Just got my R32, used. I noticed that the previous owner had replaced the front side markers with clear ones. I checked that there are no bulbs inside, and they don't light up. Are they suppose to light up?

1 week ago $2 tire pressure gauge fell through the slots on the left side of the trunk inside, I have tried to reach it, but to no avail(touched wires, which goes to the rear/stops driver's side several times).
Today I noticed one of my side markers was not working, I turned on lights, tried to change bulb in it and as of now neither marker nor left front light(that small upper bulb in bigger bulb slot) nor rear lights work.
Low and high beam are ok on both sides.
Just bought a 2004 SC to go with our '07. Noticed the fog lights and front side markers are not working. Checked the fuse and it is ok.
View 9 RepliesI tried putting the bulbs from the side repeaters located on the fender to the sidemarker on the bumper and the bumper sidemarker still does not turn on. I am also getting no voltage readings. Is there a specific fuse I might need to replace?
View 4 RepliesI ordered the bulbs already; I just need to know how you pop out those yellow side markers. Do I have to go under the wheel fender and pop out the cover with the plastic screws or does it just come right off the front of the bumper. Looking for step by step instructions.
View 24 RepliesI just got a R32, but its missing the wiring for the side markers as well as the outside temperature sensor. My assumption is that both are in the same wiring harness and that harness starts at the corner of the radiator on the drivers side of the car.
View 24 RepliesGen III base model. I think i read somewhere from the manual saying that the dome light suppose to shut off automatically after 20 minutes. But not in my case. My kids always left the dome light on and I checked one hour later it was still on. Or must be swtich off manually?

View 22 RepliesI bought a new 2014 Camry SE last spring with the four cylinder city 25 highway 35. The digital mpg monitor in the dash says between 30.6 -- 31 I drive a combination of highway and city everyday driving with five day work week. I don't do hard stopping or fast accelerating normal driving speeds only. I went on a 8 hour drive the other day on the highway through new york state and the highest mpg I got was 31. In stop and go driving I'll get around 30.6. So is Toyota lying how come I'm not getting closer to 35 mpg ? Is it norm that car manufacturers inflate the numbers to sell ? I know the EPA has has tighten the rules for the manufacturers about the mpg, but I wanted to ask anyway. I'm not getting 35 mpg but at least I'm not getting 25mpg either so I guess it equals out I guess.

View 8 RepliesThis afternoon I was out for a drive and on my way home on the highway I had something give on the front passenger side suspension.
There was an "odd" feeling from the steering and then some noises from the passenger side front of the car. As I was slowing down there was more clunking/shuddering as I came to a stop. After stopping I looked at the wheel and noticed it looked "further" out, and had more give when pushing it than it should have.
I then tried to pull the car further off the road and discovered that it would not go into gear to move at all!

You can see above how the strap pulled on the tire, I tried loosening the strap on it up but it was still under tension.
So I'm pulling the front control arms on my car and was wondering how to pull the front bolt out of the passenger side control arm and if it is doable without dropping the sub-frame. The bolt has like no clearance between the oil pan and the front edge of the sub-frame.

View 1 RepliesI have a knocking noise coming from the passenger side front end under light braking, getting off a highway ramp and getting on a highway ramp. It also knocks once when your turn. It has never done this before so I took it to the Linden VW and blamed the brakes, but it was NOT. Now the dealer messed with something and it shakes at high speeds and hard braking.!?!

View 14 RepliesI have punched a snowbank and cracked a front side marker light as well as toasted a hubcap. I looked up the parts and ordered them from an online parts place. The hubcap was an easy fit and that is done. Now on to installing that marker light into the driver side front bumper in my 2012 Prius V III! On initial investigation I see coming at it from the top (under the hood) is almost impossible. Looking up at the bottom of the car it appears there is a removable maintenance panel just under it.

View 5 RepliesI have a rattle coming from the drivers front area. I'm not 100% sure but I think it might go away in warm weather. I had a tech drive along with me once a few weeks ago, but we couldn't hear it that afternoon. Yesterday afternoon it warmed up to around 65ish and I couldn't hear it. I only hear it at slow speeds (5-10mph) and only when rolling over light bumps, anything moderate to heavy and it's not discernible.
This is my first try at recording it and I think it sounds a bit less squeaky more rattley in person. Maybe more like a lost screwdriver in the a body panel or engine bay or something Or a loose strut? Or a loose rotor? (doesn't seem possible) Or the short shifter bouncing? (I have a forge SS, and once I was poking around looking for something loose in the engine bay and I jiggled that and the sound seemed close, but I don't see how that would be it.

Chasing a noise in the front, seems to be more on the passenger side, and I think I have it narrowed down to the link ends or subframe. I have ST coil overs, came on the car, and already did the 034 mounts and bearings to solve another noise but this one is different. The links are original and I saw some performance ones that are a bit shorter for a slightly lowered car. Should it have shorter ones due to the coil overs?
