How do you keep the wing in up position all the time? When I manually turn it on at a start, it eventually goes back into auto mode to where it only pops up at speed. I know there is a way to override this mode and have it up all the time.
View 14 RepliesWhenever I start the car at the moment, the rear view and wing mirrors are both in the dimmed position and I have to press the button under the rear view mirror to clear them to normal operation. Why this is happening? I can't find anything in the FAQ which covers it.
View 2 RepliesAbout a week ago my active wing stopped working. I was on the highway, it was up and functioning as usual. when I got to my destination, got out and locked the car I noticed the spoiler was still up. Usually in Auto mode it has retracted long before you come to a complete stop.
Here is what I have done and/or how it is behaving:
The wing button stays lit.
Holding the button for 3 seconds causes the light to go out momentarily but it then come back on.
On the cluster display it shows the wing up and in green (makes sense since it is up)
In the Menu settings, deactivating the wing and re-activating it does not work.
re-initializing the settings does not work either.
No errors appear anywhere in the car/displays.
These are essentially the things the dealer did as well before taking it back to the tech. They then ran a diagnostics and said that there is an active fault code (did not tell me which one) leading them to believe it is either the switch or the motor. However, since this is the first RC-F they have had with an issue they said there was a certain field technician that would need to come look at the car and guide them on next steps. Until then it's still in the up position which is not horrible but it does certainly bug me that with only 600 miles on the clock I've already encountered an issue.

View 8 RepliesWhen backing out of same parking spot, I always hear a clunk, clunk, clunk, noise in the front while turning the steering while back in the fixed position. I have heard this noise in the past but did not think any thing of it.
It's hard reproduce this noise, it seems to only be happening when backing out and turning the steering wheel. Car only has a little over one thousand miles.
This morning on my way to work it was quite cold (~2 degrees F) and my car had some snow left on it from yesterday's snowstorm. I warmed the car up and had the rear defroster on.
When I went to use the rear wiper to clear some snow it got stuck in the down position and won't work. I tried manually clearing any snow and now the rear window is clear but the blade still won't move. I turned it on and off several times and nothing. I turned the car off and on again and still nothing.
Is it possible the motor is fried? This is a 2010 RX with ~68k miles.
Put the driver side rear seat down and now it won't come back up. It feels as though the latch isn't connected yet I can see the cable wrapped on it still. Need to tear into it... do the backs of the seats pop off?

The reason I ask is because (now that I am not upgrading to an RCF) we are going to attempt an LFA style exhaust on my current RC F-Sport. We will be starting off using an RCF rear bumper due to there being more room in the area where the stock diffuser usually is.
View 7 RepliesI had a question regarding the rear sunshade. Currently my sun shade is stuck in the middle position and it is very annoying and also is reducing my visibility in my rear view mirror because the bar is in the middle of my view. I took it to my local dealer and they said just to put it in the lower position would cost $800-1000. Does this seem fair ? I didn't break it, and why should I have to pay for something that is a malfunctioning part. The worst part is my rear view mirror is also turning black in the inside of the mirror also reducing my visibility ?

View 14 RepliesSeveral times I have gone into my garage to hear a weird noise coming from under the rear of my car, almost sounds like a small air compressor, like one you would plug into the cars power source. If I start the car and immediately turn it off the sound stops, otherwise it will continuously run. The sound does not always present but when it does the car is completely off and the key is not anywhere near it.

We've just had our first few autumn days where a heavy dew settles on the car when the temperature drops in the evenings. When I left the restaurant last night, the moisture was so thick on the outside of the glass I couldn't see out the rear window. I turned on the rear defogger and it was soooo slow. It took five minutes before you could start to see the wire lines in the glass appear and 20 minutes to clear. None of my other Lexus' have been this slow to clear the rear window.
View 7 RepliesI've got white string coming out from my rear seats between the seam of the back part of the seat and the part that you sit on. Not sure if this is a part of the seat or something that was left over that they didn't remove.
View 6 RepliesCar was in the garage. Had been off for hours. Husband noticed a high pitched whine coming from the rear of the car. Louder underneath. I opened the trunk and took out everything in the cargo net (thought something had gotten stuck in it, a gadget of some kind). Nothing there. I went to unhook the net and pull up the mat etc. and the noise stopped (coincidence I'm sure). I couldn't find anything. It didn't sound like it was coming from the wing at all (had trouble with wing being stuck down when I first got it).

View 4 RepliesI recently purchased a 2015 Camry XSE on November 23rd. I have the Entune Audio Plus system in my vehicle. The first thing I noticed while driving home is the music I was playing through Bluetooth was changing pitch constantly. The closest thing I can relate it to is a cassette tape being slowed down with dead batteries. It's brutal. My mom bought a 2015 Rav4 on the same day as me. For the past month I've been doing nothing but trial and error. Here is what I have come up with.
My radio while playing bluetooth skips, speeds up and down (pitch change) and gets really bad static. Also, when I use the steering wheel controls to change the song it changes the song INSTANTLY. In my mom's Rav4 and my friends 2015 Corrolla, it plays for about 1.5 seconds before changing to the next song. This is the buffer being played out. Mine doesn't create a buffer and is playing the data stream in real time. If any interference happens or the clock rates change it gets reflected in the pitch.
Now, I called Toyota and explained it to them. They had me read what audio version I had in my car. It says "0744". It listed two items, Audio and Operating System. The rep on the phone was taken back and said NOTHING was installed on that radio. What is supposed to be listed is bluetooth drivers, kernel and a couple other things. My audio version should say DU.60.74. She told me to take it to my dealer and they will update it through USB and it only takes a couple minutes.

View 4 RepliesEver since I've owned my Phaeton there's been what looks like a crack in the passenger side wing mirror, when you get up close however you can see the glass is fine and it's something within the mirror itself. The 'crack' is dark blue with an orange outline which makes me think it's possibly auto-dimming fluid which has leaked out. I've had a look online and can't see anything to confirm whether the passenger mirror is auto dimming as per the other two.
View 2 RepliesI'm trying to track down why the 3rd brake light in the wing doesn't work and I've narrowed it to down to the LED strip being hooped.. I removed the two hard to reach screws underneath but the light still won't separate. Is there a clip or something else holding it on in the middle somewhere? That's where it seems to be not letting go.
