Acne And Black Hairs On Chin, Long Menstrual Cycles

Is it normal for menstrual cycles to be 36-59 days in length? For the past year this is what I've been dealing with, sometimes I will get a couple months where my cycle is 28 days but then the next 2 or 3 months it's out of whack again.
I've also got acne all over my chin, lower cheeks, and jawline. Before I started my period at age 13 I had perfect, almost porcelain skin. In the past year it's gone from bad to worse.
On my chin and neck I keep getting coarse black stray hairs that I have to constantly pluck. I've also got hair all over my neck that is so long I have to shave it. Is this "normal" for some women?
I also have those same black hairs on my breasts and chest area, not really patches but just random black hairs all over that I have to pluck (OUCH!).
My weight is also a problem, I was a small child but when became a teenager I started putting on weight, I am currently 5'1" and 160 lbs. Last June I put on about 15lbs in a week and a half without doing anything differently. I have worked out, tried to eat right and nothing will help me lose the weight.
I made an appointment with my doctor to address these issues but I just want to know, am I crazy? Are these things that happen to everyone or could there be something wrong with me? I don't want to go to his office and be looked at like a hypochondriac.

Lately my periods have become increasingly strange. (I'm 22).
They have always been irregular (23-34) day cycles, 4-7 days long and moderately heavy but not horrible.
The past few months they have been alternating between 19 day cycles and 44+ day cycles.
Periods from the long ones start of so heavy that soak through tampons because I can't keep up with changing them for the first 2-3 days. I'm dizzy, nauseated, I can barely breathe when I stand up and almost black out even just walking around sometimes, intense migraines, indigestion, constipation, need to pee all night and my entire pelvis hurts, my hips hurt and pain shoots down both legs. My lower back aches but not horribly until after my period is over.
The short cycle is such a light period I barely have any blood on a tampon after 12 hours for the first 4-5 days and that's it, occasionally it will end in a single day of heavy bleeding and then be over. The pain is still there 2 weeks before these periods and is so bad in my hips that just standing or sitting for too long makes it worse, same with laying face down. I have intermittent pains in my left pelvis. I haven't been able to get pregnant in 2 1/2 years after having a child 6 years ago without a problem.
I had a pelvic exam done and my gyno said my uterus was enlarged and ordered an ultrasound. I had my hormones tested but they looked normal and I'm so confused by this. I had a csection 6 years ago could this be the cause of it since it doesn't seem to be hormonal?

17(almost 18)y/girl. I have a (BIG) problem with acne. My forehead and my cheeks look great, but my nose, the area under my nose and especially my chin look awful. I tried several things, but my pimples don't disappear. When a pimple almost disappeared another 1 or 2 appear. My confidence is low because of this and I sometimes I'm depressed because of it.
Maybe it's that my T zone is kind of oily, but my cheeks are normal. Like during the day I can feel that the T zone is oily, especially the chin.
I don't know what to do anymore. I am tired of concealer and foundation.

I am 31 and have been having ugly breakouts around my neck, chin and now jawline for the past 2.5 years. They appear to start with a blocked blackhead then erupt into a throbbing cystic lump. Sometimes they're squeezable and I always squeeze. I also lead quite a stressful life, moving a lot and not having any real stability. But I try to be positive, this just makes me feel self-conscious... I always had minor acne in the normal places. I even get a few on my back, they're located on my outer shoulders and shoulder blades these days, rather than the center of my back where they used to be. It's strange getting acne in new places.
The chin/jaw/neck ones have got worse and worse recently and I wonder whether they're to do with hormonal reasons and whether I should try progesterone cream for my face and neck, I know to alternate areas with the dosage. Is it worth trying? I also wondering if I'm washing my face enough? I usually do a bit of exercise each day and will wear a bit of makeup but generally wash my face twice daily, although sometimes I pass-out with my makeup on! Healthy otherwise. Oh, I do consume an awful lot of (non-dairy) chocolate though...

Okay, so what is exactly is this? I've had it for a year and a half and it's really getting on my nerves. I have problems with dry skin, so maybe this is the result of me not getting enough moisture? Could it be melasma? Anyway here are some pictures :I'm pretty sure it's not melasma, but then again that's coming from the person that doesn't know what's going on with her face. Can someone please tell me what this brown anathema occupying my face is?! Or the cause of it?

I have had normal regular periods for almost ten years. Every month I will be on for around five days, bleeding normally with normal red blood. I have been on the pill on and off for about 4 years. Once I stop the pill for my seven day break, I usually come on two days after.
The past couple of months it has taken me about four days to come on and when I do I am not really bleeding, I am only really bleeding as I actually go to the toilet and when I do it is thick dark brown clots. I am not leaking normal blood if that makes sense?
Is this normal or should I have it checked out?

I've been plagued by acne all my life. I have now discovered (age 35) that Oxytetracycline is a wonder drug and really does work (2 tablets 2x daily) with differin gel. The only thing is.... how long can I take it for. I've been on it 1 year now, with no side effects. Can I take it indefinitely? Anyone know?

I have been using a lotion called dalacin t topical lotion from about october 2007, it really improved the big spots i used to get on my back, and it helped my face a little, but not much.So i went back to the doctors and she prescribed me with Oxytetracycline, which i take 2 tablets 2 times a day, so in total 4 a day. I have been on them for a month on this monday coming up (18th), that will then be a month, i think the doctor told me they would take about 3 weeks to a month to have a visual effect, im just hoping they do work! how has everyone's experience been with this medication? how long did it take for it to start working?

I need to adjust my thyroid supplement therapy. I won't be able to see any of my doctors (GP, gynecologist, endocrinologist) for at least a month. Waiting list is that long.
I have PCOS and Hashimoto's (treated with T4 and T3). My periods have been regular (between 28 and 35 days) since I was 12. However, this month I had my period barely three weeks after the last one. It usually lasts for about 5 days, however today's my 7th day and it doesn't look as if it's going to stop. I've seen my gynecologist twice this august, and all the results were fine.
It's certainly due to overmedication. My endo increased the dosage of my medication 4 months ago. Since then, I tested my TSH and got bad result - 0,1.
She has decreased my dose since, but the result remains the same - 0,1. I'm aware that I need professional help, but I must do something. I can't continue my therapy like this. Any advice on how to decrease the dosage from 50 mg levothyroxine (T3) and 50 mg euthyral (T4 and T3) would save me.

I am normally extremely fertile. I have been on the depo shot for only two cycles. Due to having two kids back to back i needed a small break. Its been a month i have been off. The ovulation strips show a faint line for a day or two then disappears. I'm on my second bottle of strips now. I have had 5 occasions of spotting ranging from bright red to dark brown, and some have had clots. I have also had two occasions of mild pain and cramping around my ovaries but nothing yet. I have been taking prenatal pills for a month and started maca root pills for a week now. My mother went through the change in her mid thirties and i'm currently 34. I really want to try to have this last baby we want to complete our family before or around my 35th birthday so that i don't have any problems health wise. I've been online looking at numerous ways to jump start ovulation, but i'm sure my doc wont give me clomid. Is there anything i can do to help it along?

I've noticed that I've been losing eyebrow hair as well as eyelash hairs recently. It became apparent after the first couple of weeks of college. It might be due to poor diet. I used to pull on them several months ago but I stopped that habit long ago. I've also noticed that the hair on my upper leg is "breaking". I noticed that a lot my hair was "cut" or gone. I can see new hairs growing on my leg but I'm worried about whether or not I might have a health condition.

i believe that my daughter who is 9 yrs old has this condition and has been living with it since she was 4 of 5 yrs old.It started with mood swings which i just put down to a bad temper,how wrong was i when the breasts and pubic hair then started to appear.Until 12 1 08 i just thought my daughter was one of the unlucky few that had just started to develop early,but i saw a programme about prococious puberty and realised that my she has more than likely have this condition.Now my worries are for her childhood being no longer as child like as it is for her friends.I am also worried it may give children reason to bully her as it is so perfectly obvious that she is physically and mentally different to others.Unfortunetly we don't know of any one else with this condition so have nobody that understands,my daughter doesn't seem concerned about the changes tha are happening to her so i'm trying to be the same but it's difficult.She is far to young to be going through this.If there is any one that knows what it's like either as parent or was a youngster with the same please get in touch via this space. thanks.

I am 16. Female. Never done anything sexual so i am 100% sure this is not a std or anything of the sorts. SO, i started to shave young (pubic hairs..bikini line, vaginal area) at 12 or 13. And ever nice i started i would get these in grown hairs. I am half black - so i guess i am prone to that (curly hair growing inwards). But now almost my entirety of my inner thighs are covered with these dark marks and scars. And too many ingrown hairs. I am too embarrassed to go swimming, I never wear shorts because you can see them. Also I have these sick pimples down there... Waxing - - the scars are still there! When i was younger - i was dumb enough to pick at them and.. well it is just getting worse over the years. !

For those of you who have already had joint replacements, I am curious if the surgery resulted in any improvement in chin recession, if you experienced that as a result of your joint problems. Also, did anyone have any other procedures to treat chin recession that resulted in improvement.
