Cataflam And Sirdalud Works Same?

Is it possible that I need two medications for the same thing? I had spine injury last month and was at the hospital for some time. When I was leaving the hospital they (the doctors) gave me Cataflam and Sirdalud. For what do I need these medications? Couldn't they give me only one?

Anaesthetic Really Works For Colonoscopy?

I'm having a first colonoscopy soon, and am concerned at the pain aspect, Doctors tell me it is virtually pain free, and I have a history of poor reactions to anaesthetics with previous hospital procedures and Dentists, where they just don't work, anybody else have this problem and how do you overcome it.

I have always told the Doctors who tend to just ignore what I say, I have to assume that any pain relief I get will not work until much later in the day, is this manageable?

Sertraline Works With The Right Dosage

For nearly 3yrs I was on sertraline, at the beginning it was awful. Dizziness, lack of interest, mood swings tired loss of appetite throwing up headaches and so on. I started at 25mg till we found the right dosage for me and that was 150mg. At this stage I was ok no anxiety, no panic attacks no fear no suicidal thoughts none of what I felt before. All of that was gone. I was me again. I felt good. When I started I was 58kg went down to 42kg had to wear kids cloths. Once I found the right dosage and started feeling good again I had everything back including my weight. Last year because I was feeling good I decided to stop it. My Gp told me it was too soon but I heard so much about the tablets I just wanted to stop them.

After a few weeks I realised was to soon and asked my Gp to put me back on them. So I'm back on them and this time I went up very quickly. I started straight at 50mg then 100 then 150 and back to 200 mg. I promise you it's worth going through all this side effects because after you will feel good again. This is my positive story to all of you. I really really hope it works for all of you as it did for me.

Heroin :: Does Thomas Recipe Works?

I'm really scared to try detox again but I'm going to try the Thomas recipe. I just don't know how its going to work as its both me and my husband doing it at the same time. We have been on heroin for over a year now and I swear this stuff is the devil. We at one time were up to 2 grams a day a piece now we are at between a gram to a half a day between both of us. Its time! If not one of us are going to die. I've heard the Thomas recipe is good but its the Valium part. We don't want any Rx drugs at all and Tylenol pm,s don't work for him. Maybe nyquil?

Hypnosis To Quit Smoking Works?

So my friend has heard about a guy who gave up smoking after single visit to a doctor. He said that he was hypnotized and when he woke up he felt like he can't smoke anymore. I am really puzzled by this. I think its just a rip off. I don't know, it sounds too good and to easy to be true. Could it be?
Has anyone heard of anyone else getting hypnosis to  help prevent smoking? Maybe its just a placebo effect, i mean you already know that you should quit smoking after the hypnosis and maybe that's why he felt like he does not want to smoke anymore. That and the fact that he paid for that session.

Erectile Dysfunction :: Cialis Works Well For Me

I am a 57 year old triathlete, having completed 2 Ironman competitions in the last 2 years. One would think the my fitness would help in the bedroom. Not! As I've aged I've noticed my erections getting weaker. Over the last 2 months they were none existent. I would orgasm when my wife would give me manual stimulation and the ejaculate would just ooze out of my flaccid penis. But no "rock hard" erection & certainly no ejaculation. I could not get hard enough to penetrate. Twelve years ago I had severe atrial fibrillation, which even caused 2 flat lining episodes is an ER. I had ablation surgery which corrected the problem. Yet, I feared taking erection causing stimulants because I didn't want to mess with heart rate. After 2 months of no stiffness to speak of, I took my doctor's advice and had filled the prescription for 5mg Cialis, daily dose. I took it yesterday, Christmas Eve, for the first time, about 3 hours before we opened our gifts. I'm not so sure how long one has to take this medicine to show an improvement, but last night, about 5 hours after taking my first pill, I got the best Christmas gift a man can get who's been suffering with ED. The Christmas package was delivered. We were both smiling. I'm sold on Cialis. My heart rate is fine and I have only a very, very slight stuffy nose. I can deal with that.

General :: Nausea And Vomiting - Gallbladder Taken Out But Nothing Works

I'm a 19 year old female. In May 2013 I gradually started to become nauseous. It got worse and by June 2013 I was throwing up almost daily. I saw a gastroenterologist who (in November 2013) found celiac disease through an upper endoscopy. I started eating gluten free but the nausea and vomiting continued. Since then, he's done a gastric emptying test, results were normal. I had a HIDA scan of my gallbladder which showed it didn't contract normally. I then had an ultrasound of my gallbladder, which showed tons of stones. Last month, I got my gallbladder taken out. (because my gastroenterologist was sure that was the cause of nausea and vomiting) The first couple days after surgery I felt no nausea, but by the 4th day post surgery, I had the exact same nausea and vomiting I had before. Does anybody have ANY idea what could be causing this? Or what tests I could ask my gastroenterologist to run when I see him next? And before anybody asks, I'm not pregnant.

Molluscum Contagiosum :: Fucidin H Cream Works

Hi, I have a 7 years old daughter who had been suffering with Mollescum Contagiosum for 18 months. Over that time I have searched the net trying to find a cure but to no avail. (I did try the Apple Cider Vinegar) HOWEVER, I contracted the virus on my toe and thought I would try and use Fucidin H cream (an anti fungal cream my son had been prescribed previously for a sore toe) and it cleared the Mollescum C up in a week. I wanted to try this on my daughter as she had many spots on her arm and chest area. I first went to my GP to ask to be referred to a dermatologist but was told that she could only be referred after having the condition for three years! I then told him about the success I had about using the Fucidin H and was it safe to try on my daughter. He said it was perfectly safe but had not heard that is had been used in treating Mollescum Contagiosum. I then went on to apply the cream to my daughter twice a day and after 3 weeks all the spots completely went and nothing has reappeared over the last month! It has made her life so much better and I hope this treatment gives relief to other sufferers of this condition.

Molluscum Contagiosum :: RETIN A Micro Gel 0.8% Works

Hello I live in the U.S. and I have been reading these discussions for information because I have Molluscum.  I have had it since I was 25 and I'm now 31.  I was initially told by a doctor the classic " it will go away on it's own in 6 months to a year.  Don't touch them, pick them or put anything but soap and water on them."  I went to another doctor a year later and a biopsy was done on one of the lesions to confirm it was actually molluscum because all the previous doc did was look at them.  Well the test came back positive...of course.  She also said "they will go away."  well it has been six years and I still have them and they have spread.  I have them on my arms, back, buttocks and I have also had them on my face.  It has been devastating to my self esteem and my relationship with my fiance.  I recently went to a dermatologist and was prescribed RETIN A micro gel 0.8%.  I've been using it for 2 weeks and it seems to be working but time will tell if they return to those spots.  It's terrible because even though they leave one spot they WILL return somewhere else.  Why isn't there a way to attack the virus from the inside like with the herpes virus? I encourage you all to not take "no" for an answer from your doctor.  make them give you something to treat the molluscum.  If you do decide to dig these things out yourself, which seems to be just as effective as burning them, make sure you wash your hands well and cover the site after.  I recently found some evidence of colloidal silver being effective on viruses and bacteria.  I found some colloidal silver on amazon and I ordered it.  I will update everyone soon and let you know if it has worked.  Thank you for listening.

Quinine For Leg Cramps Works - 200 Mg Tablet Every Other Night

I was having leg cramps in calf and thigh 2 to 3 times nightly. It took 10 to 15 minutes of walking around and massaging for relief. Obviously becoming sleep deprived. My doctor started me on 200 mg quinine nightly, increasing to 300 mg if necessary. Within days my muscle cramps diminished. At the end of one month they were gone. The immediate relief was astonishing. I have been on quinine for over a year now. As a preventive dose, I take one 200 mg tablet every other night which seems to be sufficient. If I get an occasional cramp, I take the tablets every night for a few days.

I tried drinking quinine water (Schweppes tonic carbonated water) as a substitute - but was unable to drink that much carbonated water daily. Wasn't able to try it long enough to see if it would help by itself. It had worked for a friend of mine who wanted me to try it.

I have had no side effects from the quinine. I would highly recommend trying quinine if you are having night cramps.
