I am trying to remove the upper portion of my passenger seat for my 2012 Prius C. This is not the part that you sit on. It is the part where your back rests against. The part where the head rest attaches to. I'm not sure what the formal technical name of the part is.

View 3 RepliesI went thru a 100 posts on "Intake gasket" search but I couldn't find any repair information on the 4.0L intake gasket replacement. I'm having difficulty pulling the upper intake off. All nuts and connections have been removed except for the egr tube that's connected to the upper intake.
According to another site, u should be able to just pull straight up, clear the intake studs, turn the intake to the left and then up due to the fact the egr tube is curves inside the intake towards the front of the upper intake. No luck. egr tube won't separate from the intake. This is a little long but everything has been disassembled to this point. BTW this is a 4.0L OHV engine
The back of my passenger seat rattles, resonating when going over bumps (and not weighted with a passenger). I've lifted my back on the driver's seat and it doesn't seem to rattle over the same bumps. How to tighten it up?

View 1 RepliesSo over the past few months, my passenger side seat has been giving me some issues. When I pull the latch up to get into the back, sometimes the seat wouldn't click back into place when pushing it back down, it would just 'bounce'. After playing with the lever, up +down, eventually it would lock back in place. Yesterday however, I could not get it to lock in place, it just keep popping back up.
The seat also no longer folds forward, it is stuck in the _l position..
I own a 2000 Jetta GLS TDI 5 speed with 501,000 kms on it. The problem I have is the passenger seat back release handle broke off so there is no way to fold down the seat.

I see a zipper on the back of the armrest cover,I assume to remove for cleaning but I do not see how to remove the armrest to clean the cover. I suppose I could scrub it in place but it really needs scrubbing.

View 12 RepliesSo, I bought a set of seat covers yesterday and I'm trying to install them this morning. Surprise, surprise!! The head rests won't come out. I tried pushing the little button and pulling up hard, No good. I look for a little clip or some other retaining device. Nothing. How do I get the front head rests out?

View 14 RepliesNot sure what I put in there but can't get it to open. It slides back but it does not lift up. I could peek through and see that nothing's preventing from lifting up the are rest so I'm thinking it's something in the top bin that's getting it stuck. (maybe phone charger cable?)
How I can fix this. The top cover is air tight so I can't even see what the problem would be.
MK7 So it rained for the first time since I bought the car. when pressing downward on the wiper lever it, the wiper arms began to shutter/jump when going back down to the rest position. When pressing up on the lever to just let them go on while driving I didn't experience this. Is this normal? She's only a week old.
View 16 RepliesI folded my back seat down, now it will not lock into the up position! I inspected the locking mechanism and it doesn't appear to have anything wedge in there.
