Do a 2014 f350 front bumper will fit on a 2001 f350? Wanting to know if the bolt holes and body lines will match up? I put a 2014 rear bumper on and it bolted right up.

View 14 RepliesTonight I went to check the air in the tires on my 2001 F350 Dually and saw that the front right rim is broken. Two of the five spokes are completely broken all the way through. So this means I am looking to buy at least one good stock rim for the front. Might buy two if the price is right. Didn't want to spend the money for 4 custom rims right now unless it is really a super deal. If you have some sitting there in your way send me a message. My Zip is 46347.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2001 f350 super duty with the 7.3 diesel. It seams lately I'm noticing the front end seams to be taking a beating when going over bumps or rail road tracks. It feels like the front is bottoming out. I replaced the shocks in april, and just recently replaced the sway bar links to see if that will work. My thought is the front springs have lost there arch, but I'm not sure. They do look like there almost flat. Don't know if this is a problem on other trucks.

View 7 RepliesIts a rotational squeak, that sounds like its under the cab or possibly left front tire. The truck only has around 25k miles on it. I recently had a 2" leveling kit installed, 35" tires, and rear airbags installed (within 5k miles). I checked the universals and they seem to ok and there is no noticeable clunk. I am hoping its something small.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2001 f350 4x4 with7.3 diesel...I have recently noticed a low grind like noise coming from the right front. I have troubled shot the issue and I am 100% sure it is the wheel hub assembly. Did I mention I am running 37x13.50 tires..and now you say no it is the hubs...and they are the original hubs. My question is every thing I look for shows ABS is on my truck... I look at the hub and don't see it.. so with the Dana 60 front does it have ABS or not? Also, should I go motorcraft, Timken or moog wheel hubs?
View 1 RepliesF350 Super Duty sometimes the front driver side brake sticks and will pull to the left while driving and pull hard to the right while braking. It has a slight front end vibration when the symptoms are present. The wheel will be boiling hot to the touch and the smell of brakes burning is obvious.
After the truck sits, it will be good with no incident for weeks.
With the wheel still hot and on jackstand, the front wheel seems to turn freely until the brakes are applied, and seems to spin free again as brakes are released.
It seems to happen when I have a "hard braking" incident going forward until I park the truck and let it sit. If i consciously brake soft, the brakes seem to be fine.
I have read some of the posts and this is different in that it is intermittent.
I have replaced the brake hose as I thought it could be the "check-valve" symptom. No luck.
I have checked the sliders and re-lubed and they slide freely.
The caliper is relatively new and the fluid in the system is fresh as i recently changed the rear brake line and completely flushed and bled all four corners.
Do i just change the caliper, or, is there a way to find out if one of the pistons is intermittently binding? I would hate to invest in a new caliper if that is not the issue.
I am installing a set on a '12 F350 for a customer. I already had to go buy an additional hardware in order to get the back bumper on correctly...and now I'm looking at the front bumper and I swear I don't have the parts I need to install it. It appears to be missing some brackets. There were NO instructions with them (apparently a chronic problem with Road Armor) and I can't possibly imagine it bolting to the flimsy brackets that hold the factory bumper (fairing would be a better word for it) in place.
View 6 RepliesI got a 2001 f350 got a noise in my left front wheel i know its not the wheel bearings, it only makes the noice when the locking hub is unlocked i did jack the the truck up and spun the wheel got a faint grinding noises form what seems like the locking hub so my question is bad locking hub or needle bearing holding the axle shaft??

Mine has the 3 rectangular openings, 2 have the holes for mounting and tow hooks. It is chrome with the gray plastic or rubber bottom.Xlt. Also what part is the valance?

View 2 RepliesOk I have a 2001 f250 SD with 7.3 and my rear bumper is dented and badly and warped. The steel frame mounting part of it is straight and fine. I found a "kit" on eBay that has just the end caps and plastic top cap for a 2008+ style trucks. Would those caps and plastic fit on my frame mounted section (what the actual name for the part that the chrome bumper actually screws into that mounts it to frame) ?
View 1 RepliesI would like to install some driving lights behind the front bumper of my 2005 Super Duty, I was going to drill two 5" holes and than weld in some 5" pipe from the behind the bumper and attach some 5" KC driving lights to it. Would a hole saw work for this or is a bumper to thick? I was looking at DeWalt or Lenox hole saws their bi-metal. I know that I have to drill slow and I was going to use cutting fluid. I could use my drill press but I think I would have to figure how to clamp a bumper to the table. Then I am going to grind/sand the chrome off and paint it black. I will be taking the bumper off doing all of this.

View 9 RepliesI have a 2014 f 350 super cab xlt. Ford design engineers should be ashamed. But really who has installed the older (2009 ish) ford seat in there trucks for a little more comfort? How much fabrication was needed? Hate to say it but if I cant put the older truck seats in I'm going to buy GMC. These seats really suck.

View 5 RepliesOn one of the trucks in work, the salt has corroded the truck side plug for the reverse camera in the tailgate. Because of this, the camera no longer works.
Is this part of the whole rear wiring harness, or it the tailgate plug a separate pigtail that can be replaced? If it is a separate part, what is the part number so I can order it?
I just bought a 2014 F350 from copart and its about to arrive in florida on a transporter. There is no key and no power (flood damaged) and wheels are turned sideways. I am having the transported meet me at a ford dealer so I can get the key made to remove steering column lock. Once I have this, any way to manually select neutral to take it out of park and roll it off the truck.
