The heated seat on the driver side does not work. I replaced the switch (near the center console) and checked the fuse, but it still doesn't work. The light on the switch comes on, but no heat.
View 4 RepliesWeird seat heater issue on my 05 TAP/Ecru. Drivers side seat heater tends to fail intermittently after I apply leather care liquid on the seat. Does not happen on the passenger side. In winter, it failed for nearly a week before coming back to life. Yesterday it failed for the evening, then started working again today. Each time right after I applied leather care to the seats. Same amount applied to passenger and driver's seat and the passenger seat is always OK.
What is causing this ? Of course each time I go to the dealer, it is working fine !!!!
I just bought a 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD. Bought it with 99k from a older gentleman who seemed like he took really care of the car. Gave me all type of Lexus dealership service receipts. I recently noticed that the driver side seat heating and cooling doesn't work right, passenger seat works fine. I haven't checked the fuses yet just wanted to get some opinions before getting into it.

View 5 RepliesPrius four with heated leather seats noticed especially on the drivers side seat bottom on the side bolster just as you slide in not the center section. I noticed it when new, it looks like a maybe wire between the leather and seat foam.
View 4 Replies9000 Miles latter: The driver side heated seat has given up the ghost. Also, the digital clock on the dash keep gaining time. VW says there is nothing wrong with the computer and they have thrown up there hands.
The clock has probably gained an hour in the last month. I know the car is German not Swiss but a digital clock should not do this and causes me concern that there might be other ECU issues.
I have an '07 Saturn Relay. The drivers side heated seat has quit working, the passenger side works fine. When I turn the warmer switch on, the switch lights up but the seat never gets warm on the high or low mode of the switch. After a while the light on the switch goes off, it used to stay on all the time. What could be wrong and how can I check it?
View 3 RepliesThe drivers seat heat on my 2010 F-150 stopped working. The passengers side works fine. When I press the button on the dash, it lights for 2-3 seconds, then goes out. I have been looking around all weekend for a fix. I found many posts, but they are older and the equipment I'm seeing on my 2010 F-150 looks different. I found the wires coming from the heating pad. I was going to try and test for continuity but the wires have a plastic fitting and I can't get contact to the wires. I found a diagram on Foreparts.com showing that the heated seat control module is part # 14C724. I was able to locate on the passengers side, but not on the drivers side so I wasn't able to swap and see if that was the problem.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2006 sc430 and have been having problems with the drivers memory seat although the passenger one works fine.
I have disconnected my batter for 5 minutes, moved the passenger seat all the way forward, heard the beep. Moved the reclining part all the way forward until I heard the beep, and the memory seat for the passenger works great.

I even replaced my drivers mirror (didn't tilt down due to bad motor), but that didn't work. Of course, I did redo disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it resetting both drivers seat and passenger seat.
When I come to either a hard stop or apply my brakes hard while on the highway I can feel a slight shift of the seat forward (as if it is tilting forward) and then when I accelerate again I feel it rock back into place. I only weigh about 150lbs so I doubt it has to do with that. It's minimal and I think it started at around 50K miles (so, just a couple thousand miles ago).
View 7 RepliesMy driver's seat heater won't shut off even though the I have it off. It is only the lower seat back that is on. So I have been sweating while driving around due to this. Is there any quick fix? pull a fuse? disconnect the heat underneath the seat?
View 11 RepliesSo this morning, I pressed memory seat #1, and it did not move my chair to the position that I set it for. I had to adjust the chair manually. Every time, I move the chair back or recline the back, in intermittently beeped every 1-2 seconds. It does not beep if I move the chair forward. Could it be the fuse? or what could be wrong?
View 9 RepliesI've had this issue for quite a while. on and off for the beginning of me owning the car and now pretty much all the time. The driver side mirror will not tilt down or up. Only side to side. The passenger side works fine and even tilts down when i reverse.
View 7 RepliesMy girl's B5 1.8T Passat (1998) has heated seats and only the passenger side one works. I guess when she first got it the driver side worked and after her older brother drove it around a few days it stopped. Fuses look to be ok, and I looked under the seat and the harnesses are all connected.
View 5 RepliesI guess the roof needs adjustment since my driver side door won't close if the window is up all the way.
Checked the roof and found there is a larger gap on the passenger side than on the driver side. That causes the unevenness of the roof, I think.
There is a noticeable amount of wind noise on the driver's side (obviously with the top and all windows up). Haven't ridden in the passenger seat so not sure if it's there too.
The top closes perfectly, so I'm assuming it's the driver's side mirror.
I have an 07 sc 430. It has a wind noise on drivers side. It seems to be at the top of the window where the top fits into the header bar.

View 12 RepliesVery much enjoying my newly acquired CPO sc430 but there's a strange thing that I noticed: When I go over a short-bump or hit a patch of broken pavement, the driver's side headlight seems to flicker for just a split-second. Sometimes it even seems like the other one flickers too. What that can be? Is it normal for this car?
Also, my car has the dreaded brake-clunk that has been discussed in this forum ad nauseum. Is it worth taking it to the dealer even assuming they know how to adjust the clips and grease the system to get rid of it? How long does the "fix" last? I had a 2004 acura TL that did this from day 1 but only on the initial brake application after starting the engine. The SC does it every time I shift from D into R etc.
I replaced my brake pads and rotors and now the driver's side brake has a loud pitched squeal. It doesn't squeal all the time and if I let up on the brakes and apply them it goes away.
I think maybe one piston is hung up.
How do you free up a stuck piston in the caliper piston?
Or could there be another reason for the squeal.
I installed Callahan slotted rotors and ceramic pads on all 4-wheels.
