96 3.1 V6 grandam se......I need to replace the transmission mount on the drivers side of the car. This is the one with the rod mounted on the transmission the goes thru the transmission mount thats bolted to the car frame....I see 4 bolts holding the mount and one center bolt thru the rod to hold bushing in place. cant get the mount to clear the cars frame..

View 1 RepliesI've been having problems with my unlock on my drivers side recently, it locks on the drivers side but does not unlock, it also locks AND unlocks on the passenger side. It just does not unlock on the drivers side, this has gone off and on sometimes it works, most of the time though it does not at all.

View 5 RepliesRecently my '02 drivers window quit going down. The motor and assembly will go down, but the window stays up.
I could lower the window carefully with my hands, and it would go back up like it should, but if I wanted to take it down again I would have to do it with my hands.
Now its at the point where the power assembly still works, but the window acts like its stuck if I try to take it down using my hands, and only goes about 1 inch then sticks. But it will go back to its 'home' position when I use the up button.
I thought this would be a minor inconvenience and I could tolerate it for awhile, but I never realised just how much I use that window.
So, what may have happened, and how to go about correcting it?
The leather driver's side armrest, the one that you're able to adjust for driver's right arm, is peeling. The leather looks to have a treatment on it and is peeling off like a bad sunburn. The leather underneath is dull looking and i need to have it recovered. My gx is blizzard pearl and the interior is caramel color or ecru. It just looks awful and i keep it folded up so I don't have to look at it but I am not being able to rest my arm.

View 4 RepliesNoticed it when I was driving with the windows down today. It's a pretty noticeable ticking noise coming from the drivers side and gets faster as my speed increases. I inspected it and noticed nothing touching the wheels.

This morning I put the drivers side window down, no problems, and when I went to close it, there was a grinding noise and the window wouldn't move.
I'm wondering if this would be covered under the 5/60K mile warranty?
When I first start my car in the morning, every time I go over bumps the right rear tire feels and sounds like it is bottoming out. After driving 10 mins. it stops and acts like the other 3 tires. I understand if it did it all the time it would be a strut or shock absorber which ever a 1998 Corolla has.

I Have A Bad Clunking Sound or Would Call It A Snapping Sound From The Drivers Side Front Of Car. 1998 Aurora. When You First Start Out It Makes That Sound Or Noise So To Speak.i Am Thinking It Is A Strut But It Rides Nice Over Any Bumps And Only Makes This Noise At Low Speed When First Starting Out. I Had Some Asshole Friend Of Mine In My Car A Few Weeks Back That Was All Drunk And Everything Who Decided To Put My Car In Park When I Was Going Down The Road At 45 Mph. The Car Stallled Right On The Spot But Started Right Up. And Only Started Having Problems A Few Weeks Later. Could This Be Related??? Should I Jack Car Up And Look For Something Specific???

View 14 RepliesI've fixed one source of water that was leaking into the passenger side footwell via the insulation surrounding the A/D drain line, but I still have a leak on the drivers side after a rain, and it's strange. Unlike the leak on the passenger side, this one is not coming along the firewall - the firewall is bone dry. The water seems to be coming vertically straight down, landing on the floor mat, but I can't tell where it's coming from. Not only is the firewall dry, but so is the carpet on all sides of the puddle that collects in the rubber floor mat.
Also, I haven't been able to create the leak by spraying water on the van - I washed it today, for example, and not a drop came in. But we had a light rain last night, and there was a puddle on the floor mat (good thing it's rubber) when I opened the door this morning. I've stuck my head up under the dash immediately after I had found water on the floor mat, but can't for the life of me see any sign of wetness above the location of the water on the floor mat.
And yes, I've cleaned out the drain lines under the cowl in front of the windshield. Where this mystery leak may be coming from?
Ly 2007 LS 460 just started have a wind noise around the drivers side door pillar. Is it time to change the rubber molding around the door. If so, where would I start to buy one?

I started out purchasing a new bulb, from ebay TOYOTA PRIUS GENIUNE PART PHILIPS D4R 42406 XENON HID HEADLIGHT LIGHT LAMP OEM
Came in "Toyota" box. Got the bulb in and still had issues with the light turning off... so then I bought the after market ballast and replaced it yesterday. Light still going off.... What to check? Just read the article regarding bulbs, going to pull out the one I just got and have a better look at it.... Not all HID Bulbs are created equal.
