Menstruation :: Extremely Light Periods For The Past 2 Months
I have had extremely light periods for the past 2 months. They have always been very predictable. Every 28 days lasting 5 to 6 days. Last month, it was 2 days early, light flow for 1 half day, spotting before and after for a day. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. This month.. All day yesterday (26 days), I had blood (red/pink) when wiping but not all the time and had small blood stains on my panties at the end of the day. This morning, there's no blood. Same as last month. My weight is not a problem and I haven't changed my diet. I am not under any more stress than usual. Why the unusual period?

For the second month I am experiencing abnormal menstrual pain. the area of both my ovaries hurt ... I took some painkiller to stop the pain and it helped, but usually this is not the case with me. Usually I feel pain the first 2 hours when I get period, and the pain is not so strong... I just have to lay down and I feel better. But for the past two months, the pain so strong I had to take painkillers and it is lasting more than 3 days. What does that mean?

I am a 21 year old girl who has struggled with recurring yeast infections for the past 3 years. They would come every 4-6 months and I'd treat them and they'd go away for the time and come back. Well I had to take penicillin for strep throat 2 months ago and guess who got a lovely yeast infection? Even taking a diflucan with the antibiotics it still came, so yes I've had a yeast infection for almost 3 months straight. I've give to planned parenthood several times, one doctor says it's yeast the next says it's BV and now this doctor says it's both! Of course they send me home with metrogel and a diflucan even though that hasn't helped. I'm going to do the treatment knowing it's not going to cure it, there's some type of hope right? I need some support from other ladies dealing with this. I've struggled with depression and this is intensifying it. I feel hopeless, I can't have sex and I'm a mess. My boyfriend is completely understanding, but ya no sex isn't the funnest thing. I've also been doing the yeast diet, cut sugars out, no bread, no alcohol, pretty much nothing. I'm taking probiotics, eating yogurt, wearing cotton undies, wearing nothing but dresses at night. I just really really need somebody to tell me what helps them get through this, I wanna cry plenty of times throughout the day because this is so miserable.

I have had hives for the past 2 years. They used to come and go but for the past 6 months or so they have been a daily part of my life. My skin feels like its crawling at all times, especially my arms. I have had one doctor appointment after another and had allergy testing done 3 weeks ago. No allergies. My blood work came back "normal". My thyroid TSH level is in normal range but my FREE T4 is low . Doctor just said retest in 6 weeks. I have been extremely achy for the past 2 months and tired beyond belief. Pushing myself through every day. My feet hurt so much, I do all I can to stay off of them and go nowhere. I must be retaining water because my feet and toes look very puffy. I feel like I have been hit by a bus every day. The only relief I get from hives is putting ice packs on me or stand in a cold shower. Its all enough to make me believe I am crazy. The chronic hives make me wonder if its something to do with my immune system ? but why isnt Dr. picking up on that ? I have noticed if I take anything, medication wise, the hives get worse. I just want to feel better and not like I am 150 years old... has anyone out there experienced anything like this ?

56 and my last period was 17 months ago. I remember as I was away on holiday and it was really heavy but nothing since. It's been really lovely not having to worry about pads and tampons. Then about 2 weeks ago got really tender breasts like I used to but not the old low feeling etc. Yesterday a period started , at the moment not heavy more spotting really. Am guessing I need to go to GP but am thinking this might just be a last hooray so to speak. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Over the last few months I've been randomly getting nauseated. It usually lasts a day or two and only has actually caused me to vomit a few times. However recently it has become more severe, and more common and even more recently has become paired with an uncomfortable dizziness and weakness in my legs. My mother believed it was morning sickness so I took a pregnancy test which proved negative and haven't missed any periods in the 3 months since I was last sexually active so I'm fairly certain I am not pregnant.

It seemed that my period was ending, and later that night I was with my boyfriend. We usually kiss and fool around. I'm a virgin so we don't usually do much. I've been experiencing some symptoms of what might be pregnancy since the last time I had unprotected sex: fatigue (for the past couple of days I've slept for most of the day), nausea, weakness, forgetfulness, night sweats/hot flashes, mild cramping/discomfort in my abdominal area, moodiness, and sensitivity to smell.
But I had what I thought was my period last week. It came almost a week earlier than it was supposed to, and it wasn't like my normal period. It was lighter, but heavier than just spotting.
When I bled last week I figured it meant that I hadn't gotten pregnant. But then I read about breakthrough bleeding in pregnancy and I'm wondering if what I thought were unrelated events before are all from changes in hormones.
I'm thinking about taking a home pregnancy test. But if I were pregnant and I had breakthrough bleeding, if my hormones weren't high enough last week to stop my menstruation, would they be high enough to test positive now? Should I wait for a missed period?

Went on Levlen 9 months ago after breastfeeding my 2nd child. Since being on it have had very light bleeding, brown discharge and light cramping in between periods every month. It usually happens when I have been taking the active tablets for 2 weeks and lasts a day or 2. Mostly only see it when wiping.
Had a pap smear approx 6 months ago. Also had ovarian ultrasound around the same time for anther issue which was clear. Recently have also had a blood test and thyroid etc is fine. However I am concerned why this is happening. I have been on levlen many times in the past and its never happened before. I have also never had any issues with my period and am always very regular.
I'm starting to get worried and can't get into my regular dr until late jan as she is on holidays.
Does this sound serious or is there a reason it may be occurring?

My last period was 12/12/2015. I have been using period tracker app since August to track my periods and ovulation. I ovulated on 12/26/2015. My fiance and I dtd on the day I was ovulating as well as a few other times. My period was due 1/9/2016 but I missed it. I am 3 days late. On the day my period was due when I went to the bathroom and wiped there was a tiny pink dot and a tiny brown dot and that was it. In the following two days there was nothing. At the end of day three of my missed period I had a little more spotting but not enough for a tampon and it wasn't enough to worry about staining my pants or underwear. Early morning of what would be the 4th day of my missed period I am period cramps. But when I went to the bathroom there was a couple of stains on my bed pants but no blood clots and it is pink not red. I took some Midol and the cramps are better now but I am so confused on what is going on. Anyone else experience this or can shed some light.

So I have a question about taking the pill half an hour late. Is it normal to get anywhere from spotting to your actual period a few days after taking the pill half an hour late?
I'm 20 and have been on the pill since 14. I've tried YAZ (the best by far but not covered by health care) and a few others, currently on the generic brand of Levlen Ed.
Only recently, say the last 1 - 2 years I have noticed that my body is working almost like clockwork when it comes to taking the pill. If I take it anywhere from even just 15min late (though typically occurs from half an hour late), I will undoubtedly get spotting or even my period a few days later.
I cannot find anyone on internet forums who experiences the same. A couple of hours maybe but not to this extent. Most women say they can take theirs hours apart with no effect.
My question is, is this normal and why has it only been the last few years? My body used to work just fine with the pill.

I have endometriosis and have been on continuous birth control for the past 2 years. In this time I haven't had any bleeding.
However, about a month ago I started spotting, then it turned to bleeding which has required the use of feminine hygiene products every day.
I want to take a break from my birth control and give my body a chance to refresh.. I just want to know - will I remain protected from pregnancy if I take a week off (as I have not at all)?
