Venlafaxine 75mg And Propranolol 10mg Together?

Anybody take these medicines together? I was prescribed the Beta blockers today to help anxiety symptoms but don't see much difference! I have been taking the Venlafaxine 75mg now for three weeks alongside my Mirtazapine 30mg which I take at night! My depression has lifted a lot since starting the Venlafaxine it has took me out of the dark hole I was in! But now I'm feeling anxious and have headaches which feels like a lot of pressure in my head! I just feel so weird! And have butterflies in my stomach which kicks off the anxiety feeling in my chest! I'm going to see psychiatrist again tomorrow regarding this! I don't want to come off the Venlafaxine as it has helped my depression so much and has made me feel me again! I just want this anxiety and the weird feeling to go away! I'm wondering if an increase in dosage would help this and make the side effects disappear!

Depression :: Venlafaxine 75mg - Withdrawl Symptoms?

I've been on Venlafaxine for the last few months now.  I've just moved to a new city and I can't find my prescription anywhere, and trying to find a new doctor is rather difficult with a limited income.  Can anyone tell me what adverse effects I will suffer without these?  It's been 2 days since my last pill and I've started throwing up this morning.  Is this from not being on them?

Anxiety :: Venlafaxine 75 Mg With Mirtazapine 30 Mg

Hi I have been on Mirtazapine 30 mg and Venlafaxine 75mg now for a good few weeks with the Venlafaxine being introduced 4 weeks ago! Initially when I was on the Mirtazapine alone I didn't see any difference in my mood or anxiety but once the Venlafaxine was added into the regime I felt great and back to my normal self was so happy with zero anxiety! However the past week now I have had the anxiety come back and the low mood also and I can feel myself going back to the way I was before the Venlafaxine was added in! I have had a terrible weekend with crippling anxiety and have had to take diazepam which I haven't done in a long time! Do you think I would benefit from an increase in dosage of the Venlafaxine? As I am so desperate because this drug made me back to who I once was but I can slowly feel myself slipping away!! I have just left a voicemail on my psychiatrists telephone number asking can I be seen tomorrow regarding my medication! I'm not sure whether the dose I am now on is low and I would benefit from an increase? I am desperate you see as I have a 10 week old son and I am unable to look after him when feeling like this my mother has had to take him overnight for me!

Anxiety :: Coming Off Venlafaxine 75 Mg (timed Release)

Been on Venlafaxine 75 mg timed release tablets for about two years. I have waited til the spring to try to come off as it's sunnier and better time of year to do it. Had mild depression for two years and then had some nasty panic attacks when I moved house two years ago. In the UK we have the normal tablet and then the timed release tablet. I am trying to come off by using the 37.5mg timed release in the morning then the 37.5mg normal tablet with 10%  (7.5 mg) chopped in the evening, for a starter. I previously tried going one day on the 37.5 and then the 75mg and try to alternate but this seemed too big a drop for me. Funny now as I feel a bit more snappy and vulnerable with this tiny 10% reduction. I was hoping that this small reduction wouldn't be noticed and I could slowly withdraw from this drug.

Severe Depression And Anxiety - Sertraline , Mirtazapine And Now Venlafaxine

i had an assessment after struggling with depression and anxiety for yrs , finally went back on ADs just before xmas, after trying sertraline , mirtazapine i'm now on venlafaxine , over the last 6 weeks it's increased to 225mg. My assessment came out with a high score in the range of severe depression and anxiety . I have previously had time off work due to this , however i'm doing my best to stay at work as i'm only p/t and work with some fab ppl . However i feel like everything is getting too much again , i had gp last wk and i just said all was ok , it wasn't but my child was in the room so couldn't speak ,  Also had my first cbt session today a ' panic workshop ' one , even with them discussing panic attacks makes me feel edgy and haven't been able to shake the feeling off since , i feel like i'm fighting a losing battle and just cant cope. So much has gone on recently , 7yr relationship breakdown / ended . Problems with child behavior , time off work last yr for an op that didn't go to plan ( should of been day surgery - 3 days in hospital , 7.5 wks off work ) moving house , family disagreements ( not to do with me but get dragged in ) Just so much - i don't know what to do , i feel like a whinge if i go back to gp again.

Started ven  weeks ago as though i may get an improvement. All its done is make me ill. Now starting to taper. Anyone cut/split etc ven slow release? The experts say not to. I am only on 37.5 but i seem to be very sensitive to it indeed. I know there is ven liquid  but seems to be diff to source + quite honestly it is easier shaving off part of a pill.

Venlafaxine :: Venlafaxine XL - Less Side Effects

I've been on it for years and it's been brilliant. I was tired all the time and it gave me new energy.

The downside is that if you miss a couple of doses the withdrawal side-effects are quite horrendous. Venlafaxine XL (time released ones) are gentler with the side effects than the ordinary ones.

They've definitely worked for me.

Dosulepin :: 75mg - Spaced Out

I've been on 75mg of dothiepin for 1 & a half weeks due to anxiety & mild depression. The intense anxiety (the sickness,feelings of going mad,inability to sleep,shaking) has gone with these tablets, but I'm feeling very spaced out and like I'm dreaming everything. Don't know whether it's the tablets or the anxiety causing it. I've seen a vast improvement in the last week, but I'm scared the tablets are making me feel like I've got someone else's brain & eyes in my head, very weird feeling! Anyone have the same feelings with it?

Sertraline :: Much Difference Between 75mg And 100mg?

I'm on my 9th week of sert (started on 25mg, then 50, now 75) and am just wondering whether to increase to 100mg or not. I'm finding it so hard to determine whether or not I'm better on them. I went to a concert at the weekend and my thoughts were all about anxiety, how I was feeling, etc thru the whole thing. It was a bday present for my husband so I forced myself to stay but eventually left with about 4 songs to go.

So I am kind of left thinking, how can any tablet stop me thinking about any particular subject ie. anxiety? I know it's about boosting serotonin but the overthinking can't be helped surely? I am going to counselling but that seems more focused on dealing with panic attacks, whereas in all honesty, I feel it was the sert that caused my first pa.

Sorry to go on, it's just that it was such a huge decision for me to even take sert in the first place and then an even harder call to stick with it thru all the side effects and now I'm feeling, "for what"? I'm so happy for those who say they feel amazing on it, truly I am, I just want that feeling too.

Arthritis :: Enbrel 75mg Per Week? Optimal Dosage?

Is anyone else out there taking Enbrel 75mg per week?

For years, my doctor has had me on three 25mg injections per week. I know that the recommended dose is 50 mg per week, and I know that studies by Amgen showed most people got no added benefit from the larger dose. But I also know that for a very small group of us, the larger dose is what's needed (out of all my doctor's patients, he said only 4 responded to the higher dose, and responded well).

After years of paying, my insurance company now has a problem with this. Which puts me in a situation where I risk the stability of my RA or pay an enormous bill.

So, I'm just wondering how many others are like me, responders to the higher dose? And if anyone has found a cheaper source of Enbrel (besides the Enbrel Assistance program which is like a catch-22 -- they only help on insured Enbrel, not Enbrel outside what insurance covers.

Venlafaxine :: Getting Off After 10 Years

I have read a lot of entries about this drug, and I do agree with many that at first it did its job.  To pout you in the picture I have been on 225 mg for 25 years now and like some have been very apprehensive about stopping due to extreme withdrawal.

Yes some may criticise my deciding to go cold turkey, but I do feel that venlafaxine is like any addictive drug with one exception, it is fear of withdrawal that stops many from even trying.  I am now on my 5th day and yes the symptoms are shocking in more ways than one (srry bout pun).  My reason to decide is simple.. Do I need venlafaxine anymore?  Simple answer No!  I just got to the comfort and routine of taking it every day.  Don't get me wrong cold turkey is not necessarily the right way unless you have an iron constitution, and willpower.  I am no expert so please do not take all I say as gospel.

Whilst the withdrawal is bad at the moment, I have noticed a clarity in my mind growing as time goes by, it almost as if I a getting part of myself back and it is no longer negative or suicidal as of many years ago that I lost to venlafaxine (My faith is a big part of this too.).

So what is happening this early in cold turkey?  Brain zaps like mad I also have slight nausea, I have decided to consult my GP to request some anti withdrawal medicine I am aware that this prob will not stop the zaps etc but poss offer a cushion.  Maybe I am stubborn but I will not do the weaning off method, I have stopped illegal drugs and alcohol without weaning off, and even though venlafaxine is legal, for myself would be like having dope or a drink to solve the problems, but in fact I consider doing that a step backwards.  I would be very interested in any one especially who did cold turkey to share what they found out with me, and of course any other comments you may have.
