I have a 2013 F150 SC 2wd with a 5.0 180k mileage. I have codes for all 4 banks coming up. P141 P135. I'm trying to find out which fuse works this circuit and the OM does not have it listed. What is the fuse position for thin?

About a month back I got some odd vibrations at start-up and while driving and the following codes:
P0345 - Camshaft Position Sensor, Bank 2 (drivers side), circulation error
P0349 - Camshaft position Sensor, Bank 2 (drivers side), circulation Interim.
These codes are common in the previous generation truck for various reasons. In my case, I started trying to troubleshoot with the easiest solutions first.
Checked the battery - fully charged.
Checked/played with the alternator connection and related wiring - looked good.
Checked the oil - it was down at the half mark on the dipstick, so toped it off with synthetic oil.
Cleared the codes, and now have been driving for a month, no issues, no codes!
If these codes come up for other folks, try the easiest on the list first, before bringing to the dealer... these codes can be really hard to solve, but sometimes we can get lucky.
I have a 2013 f150 & the fuel pump relay fuse burnt out. I unhooked the battery cable "wasn't thinking" & took the fuse out & replaced it. Now my truck wont get over 3000 rpms & is driving like i got bad fuel or something. & now its throwing codes about my trac & I don't know why. Just from unhooking the battery cable & hooking it back up. What it is??
View 7 RepliesWell I read most of the 2011 manual last night to find out why I have "M" on my gearshift, & found it near the end...so we can manually shift our gears. So I normally drive in D, and I use the tow/haul switch when trailing...so under what circumstances does the normal person need to manually shift through 5 gear positions using M, and the 5-position switch?
View 7 RepliesMy father has a 2009 F-150 with almost 25,000 miles. (he leaves it in garage and polishes it weekly) He just purchased a new dual axle trailer with electric brakes and led lights. When we hook up the trailer and press the Brake, turn signal or hazards, we blow a under hood fuse (48 if I remember correctly). When connected to either of his other 2 trailers, everything works and no issues. When I connect my 2014 suburban, the new trailer works perfectly. He does not have a brake controller installed on the F-150 yet. It does have the 7 pin and 4 pin plugs under the bumper.

View 1 RepliesI have read and re-read the owners manual fuse section. Can't find what fuse I blew. I do not have trailer brake or turn signal on either side. I do have running lights on the trailer. Which fuse or fuses control the brake and turn signal lights on a 2012 F-150 ecoboost. I had them all a month ago, but bought a new trailer and first time I pulled it the lights went out. Figured I blew a fuse, but can't find the one! No power at the receiver.

I fixed it and it worked for a while and now both my lights went out. Hi and low. Every time I turn my light on I hear a weird click noise coming from the fuse block. It sounds like a bad relay. My phone was charged full so I reached to disconnect the car charger and the tip fell off the charger and shorted out my cigarette lighter socket. My owners manual does not show where the fuse is located in the fuse box? It does not mention the "lighter fuse" by name......
I called the Ford Dealership parts department where I purchased my Lariat and was told I he could not nor would not tell me which fuse is blown. Everything else seems to work. Haven't tried my sync lately, better do that. Where the fuse is? My fuse box is inside engine compartment by the radiator.
I've got a bit of a weird problem with my 2012 F150 XLT Supercab w/ 5.0 and 4x4. My airbag light flashes on once ignition is in the "ON" position then turns off and back on making it code 1-1 I believe but, I cannot for the life of me, find anything about this. Also, for some reason it only happens when it's above 66 degrees outside, the temperature barely gets above that until this time of year and as soon as I take it anywhere they pull it into their shop, which is cooler than outside, and the code disappears. I would like to see if I can solve this first without doing taking it to a dealer and have a huge bill. I checked all of the cables under the seats, the fuses, the battery and the airbag module under the center console and I cannot find anything that seems loose.
View 5 Replies In an attempt to install HIDs on my 2013 f150 screw 4x4 I hated them and I broke my truck. I blew a fuse for the left headlight which I replaced.
My battery now reads 11.9v, I have no dash or radio lights and my truck won't even attempt to start. I can't exit park either. My door locks inside the vehicle work but my remote is useless. My headlights and dome lights work but that's it light wise.
Is my battery just too low and needs to be "reset"? If not my battery does it sound like a main relay or the body control module or similar?
got in the truck tonight and she is blowing nothing but cold out the drivers side but the passenger side works as advertised for temp settings. I have been trying to see if there is a self test mode like the earlier year trucks have to see if there is a code. She is dual zone climate/digital so its an EATC if I am not mistaken. I have tried power cycle, pulled and re-installed climate fuse after inspecting. Tried some of the earlier year self test button combinations to no avail. I did notice if I hit defrost a few times after hitting the power and defrost that the temps would go all 00 but I don't know if that is what I am looking for. I probably know my answer which includes tearing out the dash but how to proceed. Bought her with an aftermarket power train warranty so electronics are off the table for warranty. I know the stealership will charge out the rear to fix it too. All signs so far point to a blend door which is not good at all.

While driving into work today the CEL came on today. The truck has just over 62k on it. When I got home I checked and there 3 codes P0150, P0050, and another P0150. They read P1050, O2 Circuit (bank 2, Sensor 1), and P0050, HO2s Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1).
I cleared the codes, if they come back I'll give Ford a call I hear that emission stuff is usually covered for 8/80 is that right? What could have caused these codes? Bad O2 sensor? I haven't had a chance to crawl under and take a look. Is bank 2 on the drivers or passenger side?
On my Ecoboost the engine light came on today. I scanned it and the codes were 172 and 175. system too rich bank 1 and the same for bank 2. What might be causing this? Will take it to the dealer next week.
View 4 RepliesSo I was wondering if I could get everyone's input on this. I recently got a 2013 FX2 5.0 with the 3.55 axle. I traded in a 2007 5.4 FX2. It seems everyday I learn something new. I would like to discuss the difference between both trucks. I will list a few DIFFRENCES and if you all could list a few more that would be great....I am sure there are some I don't know.
5.0 motor, 6 speed transmission, Electronic locking rear end, Electronic fans versus clutch fan system, Bigger rotors/ brakes, electronic power steering, no fuel cap, Power fold mirrors and I ASSUME I can remove these spark plugs without breaking them.
When should I get the first oil change in our 2013 F150 5.0? We took a 1,000 mile trip right after getting the truck. It's been two weeks and I have put around 1,600 miles on the truck.
Also, how often is everyone getting regular oil changes with the 5.0?
Took my truck in Friday for my first oil change at the dealer and they put Pennzoil in instead of Motorcraft. One would expect Ford would require their products in their sponsored dealerships. i didn't realize until I was home and placed a phone call to the service manager and have not got a return call.

What this may be and how to verify the issue? I'm interested in taking care of this myself if it is easy/moderate level of difficulty to isolate issue and fix.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2013 F150 King Ranch pretty well loaded up. In the last several thousand miles (I have approximately 45,000 miles on it), the AM radio, which I listen to a lot, has the volume go up and down on its own. Very annoying. i took it to the dealer to have it analyzed and fixed and after 3 days, came back and said Ford said to start w replacing antennas (all) @ a tune of approximately $450, WITH NO GUARANTEES! Unbelievable! Then it that didn't work, replace the radio.
Well in reading some forums, it appears this has been going on a long time and it appears that Ford doesn't seem to care. This is the first Ford I've owned and I as a business owner, have owned many, many Chev PU's over the years with no problems. My 2010 Suburban doesn't have this problem w twice the miles.
Any issues with a rattle in the door? Sounds like from within?
Are these easy to take apart or would I be better off dropping off at the dealer to fix?
