Camry :: 2010 LE - Grinding Gears When Shift From 1st To 2nd

So my 2010 Camry LE with manual transmission has developed what I figure will be an expensive problem. It oftentimes grinds when I shift from 1-2. If I pause between the two it's fine, but if i just go straight to 2nd it grinds about 75% of the time so that I have to go back to neutral, let out the clutch, reengage and THEN go into 2nd gear. What could cause this? I'm stumped. There's no issues with any other gears and it does the same thing if I got from 3-2 also. It's to the point where I try to just skip using that gear. It's got about 135k miles.

I am trying to get some advice on a diagnosis for a transmission problem i'm experiencing with my vehicle? It's a manual transmission and the sound i am hearing is when i shift gears is a loud whirling grinding sound. It's really loud in 2nd 3rd and 5th and doesn't stop.

At a loss right now. My 2004 F150 4X4 and just recently started sounding like the truck is trying to shift into 4X4 mode while driving it. It stops if it's switched into 4X4. I have taken it to a local mechanic shop I use and they said it was the Actuators and they replaced those. I got it back and the same day the noise came back. Took it back and they have had it for another week and still unable to figure it out. I even took it to another shop that was highly recommended and they say to take it to a Ford dealership. I have read that some say it could be the vacuum operated hubs? Need to figure out what it was and had it fixed?

Occasionally the car would shift rough though the first few gears and then clear up. It did throw a code awhile back, but I didn't take it in right away as the check engine light went off. Last time in they were unable to find a code and I was down to the last 100 miles of the warranty. I was heading in to get the sunroof repaired (For the 3rd time I must add) and on the way there it shifted rough and the check engine light came on. Good timing indeed as I am second owner. Turned out it was the transmission temp sensor and so far it seems resolved. The sunroof needs all new parts besides the glass so they will have me come back at the end of the week. Other then that car is running great and I am still getting around the 35MPG with 80% freeway.

Drove a new 1.8T VW Passat last night. 170hp/184ftpd torque. Huge difference! My Camry feels totally underpowered now. Also the transmission seems to shift into high gears way too early. Had reprogram recall done and shifting was better for a little while but now is back to being the same as before.

Having issues with speed sensors on the transmission in their 2012 Elantra? My Elantra has 201K km. Transmission will intermittently shift harshly or sluggishly between all gears. If I turn the vehicle off and restart it it will go back to normal, sometimes for weeks at a time before another occurrence. Also after long periods of driving when the vehicle comes to a stop, say for instance at a red light, when brakes are applied the car will gently lunge forward or flutter. No engine codes.

when i shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, above 2500 rpms i get a really bad grinding, i am just under 50,000 miles so it is going to the dealership to get fix. It also kicks me out of second gear some time.

Ok so my transmission feels loose, too much play between the coast and drive side of the gears. Makes enough noise now that my wife complained about it so I'm looking into taking it to the dealer. I pretty much expect them to pass this off and do nothing, but its getting worse especially in the last couple of months.
Noticed a lot of play in there gearbox? Can you hear the gears make noise as they shift from coast to drive side?

I recently had TSB 0146-10 ( grinding noise at cold start ) performed and my cold starts are even louder now. My dealer screwed it up 2 times and I have to return again due to this noise, leaking valve covers, and lots of metal filings found in oil and filter? It seems to me Toyota has a big issue with the VVT cam gear on this engine and wanted to post a video of my cold start?
My vehicle is a 2010 RAV4 with the 2AR-FE ( 2.5 ltr ).
This is after 2 cam gear replacements and the dealer confirmed this to be the sound of a bad VVT gear.

I just bought a used 2010 Camry le with 39k on it. My concern is my car transmission working properly? Because it has some strange downshifting patterns. Whenever I take my foot off gas pedal I feel pull back just feels like car is braking by it self and plus transmission shift erratically overall its a great car. This is my first car driving with new 6 speed transmission. I used to drive 2001 Toyota Camry 4 speed auto it had smooth gear shifting. But is this is normal for 2010 Camry or should I take it to Toyota dealership.

Codes currently on ecm: P0134, P2125, P1174, P0735 My 2003 Santa Fe 2wd 3.5l with 160,000 miles was driving fine, then all the sudden whenever I reach about 3500 rpms there's a grinding noise that sounds like its coming from near or in the automatic transmission. As for the codes: P0134- I just replaced the o2 sensor with an oem part from autozone, so not sure why that's popping up. The connections look fine. P2125 and P1174- I'm trying to figure out whether the accelerator position sensor or throttle position sensor needs to be replaced. I have a multimeter but don't know if that will be able to tell me which one is out. The P0735 gear 5 incorrect ratio and grinding noise at 3500 rpms is what I am mostly worried about though. Could a transmission flush work with that?

After driving around hard for a couple minutes I got home and the car smelled like something is burnt then I went out to drive normally to get the smell out but didn't work. We are having issues shifting the car it is hard to shift into gears. I have replaced the transmission and the clutch, trans mount is still good all mounts for that matter are still in great condition its getting tiring to have to slam the car into gear all the time.

A few days ago when it was real cold my car would not shift into any gears. I shut it off and started it in neutral and was able to get it to shift, but after leaving it for a day or two it now will not go into gear. I have tried starting it in neutral and park, but it still will not let me push in the little thing to allow me to shift into reverse or drive. Why this might be happening or had this happen to them?? I'm thinking it might be related to the really cold weather. It's a 97 passat...Automatic....

I gotta 93 f150 XL it has a 4.9L and a T18 borg Werner trans. I replaced the clutch,throw out bearing, pressure plate and pilot bearing and after reinstalling trans I am unable to go through my gears.
If truck is off I can shift into some gears sometimes but not without a lot of resistance. Also some gears will let me in easy, then fight me as I try to back into neutral.
Truck starts right up but if I start in neutral I can't shift into any gears and get a lot of grinding when I try to put it in gear.
If I start in gear it drives in the gear but I have to force back into neutral. And then I'm stuck in neutral again.
It is a hydraulic clutch and fluid is full and there are no visible leaks. I am 100% sure clutch disc is facing correct way as I triple checked it while installing.
