Lexus LS 2007+ :: JDM Fogs - How To Get LED Portion To Light Up Outside Of Tapping Into Parking Lights

I purchased a used set of JDM HID/LED fogs awhile ago and had them installed by a buddy of mine who owns a shop. The HID portion was plug and play, but I cannot figure out how to get the LED portion to light up outside of tapping into the parking lights. It came with a DRL switch with a number of harnesses attached and a ground wire. I dropped the panel under the steering wheel and cannot see anywhere to plug it in. I reached out to the few people who have installed these, and contacted a number of sellers, but have not had much luck.
Do the LED portion has a harness to plug into on a US Spec car?

After euro switch is installed on mk4 gli, the parking lights still remain on with the front fogs.The switch would be in the middle position. So the DRL's are off and just the parking lights are on until the switch is pulled out into position 1. Then the fogs come on and pulling out into position 2, turns the rear fogs on.

So I just picked up an R32 and it has a euro switch and euro projector headlights but I've noticed that my parking lights, city lights, and front fogs are all inoperative. Though the turn signals do work. I tried doing a quick search but wasn't really able to come up with anything as to a reason why.

I have a 2007 LS460L. It hasn't been driven in three or four days. Today we found the car was completely dead. I had to get into the car with the manual key. The battery is one year old. The AAA person found that the light switch was set on parking lights rather than automatic. Could that have drained the battery. I thought that the lights turn off after you leave the car.

So today, I started my Lexus Ls600hl and the lights were flickering and the car wont start. Then on the Dash it has the yellow ! icon and the lcd says Parking brake not available.... The car wont start. I tried disconnecting the battery etc. nothing. Then i jumped the battery and got it to turn on, but it says parking brake not available - see dealer for information. But the car runs fine and everything now - But i don't understand the warning, the parking brake wont engage anymore. I will take it to the dealer tomorrow to see what's wrong.

Some customers may experience a buzz or slight rattle noise from the rear portion of the headliner when the vehicle hits small sharp bumps. It has been determined that the source of such a rattle may be the Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS) antenna located above the headliner between the rear of the sliding roof opening and the top of the back glass.
Well, after a few months of frustration hearing a buzzing in the back seats, i notice this bulletin on the 07 ES and I've tested on my 08 car and it is the same, simply tapping on the roof liner or pulling it and releasing it makes a buzzing sound. Even when i tap on the glass roof, the buzzing sound is resonating. Would the dealer rectify this issue if my car is a 08 ? I'm still under warranty.

All of a sudden the front left lights and both fog lights stopped working. It must be a fuse or a loose connection.

I just installed the lights and found that only the outside left light worked with the brake depressed, the outside left inside left and inside right worked with the light switch in the on position. Also both blinkers work.
I switched my byte 18 to 04 already and am not (as of now) using my euro light switch (I didn't think this would be it but I'm at a complete loss) ...

After taking my car to 2008 Lexus GS 350 AWD for an oil change and recall fix, I noticed my iJDMToy LED Parking Lights and Xentec HID for Fog Lamps have stopped working and just blink a very low light the entire time. The parking light starts working fine when the main head lights are off, but as soon as I turn them on, they start to blink again. The fog lamps just constantly blink at a low light level while on. Driving home from work around 10pm. Leo started explaining that i had no taillights on but the brakes worked. He was right. I came home and found out my parking light fuse under the steering column was blown. I replaced the mini 10-amp fuse with a spare and they started working again. Then later, they stopped working again. Only thing i have installed electronic upgrade wise is after market LED fog lights(which went out with the parking lights but both came back on with the new fuse) and Navi bypass. What could it be?????

The little green light on my Parking brake button does not illuminate when i push the button to let me know if its on and I am also getting a message on my dash saying Check Parking brake system and have vehicle checked by a dealer. I notice that my Electronic Parking brake doesnt seem to work anymore and I no longer have the little green light that illuminates where the parking brake switch is. Also, I now have a message on the dash that say check parking brake system have vehicle checked by dealer.

Well, I only put on about 2 k miles since Lexus replaced all of the control arms under warranty. Now again I feel the same symptoms. Some rattle when going over bad bumps on the right side.
And when driving on the highway and tapping brakes, I get a thud. A thud I am familiar with when the Strut bar bushings are bad or going. Its not too bad, but I would not expect a brand new front end to feel like that.
I am due for an oil change in a few weeks. Again I'll have to leave the car for days and drive a loaner.

I had my window down as I was backing the car into the garage today and heard a metallic clicking noise from the rear as I tapped on the brakes. The noise only happens when I am in reverse. When I put it in drive and move forward there is no clicking noise. As an AZ resident its rare for us to have the windows down so to be honest I cant really say how long this has been going on for. My car was just in for service for oil , tire balance, and alignment this saturday

I have 109,000 miles on my 2007 es350, bought in May 2006.
This weekend, I drove 2 hours, stopped for a few minutes, then when I started the car there was no sound from speakers. Just 2 tapping noises from right rear speaker. Turning the radio off, then on I only heard the 2 pop sounds.
I left the radio on even though no sound. Monday night, starting the car for the 3rd time that day, the speakers worked. The next morning the speakers did not work. Now I just hear the 2 tapping noises, when the car is started or radio turned off/on, then nothing.
This happened twice before, once last year and once 4 weeks ago. Both times, the speakers started working the next day.

Any pointers on tapping the rear view mirror to power a dash cam (or a radar detector) in a 2013 LS? I want to avoid running the wires all around to the power plug. As much as a read, prior to 2013 have a little plastic thingy on a mirror that slides out, which makes it easier - the 2013 is all enclosed.

About a month ago, I traded my 04 V6 for an 07 V6. Everything was fine except that this morning I turned on the A/C for the first time (had been in Econ) and what happens? Condensation on the lower portion of the windshield just like in the 04.

I have a 2007 Passat 2.0T Wolfsburg Edition. I have yet to figure out how to turn on the just the parking lights. Is this even possible? This is my first VW and my first foreign car .. so I'm not used to all the "quirks" yet. SO far I really LOVE my car though.

I recently bought a used '07 vw rabbit, and today when I tried to use my parking lights, I could not find any way to turn them on. I called the dealer later, and was told the rabbit does not have "parking lights". What should I use when I want to pull off the roadway briefly, etc. and why did they not put parking lights on this car? Is this a new trend?

My 2007 Hyundai Sonata lights won't turn off on auto or manually. Took it to the dealer and. they said.....
checked fuses okay has internal relay in IP Junction blocked checked power at Pin 7 and 8 RH and L/H Trail Lamp ASSY with Switch off voltage at 12V internal Failure in IP Junction Block. Recommend to replace.
