The radio text display data stopped updating on my unit and still shows the artists/song titles from when it stopped working (several months ago). Whether there a procedure to reset this?
View 4 RepliesIt was below 0 yesterday morning and when I turned on the car the text which shows radio/clock/temp/etc did not appear. Just the blue highlight background with no text. Did not appear at all even when the car warmed up and has not appeared since. Everything works normally however (CD, Bluetooth, Radio)
Is there any option to reset the display? If not I guess I have to take it in... I have a 2011 Limited without NAV.
So after updating Sync in my Super Duty the system no longer receives text messages on the stereo. Before the update if I was paying attention I could hit a button on the screen and the stereo would speak the text message. Now all I get is my phone is not blue tooth compatible with the system.
View 14 RepliesMy ipod wakes up only 60% of the time when I start the car engine. For the other 40% i have to disconnect and reconnect the usb cable for a link to establish. I read somewhere that a firmware update can work but a firmware update seems to be bundled with a map update which I am reluctant to pay.
View 7 RepliesI've been trying to get my music from iTunes to an SD card so I have some traveling music for the long drive home. All the files transferred to the card and I can play them on my MacBook pro, but when I put the SD card into my '10 TDI Sportwagon (which has an SD card slot) the radio says the card contains no data. I tried both a 32gb and a 8gb card. For both cards, the radio says the card contains no data.
View 8 RepliesMy 2014 Avalon XLE connects to my iPhone 6 Plus for music and phone - nothing else. I am with ATT. Is there an update coming from Apple or ATT, or is there something I need to do to make the connection work? It's hard to believe that Toyota would not be compatible with the iPhone.

View 3 RepliesI just upgraded my phone from galaxy s5 to galaxy s7. Even though on S5 my GS350 would display and read text messages, it stopped on my S7. I made my text messages work again.
1. Remove all linked phones, unpair bluetooth connection, and restart phone in SAFE mode
. (Google how to start your phone in Safe mode).
2. After pairing and connecting phone to car blue tooth in safe mode, everything transferred, all contacts, text messages, even emails.
You now can receive texts and use the available message replies.
3. Restart your phone to take out of safe more and you are all set.
When I fuel my car the the trip data information resets to zero, keeping track of when I last fueled my car, as it should. The problem is that if often resets back to zero even though I have not fueled my car.
View 8 RepliesI have the C2 with the standard CD player/radio/Bluetooth streaming, and I'm curious about the display of track information. When I plug my iPod in via USB, the radio screen is able to display track information, as expected.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have been able to stream from Spotify over bluetooth, but it will not display the track information. Is there a way to have the radio screen show text for the track currently playing in Spotify?
If not, are there any streaming Android apps that can display track information?
I have a 2010 Prius (model III) that has begun doing this thing (just one month after the 3-year warranty expired) where the radio shows garbled stuff when the Prius starts up. It also starts automatically ejecting the CD. Pressing the buttons doesn't work. To fix the problem, you need to restart the Prius.

Noticed radio LCD getting distorted. Today my LCD just went wacko, does not show the station number but some square marks and slightly visible compact disks numbers.
View 30 Repliesmy sister has a 2003 accord v6. shes got about 70,000 miles on it. recently the radio display went black and nothing is visible. at the time the display went out, the audio was still working, just no display. if i recall correctly, it also displays the controls for the heat/ac controls also. Unfortunately, after the display blacked out, she had a separate, unrelated dead battery issue. a new battery was installed but now there's nothing because of the built in security feature that kicks in when the battery is disconnected. What the actual part is called that needs to be replaced? from what i read, its not the radio unit itself.

View 6 RepliesI have a 2009 3.3L Limited with the Nav system. Sometimes when I start the car the radio/nav display is locked up and will only display the Hyundai logo. During this lock-up, the radio still works. Using the steering wheel selectors I can switch beween station presents, between radio bands, and can change XM radio stations as well. The USB flash drive will not play any music during the lock-up. If I turn the car off then turn it on again, the problem goes away. This lock-up typically happens once every few weeks.

View 5 RepliesI have entered too many symbol on my sat nav map display, e.g., petrol station, car park, train station, etc. The map display looked very congested and would like to delete some of the symbol. There is no instruction in the handbook for removing the symbol.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2007 bottle fed EX 350. I am installing XM into it. SAT/AM button scrolls thru SAT 1 2 3. Display sometimes shows 184 or 255. Occasionally is says Radio Err, It has displayed "radio id" with nothing else, And I managed to get it to display a cryptic looking F W1 4 30 .
NO XM ID
Siriusxm cannot work with my vin.
Cannot tune to ch0 as there is no XM preview going on.
