2007 Gen II Prius, at 135K.
Over the last couple days, the console beeps (same beep as the low fuel one) and the word 'Problem' flashes at the top of the screen. It goes away, then nothing happens. The vehicle is otherwise running fine, no symptoms. The 'Maintenance Required' sign is on on my dashboard, but that's been on for a while now (a month) for a routine oil change (so I think that's the only reason it's on).
My car Gen.2 was 200K. I change the water pump and thermostat on 150K. The reason to change the parts because I think my car a lot of miles. The car run great no problems. Till last month my car had overheat on freeway at night time. The temperature up to 245 F have the red triangle on dash and thermometer icon on Navigation screen. Before overheat on same day on the daytime when I take off I heard sound water running in the engine. The day after I check the level coolant in the reservoir tank was full but in the radiator need to fill up the coolant. After that when I drove the car the coolant overflow form the reservoir all the time. I have to check and fill up the coolant in the radiator every morning. I been the many shop ask them about the symptom of my car. Some they told me water pump failure, some said thermostat failure open all the time or some told me head gasket leak. I check all the engine didn't see any leak but I saw coolant overflow from reservoir...
View 5 RepliesMy '05 Prius with just 16k miles on it just started displaying the red triangle with exclamation mark (multifunction warning lamp?). It displays about every 3 times I start the car... The Info screen shows the icon for the Automatic Headlight Leveling System. So Ive been searching, and have found a few threads related to this, but the fix Ive seen referenced I cannot find since the posts referencing the fix are about 5 yrs old. Exactly where on the car I can find the sensor, and how it can be fixed?

View 6 RepliesSo my car wouldn't start after work. I went and replaced the starter battery and no problems. I come home and won't start again. Both batteries are good but now I get a message, system fault workshop vw phaeton And key pic comes on screen.
View 11 RepliesThere is what appears to be an icon on my touch display that resembles the battery icon on my smart phone. Currently is has one red bar lit up. I have not been able to find anywhere in the owners manual what this battery icon means and what to do when it is red.

View 9 RepliesJust took delivery of my 2005 SC430 (Egyptian Sand, white leather, 55k miles. Lovely vehicle.) which I thought came with Bluetooth.
However, when looking to pair my iPhone 4S the 'Phone' icon is not present on the ML Nav Info display screen, suggesting that maybe Bluetooth is missing? I confirmed it's a 2005 from the VIN.
When I depress the little button below and behind the steering wheel volume buttons (left side - this is a US car) I get a voice saying 'No cassette inserted' or words to that effect, suggesting it's a cassette control button, not a Bluetooth one. The Nav instruction book which came with the car specifically refers to the presence of Bluetooth.
How to find if I have Bluetooth or not? My iPhone cannot 'discover' anything.
15k on my Platinum, love the truck. I've had a handful of chimes and flashes of something on the productivity screen, most recent on an acceleration, pretty good, no WOT, but 2/3 or so, hear the chime and see the orange box on the screen, but it is gone before I can see any text etc.
Oil level good, 10% til next change. possible tire sensor? Never had a TPMS prompt. Have noticed it has only been when the outside temp is around 30 degrees F, or lower.
It will not load up correctly, when I plug it into the truck it flashes two white screens. If I take it in to the laptop, it does the a same thing.

View 4 RepliesWas driving today- had been on the road for about 30 mins, when suddenly the main screen above the center console went blank. It stayed blank for about 20s, and then returned to the A/C screen. I can't remember what it was on before it went blank - but it wasn't A/C. It is as though it's rebooted. It's forgotten what radio band and station it was on, but all other settings seem to have remained. No other sensations in the car - the multifunction display in the instrument cluster didn't blink.

View 2 RepliesI have a 2000 Dakota quad cab with a 4.7 l when I turn on either turn signal itll flash 2-3 times or sometimes not even flash at all when it does it just stops u can hear the flasher working . What to check and how to check/ replace parts I need to get it working again is there a flasher inside the steering column. or is there just a relay on the side where the fuses are ?

View 3 RepliesI just got my new 2012 Prius (package 3). When I turn on the headlights (2 clicks), no icon shows up on the dash (unlike my 2006 Prius). I thought this was weird but ok. When I switched to the brights for the first time, the headlights icon came on with the brights icon! I was wondering if this is still normal (no icon for headlights up to 2 clicks, 3rd click for brights turns on headlights and brights icons), or if I need to make a trip in to get that looked at?
View 2 RepliesI have a 2001 toyota that I was driving yesterday. I parked my car on the side of the road for 2 minutes to find something in the car. Randomly after a minute of being parked the car suddenly flashed the red triangle on the dashboard as well as the check engine light.
Also as well on the main computer screen where the radio stations normally are displayed a Problem alert appeared. It shows the PS icon, the Battery Icon, and the Red Car exclamation icon. Only the Car Exclamation point is red.
As some basic steps I tried (Because I don't know that much about cars) I opened the hood when the engine was off and cold and checked the air vent filter to see if it was clean. I cleaned just in case. I also check the gas cap to see that the cap was closed tightly. Also checked the tires air to see if that could be the case. Oil was looked at by me and I didn't see anything abnormal as well.
Until about a week ago, when I turned my headlights on, the icon (light bulb) appeared on the dash. Out of the blue, it doesn't. Any clue why? (High beam icon still appears).
