Noticed a chip on one of my wheels today and would like to get some touch up paint. What is the paint code or the closest color touch up paint for the grey painted 20 inch wheels?

View 7 RepliesI have driven two Lexus IS 250's with the standard 17" wheels. I am considering trading up to the 2014 model, which appears to often come with 18" wheels on the AWD model (which is what I am looking for).
What differences can I expect on the 18" wheels vs. what the 17" gives now?
I have a 2013 Lariat 4x4 and was switching in and out of auto four wheel drive the other day. Now I have it in 2 wheel drive and there seems to be a funny vibration from the front wheels when I drive down the road.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2014 Camry LE with 16 inch steelies, and have found a set of 2013 Avalon 17 inch wheels/tires on CL. Have a few questions :
1) Will the Avalon 17 inch wheels fit my camry?
2) Can the current lug nuts be reused, or do I need to get new lugs?
3) Can the current TPMS sensors be transferred to the Avalon set
I drive a XR base model. I've decided to get factory xrs rims. If putting on these bigger rims affect my ride comfort, fuel consumption, or if it will affect my ride in anyway?

View 12 RepliesWho has installed 3" blocks in the rear. I've been working out of town for a few months and have scraped up a little extra money. With that said, I would like to add a leveling kit and rear blocks to my truck when I get home. I'm aware that adding blocks will increase axle wrap when accelerating hard, but I rarely tow and really don't beat on my truck that often.

View 2 RepliesI have a 2013 F150 6.2L and it wont start. It was running great and when I drove it around the corner it just shut down no clunk no warning just bam shut off. I had a engine code P0355 ( which indicated cylinder 5 coil malfunction). changed the coil and it will not fire the engine code has gone away but it will still not fire. I changed the oil just to be safe and no metal shavings in it.... Turns over just fine but will not fire. I added more fuel just to be safe ( thinking maybe I had bad fuel but that didn't work either.

Where to find this on the car? Also, where to get touch-up paint? I know I can get it from the dealer, but perhaps it's less expensive elsewhere and/or better quality.
View 1 RepliesHaving problems with the paint chipping on the rear bumper? Dealer said on the phone paint is only covered if it rusts. Will bring it in tomorrow for them to check, but I'm not getting a good feeling that they will cover it. Car has only 3500 miles on it! Bumper shouldn't be chipping like this.
View 18 RepliesI recently puchased a 2012 F-150 with the "ecoboost" engine. Recently I've been noticing an odor of what seems to be like rubber burning coming from the rear end of the truck.
It's very prominent when I stomp the gas pedal, with the traction control disabled especially. There's quite a bit of smoke coming from the rear, and the truck seems to over-accelerate for a V6. Should I take it to the dealer for repair?
Went to change the front brake pads on my 2010 F150 today which has 80,000 miles on it and is 2wd. Prior to taking the wheels off we noticed that it takes both hands grabbing the wheel and a significant amount of umph to get them to spin. As soon as you let go of the wheel it stops moving.
While changing the pads we didn't see anything that seemed misaligned or incorrect. The pistons compressed with ease on both calipers. However we did have to fight to remove the inside pad on both wheels.
After re-install wheels back on, they are still just as hard to try to spin. Is this normal if not what could be the problem and could this be affecting my MPG which i get 18.0....
I have a 2010 F-150 Lariat and from the salted snow and slushy roads I have rust stains on the wheels. It is not severe and I dont think the wheels are steel but I would like to remove the rust stains without damaging the wheels.

I have a 2010 F-150 Lariat 4X4 and the front wheels get brake dust and rust staining on them. What is the best wheel cleaner to use to get rid of this? I thought about muratic acid but am afraid of damaging the finish on the wheels.
View 7 RepliesHave a 2008 F-350 crew cab 4x4 lariat with 20" wheels on it. Tire size is very limited/expensive. Can I replace the 20" wheels with 18" or 17"? I was told it depends on the size of the brakes. How do I check that, short of buying "test" wheels? I am old school and would rather have more tire and less rim, than the other way around.
