When I am in the car and the windows down rolling slowly next to a building or something that echos I can hear a clicking that I think is coming from the rear. My salesman is calling me in to test drive a RCF so when I do that I'll have them look at it.
View 8 RepliesI've got a '13 GS 350 F-Sport and when the parking brake is set and you go to get out of the car it makes a real weird creaking noise. Its only when the parking brake is set, if i turn the auto parking brake off, it doesn't do it at all.
View 11 RepliesAbout 2 months ago i was driving and heard a clicking noise that would increase the faster i drove, i 1st thought it was something in the tire. after checking my right front tire and saw nothing was there for some reason i figured it was the brake.....so my personal mechanic the next day took off the wheel i told me i had to replace the braking kit because one of the pins was rubbing on the rotor, in the mean time he pulled it to try to realign it into place.....after he did that i realized the steering wheel shuddering when braking at highway speeds....figuring since i needed the braking kit that when replaced, this new problem would b solved.....braking kit replaced problem still there....

View 1 RepliesI heard that 13,14 had this issue my 15 GS is having this issue as well. Clicking noise is coming from front wheels It's like few clicks in a row when turning the wheel left / right.
Is there a DYI fix. Don't want to take to dealer they might duplicate the problem. It's not such an issue but when window is down I hear it kind of makes me wonder why a $60k car is making those noises.
I have a clicking/banging noise when I hit the brake while I am backing up. It only does it when the brakes are cool. I tried bringing it in to the dealership, with the service tech with me, no matter what I do drive forward and back hitting the brakes hard it won't do it. But as soon as the brake cools off and try backup from a drive way you can hear it and its annoying as hell. I thought it was ball joint went bad but they assure me it wasn't the ball joint.
The service tech said the brake pad expands when it heats up. Okay fine, but how come only my front left does it. I was thinking some spacer or clips fell off...
The water pump was the culprit for the noise. So my 2013 gs350 with just over 40k miles started making a clicking and squealing noise during start up and while driving. I took a video of the noise when started cold without the a/c on.
I've already taken it in to the dealer for service but out of curiously, what the problem may be? I'll provide an update after the the dealer completes service.

My 2014 ES350 is making a constant clicking noise from under the dash. Sounds like relay going on and off. When I shut off the air handling system the clicking completely goes away. Car is the Ultra Premium package and has about 13k miles on it.
Also, not sure if related but recently while the car was not running I noticed the car whining from rear wheel area the other night, I went back in the house and got my keys. Tried unlocking and re-locking but finally had to start the car and shut it off again the get the noise to stop. The car had been off for at least an hour or more but it sounded like fuel pump was running all by itself or some other system. I've owned 25 cars and never had that happen before. Otherwise I love this car!
I have a 2015 GS350 F Sport (RWD). A clicking noise occurs during braking and acceleration, but only sporadically. It seems to occur more often during heavy breaking and/or acceleration. The sound seems to be coming from the driver's side A-pillar or the driver's side dash at any rate. Sometimes the sound is a single click and sometimes it clicks up to 3 times.

View 12 RepliesI think that one of them is coming from the passenger door. It is more of a clicking sound kind of, than a rattle. Maybe as if the door panel isn't tightly attached so it moves back and forth a little and clicks.
The other rattle is from the cupholder area.
I took this car to my dealer and they fixed another rattle from the passenger door (claimed it was a screw in the speaker that had fallen out?), but it was replaced by this new clicking rattle. They also claimed they did something to the cupholder to fix it, but it didn't work.
My question is, how the door panels are attached to the car? I was thinking that if it is attached by a few screws I will try tightening those up myself before I go back to the dealer. It would be great if it was just attached too loosely and I could fix it myself.
Have noticed a thumping noise when braking at a Low speed on my 2013 RX 350. Brought it to the attention of my Lexus service mgr at the 5000 mile service. He did a test ride and heard the same thumping sound. He then test drove another 2013 RX at the dealership which made the same noise.
View 14 RepliesI bought a used 2014 F-sport and I took it to the dealer since the brakes are making the screech noise on low speed cold stops. The dealership stated that the brakes and rotors are all aftermarket and won't touch them.
My question (from searching and reading) is, any aftermarket rotors for the F-Sport RWD?
I notice this lound noise while I change from P to R/N/D. Is this normal?

View 12 RepliesWhere the parking assist sensor is in the front. I placed my license plate too far on the left I am assuming and the sensor is going off. For now I have just turned off the PA until after work. (is the PA a small visible circle?).

View 6 RepliesI have purchased a second hand Lexus GS350 F 2015 with only 12,000 miles on it. I do have an issue with the parking brake. It works fine sometimes, and sometimes it blacks out and I keep getting the (!) sign and message saying (Check Parking Brake System, Parking Brake Inoperable) with blinking red Parking sign. It simply releases the brake and it doesn't function at all. It goes sometimes by itself and comes back. This issue usually happens after driving the car mileage not immediately when starting up the car. How to handle this problem and which part is malfunctioning.

For those that have done this, will I need to cut a hole for the sensors or will the sensors still work with the wrap covering them?
Odd thing is now that the iPhone app updated, whenever I lock/unlock my car via the app the front and rear parking lights flash (DRL and tail lights), once when locking and twice when unlocking. That's never happened before. The doors would just lock/unlock with no lights. Found that a bit weird considering all that was changed was the app software, unless an update was pushed to the module in the car and I didn't know. Not really a concern but odd nonetheless...
