I have a 03 sc430 will a stuck climate control. I can change the temp on the passenger side, but the drivers side is stuck on 65! and its cold here!!!!
View 9 RepliesRX450h Climate Control ... This is annoying and all my riders complain about the A/C Auto mode on this car. Here is the issue in Auto Mode with the inside temp set at 72 degrees, and the outside temp is cold anywhere from 55 to 65 degrees the A/C always blows cold air into the car. I can never get heat to flow into the car. The manual says that auto controls the a/c flow, fan speed, and vents like auto in almost every car. What is wrong here? The A/C is always on blowing cold air regardless of the temperature set inside the car. To me it seems that the temperature setting for both passenger and driver do not work.

View 8 RepliesSeems like I'm having to crank the temperature up higher and higher (numerically) to avoid freezing myself out in the GX in the summer. Used to be ~72-74deg was a comfortable setting, regardless of outside temp. Now it seems like I'm running a 77-78deg setting on the climate control in order for things to feel right. Any lower and I just get frozen-out.
Oddly, if I have the rear AC on (if it's super hot outside, or if the kids are in the back) things are a bit more normal.
The outside temperature has been cold since the purchase of my 07 SC almost 2 weeks ago (below freezing F ). The A/C green light has not been lit. My 05 SC, the light was on all the time. Dealer says the system will turn the A/C off in certain circumstances in very cold conditions.

Not a bunch but I fear that it is just a matter of time before they all go away.
I assume, not being a LCD engineer, that there really isn't much that can be done to fix my existing LCD but I thought I would ask the group hoping for a resolution other than replacing the LCD.
I know this is a weird post but I am looking for a climate control head unit that does not work. I need the silver covering plate that is part # 55901-24030 that is not damaged.
View 8 RepliesYesterday all of a sudden the lights on the instrument panel started flashing and the RPM indicator started fluctuating . The RPM indicator would rev and bounce all over the place while the engine was. At a constant speed. Same thin happened before when the alternator went. Next the A/C sort of went and the NAV screen showed Air Condition Diagnosis with no options to change the climate control on the screen. When I got to the car I noticed the 110v ac button was on, not sure how long she had it engaged. I turned if the 110v button and unplugged the battery to reset the computer. All seems fine driving it for 20 miles now.
View 2 RepliesAfter 4 years and 75k miles the oem battery finally needed replacement. Pretty incredible since average battery life is no more than 3 years in the 20 years I've been in the desert. The battery was out of the car for about an hour, but as far as we can tell the only settings not retained were radio presets and climate control. My phone was still stored. the only issue we're experiencing is the climate control seems to not turn automatically on intermittently. Most of the time you go to the car and start it up, ac and fan kicks on and everything is on auto. Twice the car starts but the climate control is off...fan off, no ac.

Is there a link here for how to do that? I think my filters are probably clogged (165,000 miles) but I can't figure out where they are.
I'm thinking it may be why my VSC light is on as well. Should I try Seafoam in the crankcase first?
I have a 05 Avalon XLS and I've just discovered an issue with my climate control. It's that time of year that things are warming up so we started using A/C and found that driver's side vents are blowing warm air while passenger side vents are blowing cold. I've tried varied temps and dual mode on and off as well as auto and manual control. Nothing makes a difference. I suspect some sort of thermostat for the driver's side, but I really have no clue.

I generally like to keep the temperature a bit warmer during the summer than the climate control is able. The selected temperature changes to "HI" above 80 degrees and turns on the heater. What I would like is to change the point that the climate control rolls to "HI" by several degrees, say 85 degrees.

Is there a way to change the Climate Control Temperature and the Outside Temperature read outs to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit? I know pressing the MPH/km/h button changes the the speed, distance and fuel consumption, but not the temperature read outs. I prefer Celsius as that is what I was raised on.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2005 Ford Freestyle. The climate control fan currently will not shut off or change speeds. It runs a full speed all the time the car ignition is on. I changed out the control module but didn't work.
View 11 RepliesThis is a 2004 RX330. Unable to adjust temperature on driver side.
Symptoms - may appear to be defective heat or defective A/C on driver side only (depending on the position of the mix damper).
Solution -- replace mixer damper assembly servo (this controls the mix of hot and cold air on the driver side). This is a dual climate control, so each side has dedicated dampers.
So, if unable to change "where" the air coming out, the damper with the red arrow would require replacement.
If unable to control the temperature, the damper with the blue arrow would require replacement.
I will post pictures, after I repair my own. I'll be replacing the damper with the blue arrow.

I've had this issue for quite a while. on and off for the beginning of me owning the car and now pretty much all the time. The driver side mirror will not tilt down or up. Only side to side. The passenger side works fine and even tilts down when i reverse.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2008 Toyota sienna XLE and just recently I have been unable to change the heating/cooling zones. For instance I can't change it to defrost even if I press the defrost button. Right now it is stuck on vents. It's all electronic controls on my model and even if the display is showing feet or defrost it is still coming from the vents. I live in New Hampshire and on cold snowy days I've got to be able to change which zone I want heat.
View 2 RepliesI guess the roof needs adjustment since my driver side door won't close if the window is up all the way.
Checked the roof and found there is a larger gap on the passenger side than on the driver side. That causes the unevenness of the roof, I think.
There is a noticeable amount of wind noise on the driver's side (obviously with the top and all windows up). Haven't ridden in the passenger seat so not sure if it's there too.
The top closes perfectly, so I'm assuming it's the driver's side mirror.
I have an 07 sc 430. It has a wind noise on drivers side. It seems to be at the top of the window where the top fits into the header bar.
