Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Location Of Transmission Input And Output Sensors

May 23, 2014

My gf's son has an old 2000 Jetta 2.0 and when the check engine light came on and shifted poorly, it was diagnosed as a problem with the transmission input and/or output sensors. Where are they located exactly?

Both look pretty much the same, but here's a pic of one of them : [URL] ....

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 2001 - How To Access The Transmission Input Shaft Seal

I'm trying to get to the manual transmission input shaft seal on my 01 GTI w/12V VR6. I've removed the 3 bolts surrounding the input shaft but the metal shroud underneath the 3 bolts seems to be adhered tightly in place. You can see the 3 bolt holes and metal shroud in this photo: [URL]

Am I on the right track in trying to remove that shroud? If so, how do I loosen it?

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 03 - Throttle Module / No Accelerator Input Sometimes

I have a 2003 Jetta 2.0 with the drive by wire throttle and I've been having some problems with it lately.

When on the highway (at a constant speed) sometimes it's almost like you take your foot off the accelerator pedal, then when you go to press it more, nothing happens, until you pump it a few times, it works again. This sounds like an electrical problem to me, not fuel or spark, because it's not sputtering at all, it just ignores your accelerator input. Is the "throttle module" a serviceable part?

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: 2007 - Auxiliary Input For Stock Radio

I have a 2007 jetta city with the single DIN radio (stock). I would like to have an aux input or usb input. I would like to know what would be the better option? (I don't want to go aftermarket). I know that there is a lot of option but I don't know witch one will work on my radio. (no pre-wired cd changer, no satellite).

Also, on the bottom right of the radio there is two kind of blank plugs (circle and rectangular). It looks like a usb and aux input would fit right there. I saw a picture in witch someone as the exact same radio but with a usb input (instead of the rectangular thing).

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Automatic Shifting - Code P0722 Output Speed Sensor

I just recently purchased my first mk4 golf 2.0 after having a mk3 jetta vr6 for two years. I've been having problems with the car shifting (automatic) i put a code reader on it and came up with p0722 output speed sensor which explains why it sometimes shifts at 4500. My two questions are where is the output speed sensor located? and what is a normal shifting range for properly running automatics?

Santa FE SM (2001-06) :: Code P0715 - Input Speed Sensor Location?

My Santa Fe indicated P0715 for input speed sensor problem. I purchased both sensors and based on forum input I removed the air box and battery to access senors. Output speed sensor is easy to see and access. I am having a problem locating the input sensor. I see wires going to a sensor under both the main wiring harness and shift cable. Is that the location of the input sensor? If so how do you move the wiring harness and shift cable to allow access? If not, where is the input speed sensor located? The Santa Fe is 2001 V6 2.7L.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2005 F250 - Location Of ICP And EBP Sensors?

My 2005 F250 started stuttering, lurching, having wild swings in rpms, nearly dying at stop signs, no pickup when stepping on the gas, then taking off like a bat outta hell. After reading many, many posts here and on other sites, I have concluded that the most likely culprit is the ICP sensor, so I picked one up today (along with a EBP sensor - another story). It appears from the many posts that I have read that Ford/Navistar have frequently changed the location of these sensors. My question is: Where are the ICP and EBP sensors located on the 2005s (actual manufacture date is 07/2004)?

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: AC Clutch / Compressor Relay Location

Golf 2.0 ... Finding the location of the AC Clutch/Compressor relay location. On the TDI its behind the the dash and I looked on mine and it doesn't seem to be the same. I've seen a thread where some said it was under the battery? Where it is and what number will be stamped on it. Another thread said it should be behind the dash and number 385 or 358, I looked and I don't have those numbers back there.
