Page 575 of the manual that came with my 2016 GS shows that the owner can disable the smart access system, but I cannot find the setting. It ought to be with the page of locking settings but I do not see it there.

View 8 RepliesI can set my seat to recognize what key is unlocking the door to set the drivers seat to registered position (1, 2 or 3). Now when I customize settings in the Nav area so that the driver's seat slides back partially or fully when shutting down car, it no longer recognizes the keys. When I cancel the slide back option in the Nav, it quickly recognizes the keys again. I like both options and do wish that there is a way to remedy this. Is this normal?

My 2012 Camry SE V6 has the smart key system and push button start. When I start the car, how can I lock it from the outside with the smart key on my person, to let it warm up? Or is the only option to use the manual lock/unlock buttons on the armrest to lock it and then close the door?

Yesterday from the smart center of Rochester, MN I bought a 2013 Smart fortwo Pure with 19k miles. This evening the Check Engine Light came on and it is code P0455.
No other dash lights are on and I have not even touched the gas cap yet. Should I clear the code? Take it to the dealer? Tow it to the dealer?
Issue is nation-wide and is affecting vehicles equipped with nav and lexus enform.
Manual reset by disconnecting battery for 10 minutes will bring systems back online.
