I'm replacing tow mirrors on my 2004 F250 with 2008 mirrors. Both are factory Ford mirrors. Need wiring diagram since connectors and wires are different. They both have power mirrors, turn signals, heated mirrors, but are not power retract or fold.

I currently have a S&B Intake on my 2006 f150, 5.4. I am selling my pickup and getting an 08 with the 5.4 and am in the fortunate situation to be able to have both vehicles with me currently. Question, would i be able to swap the intakes? Place the stock intake form the 08 on the 06 and the S&B fit the 08? I know the pickups are nearly identical, but just want a little clarification.

I just got an XLT with basic power door mirrors, I'd like to swap to power mirrors with the blinkers. The million dollar question is, does the truck already have the correct wiring harness for a "plug-and-play" or is the wiring not there for the blinkers?

Ive got a 2004 excursion Eddie bauer and I've got the non-towing paddle mirrors with power adjustment, heated, and turn signals. I want to put the 2008 style towing mirrors on that have power adjustment, heated, turn signals, and have the marker lights but not power fold or power telescope.
How I can wire these new mirrors to my factory wires? I understand that the marker light may have to be separately wired in, but all of the other functions I want to wire in to my existing wires.

Ok so I dropped off my 06 at the dealer for some warranty work and got an 08 for a loaner. They are both 2.0t tips. The 08 is a ton faster than my 06. It spins the tires all thru first gear if you turn off the esc and stand on it from a stop. I thought mine felt good but this one is better.

I have a new to me 2008 F250 XLT. Neither side on the power mirrors is working. The manual shows fuse number twelve on the passenger side fuse block is the one that controls this circuit. The fuse is good (continuity wise). What I need to know is what color is the wire that feeds power to the switch block on the driver's side door panel. Pulled it out of the door panel and wiring was intact and corrosion free. I need to find out if there is power there or is it an issue between the fuse block and the switch.

I just picked my 2008 Prius up from the dealer after having 4 new tires put on, after a blowout. When I went to open the hatch to make sure my spare and tools were all put back, the hatch would not open. It's a keyless model and the doors all unlock when I put my hand underneath the handle and I can lock them with the black button but the hatch will not open. I manually opened the hatch, thinking maybe the technician got something stuck in the latch when he closed it but did not find anything to be there. Does it sound like the handle itself is bad or maybe an actuator? In my searches, I've found many cases where people have replaced the handle due to it "melting," but nothing similar to what I'm experiencing.

So this morning I replaced my puddle lights with some leds. After a pretty simple install I was driving around and notice one of my mirrors vibrating so I reached out to pop it into place and noticed that my mirrors are hot (not from the sun but def the heating element).. Could have done anything diluting the process of changing the puddle lamps to make it where these heaters stay on all the time. For all that I know they could have been on all the time even prior to the install as I don't touch the mirror very often.

Let me start by saying electrical is something I really have no knowledge of....(never used any kind of an elec meter and don't have one) simple, Pos-grd and fuse, NP. I really don't want to fry something in these expensive new seats w/my normal trial and mostly ERROR!
The 08 (drivers) seat has 4 wires in the input clip.
GRN-RED (heavy gauge)
BLK-PURP (heavy gauge
BLU-RED
BLK-WHT
and my 01 whip out of the floor has a 3 wire setup.
GRN (heavy gauge)
BLK (heavy gauge)
BRN-BLU
I can wire PS side seat from fuse box and ground it NP. It only has a 2 wire set-up in the new seat.
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Dash Swap 1999 To 2008 Model?
I'm thinking of doing a dash swap on my 99 super duty to the 2008 super duty dash, steering wheel, etc. I know the od in my truck is mechanical and in the new one its electronical is it possible to swap without having to redue the whole electrical system and computer? Is the steering wheel going to line up and the ducting? How should i approach the wiring?
