2011 f350 king ranch... I have DRL, turn signals and tail lights. I have checked all fuses ( don't know if there's a relay) under hood and in cab. Still do not have any headlights, high or low beam nor do I have any fog Lights.

View 3 RepliesI have an '06 Camry, which has lost all power functionality. The follow items just stopped working
1. Key fob -- keyless entry and alarm stopped working
2. high beam doesn't come on when headlight is on. However, when headlight is off, it comes on--go figure
3. Power door lock also does not work, even from driver side door. Have to lock all doors manually
4. Interior lights don't come on when door is open.
I can't seem to get my fog lights to work. i checked am both bulbs are good. I did pull out the headlight switch. I checked fuse 43 an its good. I popped dash out an checked wires to headlight switch an found the wire for the fog lights, yellow wire on my 05.
Its getting power when I pull the headlight switch out to turn on fog lights. Pulled plugs of of fog lights an getting no power to them.
They use to work. i put in some HID headlights an they still worked. then i put some led's in my instrument cluster an sometimes they would work an sometimes not. now they wont come on at all.
I've done it before but now when I try to enter into the diagnostic mode I'm not getting anything but the typical message center. I'm holding the down arrow button, inserting the key, and then starting the truck. No diagnostic mode. Am I doing something wrong? 2011 F250.

View 14 RepliesRecently my 2011 F-250 Diesel with 21,000 miles seemed to start hard one morning. After starting the truck it ran well that day and started fine. The next morning it would not start. Had it taken to the dealer and they went to work. Started at the fuel filters and replaced low pressure fuel pump. Thought a piece of the defective pump had moved up fuel line. Removed high pressure pump and found signs of rust. All regular service intervals have been met. Didn't see this coming. No water in fuel light or other warning.

I just pulled the cab and did headgaskets, studs. I put everything back together and when I turn the key, nothing, no lights, zero.
I've checked all connections and batteries are good, checked all fuses, where to start with this?
So my tail lights and license plate lights are not working. The head lights work also my gauge cluster lights are not working. Which fuse I should check. Or what it might be?
View 6 Repliesluckily about 5 minutes from home my trailer running lights AND the lights on my dump truck body stopped working. i assume they hooked the lights to my dump body to the trailer lights. i was towing an old trailer that has electrical issues so I'm sure that caused it. Under the hood there is a 30 amp fuse #26 that i think is the culprit. (All the other similar fuses are shiny and that one is kinda black). I've never bought fuses like this before, what type is it? it's a big square one. Are they available at auto zone? Does the whole thing pull out and do you need a special tool for it?
View 3 RepliesThis morning a dash light informed me a headlight bulb was out. It was my DTR light on the passenger side.
I purchased Sylvania H7 high intensity, installed it and it failed to work properly. Daytime light on only drivers side works.
High Beam on , both lights works.
I checked my manual and it said to check fuse in the 5 slot on the driver side dash/door panel and there actually is no fuse in there. I checked the driver side and there was no fuse there either.
I replaced my driver side bulb last year and it took 5 mins....i am already 4 hours into this!
My low-beams are very dim and I am looking to replace them before an upcoming cross country trip. Question: what headlights do I have here, and what low-beam bulb do I need to order to get some more brightness?
View 7 RepliesWent to start my truck (2003, 7.3 F250) one evening and I found the headlights on. No keys in the ignition and the truck hadn't been driven for 2 days. There was a strong smell of plastic and or electrical components burning in the cab. The truck started without a problem. I shut it off and the lights remained on. Cycling the MFS and light switch would not turn the lights off. I had to disconnect the batteries and leave it till time allowed for trouble shooting.
I've had it in my shop for three months now and this is what I've found so far.
-Source of the burn smell is coming from the fuse panel. More specific it's coming from a bulkhead that plugs into the panel. One pin connected to a White wire with 2 purple traces. I've traced this wire to one of 2 small relay packs in the engine compartment next to the driver side fender. I've replaced the relay this white/purple wire connects to as a precaution. This did not remedy my trouble.
-The local ford dealer told me this relay was for the A/C clutch. I located a 10amp fuse in position 10 and removed it. The headlights finally turned off.
-I started the truck and the A/C compressor clutch still engaged and ran. Smoke began to pour from the fuse panel once again. I killed the truck and head lights remained off. All done with the fuse in position 10 removed.
Here's where it gets weird!
-With the key/engine off and I turn the headlight switch on and MFS to low beam the fuel pump is running. Change the MFS to high beams and the fuel pump turns off.
I've looked over the wiring harness and there are no noticeable problems indicating multiple wires being shorted. How are all these issues related?
I added plow lights to my truck and something quit when I had the high beams all on at once. All 4 shut off. Low beams still working. What I fried or where to check? Its a 99 F250 superduty.

View 6 RepliesPurchased 2011 3 weeks ago. Due to not paying attention, put gas in diesel. Had tank dropped and drained but after reassembly, fuel gauge inop. When turn ignition switch on, get normal sweep of all dash gauges but fuel gauge does not read. 2nd tech says sender okay, must be gauge. Dealer ssays if it sweeps, it isn't the gauge. 011 F250 6.7L.....

My broke and cant pull it or it comes off, but will still work to turn head lights off and on. How to make them come on with the high beams?
View 14 RepliesA few minutes ago on the way to the cabin, I was using the high beam (Auto mode) and when I push the stalk up to make the right turn, the headlights went off for a sec while the dash lights flashed brightly. Almost made me change my underwear!
When I arrived at the cabin, I tested the stalk and it turned out with loose or something like that.
What was causing that action? It never happen with low beams.
So I recently bought a 1997 7.3l F250. It is in fairly good condition, but it has some problems with the lights working. The turn signals and hazards all work, as do the tail lights and headlights. However, when I hit the high beam switch, the headlights cut off entirely. Also, the brake lights do not work at all. Ive checked the bulbs and since they all work Im not sure what the issue is.
