My passehger side front turn signal does not work. I am not getting power to the turn signal part of the bulb everything else works running light cornering light ect. except no power at the plug for the turn signal that plugs into light bucket assy. The arrow in the dash blinks fast as if the bulb was blown, getting power to the rear but not the front....
View 5 RepliesI have 1999 Ford F-150 xlt and on the passenger side the brake and turn signal don't work but reverse light does. On the driver's side, everything works so I switch bulbs and outlets and it still doesn't work but two of the wires for trailer hook up and cut. I was wondering if that had anything to do with that.
View 2 Replies1998 Olds Intrigue 3.8L ... When I turn on the right signal on my Olds Intrigue the back light flashes faster than normal. The front light does not flash. I purchased a new light bulb for the front. I replaced the bulb. The back flashes at a faster rate but the front does not flash. I replaced the front and rear bulbs. The front does not flash and the rear flashes at a faster rate. Do you think there is a broken wire or broken signal flasher?
View 3 RepliesI have checked all wires for krosion and fuse's are good so confused! Just put brand new tail lights bulbs in! The top one comes on as a running light but nothing else works. I also checked under hood fuses too!
1.Only Hazard light that works is on the Right Front passenger side.
2 Drivers side Brake Light & Turn Signal Doesn't Work. But passenger works fine! Left turn signal is out and blinks really fast!
3.Passenger Side Overhead Outside Light on cab is out . Okay that's probably just a bulb!
I locked my 98 passat yesterday with the key , activated the alarm and the horn honked and the lights flashed, but the passenger side turn lights will not go off, I pulled the flasher out and dis connected it but the lights stay on, I am guessing I have a stuck relay in the security system, but where to start looking. the turn signals will not flash with the turn signal switch or the hazard button pushed in, only the drivers side turn signals will work. This is my 1st VW and I am lost.
View 1 RepliesThis passenger side rear turn signal stopped working two weeks ago after a period of intermittent operation. All other lights work. I replaced the bulb and fuses. I am not an expert about auto electrical. The relay box is under the hood on the driver side. There is another fuse box under the driver side dash left of the steering column. Auto parts stores want to sell me a "flasher" that, well, I can't figure out where it goes. The "TNS relay" in the relay box is smaller than the flasher the parts stores are selling me. My little owner manual is not useful. Any theories about what is wrong? Wiring? Relay? Where does that flasher go? Somewhere under the dash?

At the dealer now. I have 600 miles on it so I'm assuming it will be warranty covered.
My rear passengers side turn signal is not working. The bulb is lit up when i have my parking lights on so i know that th bulb is good. So my guess is that there is a voltage issue. I have searched the web for a wiring diagram and have come up empty handed.
View 2 RepliesI just picked up a 2004 F150 FX4 Supercab, I had a safety inspection done and am working through some of the issues.
The turn signal indicator on the passenger side mirror is not working (front and rear indicators work). I took the mirror apart and get no voltage to the led array, next I pulled the rubber boot off of the harness in the door jam and probed the wires while with a test light and found one of the wires would blink the test lest light but the colour didn't match the the turn signal array, it matched the heated mirror wire. I probed at the heated mirror connector at the mirror and sure enough it blinks! Then I notice that the heated mirror indicator light on the center dash is blinking? I push the heated mirror button below the indicator light and ALL turn signals (front and rear) stop.
I searched the forum for mirror turn signal issues and found a thread about corroded wire splice below the fuse panel. I checked and have no splice all look ok so I thought I would post and see if I can get some direction or a schematic.
The symptoms are :
- Passenger side mirror turn signal(right turn) indicator does not work
- front and rear turn signal indicators work
- power seat works
- fuses are good
- drivers side all turn signals work fine
- heated mirror indicator light on the dash blinks with the passenger side turn signal
- pushing the heated mirror button when turn signals are flashing (right turn) results in a solid heated mirror indicator light but all other right turn signal indicator stop blinking (off)
It seems to me that there must be a short between the two circuits but where?
I'm having a weird issue with my passenger side turn signal light. It's more of an annoyance than an actual problem. When I turn on my headlights both yellow turn signal lights also usually turn on but the passenger side one is not turning on anymore. The odd thing is that it still blinks as normal when I engage the turn signal. I replaced the bulb but it did not resolve the issue. I'm thinking it's an electrical short somewhere. It's not the wiring in the headlight housing because I tried an old housing I kept when I replaced my headlights last year and I still had the same issue. What I should check first?
View 1 RepliesI notice the A/C wasn't working...drivers side never got cold like the passenger's side. I took the car in and they're telling me all A/C components work and none leak. Tells me my controller cannot set the range properly to close the driver's side door to be able to blow cold air like the passengers. He mention there is a bulletin out regarding the air duct/door warping over time resulting in this condition.
99 intrigue with auto climate control
I want to install some LED turn signal bulbs and lights but the flasher will flash twice as quick because of the burnt-bulb detector.
I have taken the flasher apart and tried all the tricks on the book to isolate each pin on the IC and changed the timing resistor without avail. I do not want to put in load resistor on the bulb end to fool the detection circuit.
I want to modify/cut off the detection circuit?
My front left turn signal won't work, the signal on my dash board doesn't work, and the signal in the rear blinks rapidly. but the whole right side is fine. this is aggravating, I have changed the lightbulb in the front and nothing happened. It still doesn't work.

The left signal works just fine, while the right doesn't work front or back and the indicator light on the dash doesnt come on or click. Same happens when I put on the hazards. Its like there is no power at all to that side...
View 7 RepliesI was on the way home tonight and I noticed the driver side HID headlight turn off after putting my turn signal on.
I have LED DRL fog lights installed and they're wired with no relay and plugged into the Engine Compartment fuse box. The installer connected them on the left side (where the wires come in, from the two black components by the air filter).
Could this wiring setup be interfering with the HID's?
The turn signals/hazard flasher on my 99 Sebring Jxi stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I use the signal lever or press the hazard flasher switch, you don't hear any click of the flasher relay, and the lights (front and rear, and on the dash) don't light up at all.
So far, I have:
* Checked the fuse
* Replaced the flasher
* Replaced the turn signal switch
* Replaced the flasher AGAIN (mechanic says that if there was a problem with the turn signal switch, it can burn out the flasher)
* Checked the fuse AGAIN, and even replaced it (even though it's the same fuse for the wiper/washer, and that's still working)
I asked my mechanic about it, and he said that a bad ground can also cause problems. The big question is: where do I begin to look?
The turn signal lights in my brother's 2000 passat are staying lit when he turns the signals on. They work sometimes, for a few clicks, but then stop working.
1. is it the turn signal relay. It sounds like its in the middle of the dash.
2. how do you get to that relay?
Have to remove the HVAC controls? if so, how the heck do you do it?

I have a 2003 V10 Excursion with an electrical problem. The right turn, right brake and right hazard light do not work but the flasher makes the clicking noise. When the right turn signal is on, the right front turn signal light works but is at double speed. The right rear light does not work. Same when brake and hazard are applied.
I checked the bulb socket with a multi meter and have no current. I also checked my trailer plug and have all functions work. Fuses were checked also for the brake circuit and were all ok.
Turn signal flasher doesn't work in the heat. What gives?
All lights work. Turn signal stalk works fine. It just flashes a couple of times, then stays on. Everything works fine in cool weather, but it rarely works at all when the temperature outside is above 90 degrees. Very annoyed.
I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander. The rear right turn signal and break light don't work when I apply the brakes. When I use the turn signal or brakes while driving or parked there is no problem, but once I apply the break the back right side does not work. The light bulbs also burn out faster on that side.
