I've got a 2006 F150 King Ranch with rear power slider that opens but won't close. After looking more closely, the bracket holding the 'close' cable is cracked and the cable end keeps pulling out. Can I just remove the sliding window/bracket and repair the holder with JB Weld or am I looking at replacing the entire back window to enjoy the convenience?

The sunroof on my 04 gli just decided to open by itself and now it won't close. Why this is happening?
View 16 RepliesThe power liftgate on my 2015 SF Sport will open just fine but as soon as it opens all the way, it begins to close. It doesn't always do this but recently it's happening more than not.
By the way, I do not have the liftgate set to open automatically, just power liftgate is checked on the settings.
When opening Power Rear Door , the door will open then immediately close . After going through this initial opening, the second attempt will open properly & close only when Power Door Button is depressed. Recently had some engine work done by Dealer & wondering if door settings may have been disturbed. 2005 RX330

View 4 RepliesI just got a 2009 570 with rear entertainment, It opens and closes on command when prompted from the front screen and when i use the remote control, it also tilts at various angles but that's all I get from it. it is completely blank. No display whatsoever just tilts, opens and closes. I have a DVD loaded in front. Its a Mark Levinson system the DVD plays fine on the dash screen when I put the parking brakes on but the rear screen remains blank I would call it dead if not for the fact that it opens and closes.

View 10 Repliesone of my f350 super duties has had the right rear brake caliper and slider replaced 4 times in less than a year. it has just gone for the fourth time today. i called ford who, after a long phone call, said it could be the metering valve. i have looked everywhere for this valve.....no luck. so i called them back and he said it was part of the HCU. after a few minutes, he finally told me it was also called the ABS module.
my question is..........can i just replace this metering valve or do i have to replace the whole unit?
My ashtray has been open for as long as I can remember because when I close it, it rattles. I have a Lariat with the center console. What should be done to fix ashtray rattle, pics would be useful.

View 7 RepliesOK so I noticed the last few weeks that I have just a small shutter coming from my rear end every now and then. It feels like it locks up for just a sec and then is fine. It will normally do this earlier in the day and maybe once or twice. Is this telling me its time to add some more friction modifier into the rear diff or do I have another issue. I don't notice it once the truck is warmed up and been driving around some.

I think the rear cargo light on my dad's 06 F-150 might be leaking. Had a water stain trail down the back seat. Is this very common? Is it hard to replace the gasket/seal in the light? I dont really think it's the seal that holds the back glass in.

View 6 RepliesI just bought a used 2006 Ford F-150 it has the Triton 4.6L V8. Seems to be running ok a little white smoke on start up, but the other night after leaving work at 5am when it was around 10 degrease freezing. When I started my truck it was idling very rough like it was about to die but it didn't after it warmed up it was a little better but I think I seen black smoke from the rear end, but like I said after it was warm it sounded like normal so I started to head home and got about 15 mins down the road and it started to run very bad like it was bogging down and lost all power if I pushed on the gas all the way I was not picking up any speed but if I let off the gas the truck would jerk very bad and gain speed. But the next day in the morning it started up fine no problem I even drove it around town with no issue. What this issue could be?
View 1 RepliesI have a 2006 F150 xlt 5.4 3v. I've owned it since Oct. 15'. In approximately Nov. I lost the rear right brake and blinker light, and then around Christmas I lost the rear left brake and blinker. I also have no rear hazards, but the inst cluster flashes at a normal rate when the flashers are engaged. All running lights work, and 3rd brake light works. Front blinkers work and all other electrical works. Have checked all fuses and bulbs with no solution.

View 3 RepliesMy rear passengers side turn signal is not working. The bulb is lit up when i have my parking lights on so i know that th bulb is good. So my guess is that there is a voltage issue. I have searched the web for a wiring diagram and have come up empty handed.
