me because this second time I went blind it lasted longer. maybe 6-7 seconds.  I get nauseous throughout the day and I used to have vomit come up but in can never vomit completely. I get really sick and vomit just comes up and sits in my throat it's disgusting.  I don't know what's going on and I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions of what I could do or any idea of what this could be?

Alcohol (binge Drinking) - Nausea, Stomach Pain And Blood In Stools

I'm a 26 year old male... I consumed large amounts of alcohol at age 21 (spiced rum) being ignorant at that age I ignored all of the health problems it was causing me. Besides the normal hangover I experienced stomach pain, lots of constipation, and diarrhea. I only stayed on that binge for a few months, but even 5 years later I'm having possibly serious problems.

1. Nausea! It tapered off the last couple years, but it was bad.... really bad. All day everyday. Now it's more manageable. The worst part is early morning. When I start to feel hungry I just feel like vomiting.

2. Blood in stool... Also has been getting better. Only have blood about once a month.

3. Sore eyes and dizziness.. I feel this one the most (everyday most of the day). It's hard to explain but the best way I can put it, it's really hard to focus my eyes on something. If I'm looking at someone talking to be or focusing on the road I start to feel dizzy and almost disoriented.

Treatment: I saw my doctor many times as well as others. I've had scans, endoscopies, and no one has narrowed down much. The scans came back good, blood is good, the first endoscopy showed I had h. Pylori. I took all the antibiotics (helped temporary make me feel better) but back to the same old.

Thinking of coming off HRT, Has anyone else decided to ditch the HRT?

Prostate Cancer :: Unexpected Weight Loss During Hormone Therapy

My 65 yr old brother was diagnosed with PC last December and has been receiving hormone therapy injections since then.

He recently commented that he’d lost about a stone in weight since January and I started worrying.  Since doing some research on the net, I’m still worried as I can only find weight gain mentioned  as a common side effect of this therapy.

The only mention of weight loss is in connection with other symptoms such as loss of appetite due to sickness, bone pain etc in more advanced cancer.  So far he hasn’t had any of those and his only symptoms, apart from a few hot flushes, are an increased need to pee and taking longer to do so.  He hasn’t been on a strict diet and, although he’s been more careful in what he eats for several years, he hasn’t been able to shift much weight until now.  He still has a healthy appetite.

I don’t know whether we’re worrying unnecessarily or whether he should have a word with the doctor.

Chills, Nausea, Constant Pelvic Pain - Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?

A little background information about myself: 23 y/o female, diagnosed with PCOS at 19, suffer from multiple UTIs and kidney infections each year.

Starting in about September, intercourse would be incredibly uncomfortable and painful, causing me to cramp severely after and bleed. These symptoms became worse and worse, and I began spotting between my periods. So, after meeting with my GYN in October and her suspecting cervicitis (inflamed cervix), I had an appointment beginning of December for a colposcopy and cervical biopsy. Upon touching my cervix with a q-tip it bled out and was EXTREMELY sore to touch. Waiting on further consultation from the results, but according to my GP: pre cervical cancer cells, uterine lining infection and cervical infection.

I have now been on 2 rounds of different antibiotics with no improvement, I believe I am getting worse. Ever since the biopsy, I have bled EVERY DAY FOR SEVEN WEEKS! I have a fever that comes and goes, chills, nausea, constant pelvic pain and am extremely tired all the time.

I have been researching (bad idea I know) what could be causing all these symptoms and am thinking PID or uterine fibroids? Any advice out there?!

Nausea :: Past Few Months, Random Nausea Lasts A Day Or Two

Over the last few months I've been randomly getting nauseated. It usually lasts a day or two and only has actually caused me to vomit a few times. However recently it has become more severe, and more common and even more recently has become paired with an uncomfortable dizziness and weakness in my legs. My mother believed it was morning sickness so I took a pregnancy test which proved negative and haven't missed any periods in the 3 months since I was last sexually active so I'm fairly certain I am not pregnant.
