Golf IV R32 :: Driver Side Seat Does Not Heat Up

Here's the situation: Just crossed over 30k miles and the Driver's side seat does not heat up. The passenger seat does work, and gets pretty warm when turned up any further than 1.
I did some searching and found some general info about similar problems in other MkIV's, but nothing specific to the R32 seats. (The warranty was for 4 years/50,000 miles, which ever came first, and VWoA will not cover our seats under the MkIV Recall.) Here's what I've tried so far:
1. Swapped switches - No difference.
2. Checked the fuses and verified that I have power to the switches
I tried to check for power at the Green connector under the seats, but got nothing for either passenger or driver's side. What should I try next?
If I check the resistance of the element in the seat, which wires do I need to check? Is there another connector under the seat I should check?

I just noticed this, this weekend, sitting in GTI and Golf. I checked carefully, and indeed it feels like I'm not sitting directly in line with the steering column/wheel. It's not a huge issue, but just a little strange, that they wouldn't match them up straight?

It seems the drivers seat heater only works when turned all the way up. Could the switch be bad, or is there some kind of variable resistor that goes bad? Dunno where to start really.

Noticing that my drivers seat is taking a long time to heat up. I usually warm up the car in the winter, and turn on the seat heater. The seat is still cold when I get in, and does not heat up until I go a few miles. Have to check and see if the passenger is doing the same thing.

My wife drives a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with a 5speed manual trans with about 40K mi on it . We purchased the service maintenance package that covers all scheduled major and regular maintenance. A year ago they replaced the head gasket because they discovered a small oil seep. Well a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the heat is fine on the drivers side and blows cool on the passenger side. This is a problem particularly when defrosting the windshield.
When she brought it in for the next scheduled service a couple of days ago I asked that she mention this problem to the service people. Their response was "we need to do a cooling system flush which would not be covered by the service contract" to the tune of a couple a hundred bucks. The coolant is the transparent green it should be due to it being changed one year ago so I have my doubts about it being the heater core.

Just had the truck in the dealership for a bad blend door/ heater core case. Heat would only blow out warm on the passenger side, blows cold on drivers side. Dealership replaced the case, heat works normal on both sides now. It was a little warm out yesterday so i turned on the A/C, frosty cold on passenger side, warm on drivers side, temperature does change when i select different temperatures (dual zone.)

So I was trying to track down this squeak noise and I removed the drivers side seat belt but now the belt will not retract? It's stuck like this, is there a manual release? Buying another one is not a option right now. And I have to drive the car tomorrow morning.

On the F250 trucks, if I changed the mounting frame under the seat, will the passenger side seat fit on the drivers side? Basically, can I turn a passenger seat into a drivers seat?

I have a 2003 Prius and I am having problems with the heater inside the car !!!!! I have nice hot air blowing on the passenger side of the car, but on the drivers side I have cold air blowing on me....does not seem to matter if I change it from defrost to the face vents..still cold on the drivers side but warm on the passenger side? Car does not have separate controls for driver and passenger so.? Any flap somewhere which is not opening and where it may be located.

I have a 2007 Santa Fe that will only produce heat on the driver side of the vehicle. It does not have dual climate control. So I changed out the heat control actuator and it did not work. I manually moved the lever and still nothing. The air will go from all sections perfectly.

We bought a new to us 03 Touareg in October last year. Throughout the winter the heater worked always on the passenger side (left side, I'm in Scotland) intermittantly on the drivers side. After having the a/c on (yay!) a few times this summer. Now when I switch to heat, the driver's side doesn't heat up at all, although the passenger's side seems to be working fine.
My husband has promised me he will have it fixed for the real winter coming in and I think he's beginning to sweat cos he's having a hard time finding just what the problem is!
I tried checking out the a/c threads on here but everytime I click on the link, I get the 404 message that it's unavailable. Also the passenger seat heats up fine but the drivers (that's me, the wife lol) seat only works sometimes.

This is a 2004 RX330. Unable to adjust temperature on driver side.
Symptoms - may appear to be defective heat or defective A/C on driver side only (depending on the position of the mix damper).
Solution -- replace mixer damper assembly servo (this controls the mix of hot and cold air on the driver side). This is a dual climate control, so each side has dedicated dampers.
So, if unable to change "where" the air coming out, the damper with the red arrow would require replacement.
If unable to control the temperature, the damper with the blue arrow would require replacement.
I will post pictures, after I repair my own. I'll be replacing the damper with the blue arrow.

I have an 2004 Camry XLE which just had the coolant flushed. Now I only have heat on the driver side. It blows cold air in the rest of the car. Temperature runs normal. Antifreeze is full. I can get more heat if I recirculate from the inside rather than bring in air from outside. It is zero in NY. Car never heats up on HOT!

I'm getting heat out of the passenger side, no heat on the driver's. Does not matter what is selected - floor, dash or defrost - the driver side blows nothing but cold air.

I have a 2004 Windstar that is nor behaving well. It seems to run ok for the time i have had it. Mileage not showing, error code for cam shaft sensor (It has been replaced), passenger window works intermittently, no display on stereo, Heat blows on drivers side while the AC blows on passenger side, Electric doors work sometimes.
Like i say, it drives ok but won't pass emissions and too many erratic problems to sell it. My independent mechanic thinks its the computer and said take it to ford. Cant afford for them to waste hours shooting down individual problems if they are all related.

Alright i got a 1999 Passat 1.8t, that I just did a new head gasket, turbo swap on and FMIC, the problem is that the heat only comes in at high revs and at speeds of 35+ and it's getting really annoying now with it being winter and I leave my car for 10 minutes in the cold and come back to see the whole interior side of the glass is frozen..
Also, my driver's side window will not go down, theirs a clicking noise you can hear when I press down on the switch?

I have an '09 Plat SCREW with the dual zone climate control. No matter what temp I set I'm only getting cold air out of the drivers side IP & floor vents as well as the two rear facing vents in the top of the center console. Since I'm out of warranty I'm wondering if there's anything I can check or fix on my own without taking it into the dealer.

My research showed some of this happening on some of the older Lexus but couldn't find any on the IS that are this new.
I plan on taking it in and hoping to have them replace under warranty. Just seems kind of odd with only 20K miles. I have never used anything other than water and a micro to clean the seats.

So the driver side seat heater won't work, I swapped the switch with the passenger side and it won't work (but the drivers side switch works on the passener side), the fuse is alright. What am I missing?

I have a '95 BMW 325. The driver's seat reclined and will not come back up... not digging the gangsta posture or the extra ab workout to sit up straight (luckily I don't have to drive very far at the moment). The motor to go back seems to work (obviously) but makes no noise when the button is pushed to move it back up. What do I have to do to fix this?
