I check fuse box , it miss one fuse in fr fog fuse.
I try fix and check all fuse in fuse box. but I don't know how unplug 12v cable (I see 12v cable red cover ) .

Scion :: ABS And Brake Sensor Lights (Any Way To Temporary Disable Or Unplug Fuse)
A while back I was jumping and older ladys' car. She happened to put the cables on wrong and it surged most of my dash lights on. Ive had everything checked out and its fine except i probably need the whole sensory module replaced so in the event there is something wrong I will be alerted, n the mean time i need my emissions so i can renew my tags and they will not test with the lights on. Is there any way to temporarily disable the lights? Or a place where I can unplug the fuse? I know this sounds sketch but I cant keep getting fined for tags while trying to save up to fix it so i can get tags, its a horrible cycle.

I own a 2002 Jetta 1.8T now here is my story.
A week ago whiles driving lost power when accelerating, EPC light illuminates so I turned on my hazard light and limped home since I was far away from home. As I limped home, all the lights on the dash went off. I got home, shut engine off, restarted the car but car wont accelerate.
I popped the hood and saw the dreaded melted fuse box on top of battery with charred alternator cable. I ordered the fuse box and alternator cable and prepared to replace them.
I realized that with the driver side door open with no key in ignition, I could hear a clicking sound with inside lights blinking. Didn't worry because I believed it had to do with the melted fuse box and charred alternator cable. I noticed that the clock was off too.
I replaced.the fuse box and alternator cable. My battery is just a year old so when I tried starting the car and it won't crank, I tried to jump start it but no sound. Car won't start. Dead silence,no click nothing.

He replaced the battery last week after vehicle would not start. Noticed he blew a radio fuse but nothing else until yesterday. Major issues of all instruments, ac, windows, etc going out. Unable to start vehicle without jump.Had a error code B1676. So today we switched the battery, all is good (for now) except for horn fuse that keeps blowing.

Gen 3 Prius (Audio/Electronics) :: Music Only Start When Unplug And Plug Back?
Sometimes I just leave my iPod plugged in to the usb port when I turn off and leave the car. When I come back, the music won't start playing until I unplug it and plug it back in.. Is this a problem? Or am I just not supposed to leave it plugged in? It seems like a hassle to have to take it out every single time I leave the vehicle...
Also, is the sound quality a little choppy for anyone else using USB connection w/ an iPod? I'm using a 3rd gen iPod touch, and I'm pretty sure its software is up to date. Bluetooth sounds amazing, but I like using USB because I can see the song title/playlists and all that good stuff.

I am looking into getting the full deletes on my 2013 F250 6.7 and using the H&S Mini Maxx Race Tuner unlocked. I was told by my local Diesel Performance Shop I should just unplug the EGR and turn it off by the Tuner rather than investing in the delete kit.
He advised me it would be easier to plug it back in and turn it back on in case I need to take it back to the Dealer for any warranty work He advised me no advantages any way and works the same way. I will be putting on the H&S race tuner, S&B CAI, FLo Pro 5" down pipe back w/ no muffler and UREA delete.

I use a vent mount for my phone and my old car had the aux-in by the radio so I used a little retractable cable to my phone. Now in the prius the aux-in jack is way in the back of the arm rest what is the best way to route the cable there?
No nav, so no bluetooth streaming for me.
Prius (Gen 3) :: Ground Cable Should Be Disconnected For Jumping?
Service is coming. I have road service reimbursement. Do I have to disconnect ground cable if jumping it to start and not recharging it? The service guy said they would hook up a charge box to it but didn't need to take off the ground cable. I should make sure he switched the power of the box off when connecting and disconnecting the cables, right?
Does it work to leave it idling or do I have to drive it and for how long? Manual shows a way to jump from another vehicle, but it needs another car with a 12V battery. Most cars have a 12V battery though don't they, or are they the wrong type and have to have another hybrid car to jump from. Do you use regular cables to do this?
What is reverse polarity and what did they do to the car that damaged the control system?
Prius (Gen 3) :: Cable Rattle Noise At Low RPMs
I have recently had the fix done on my Prius for the Vibration after Cold Soaks. I also installed the Signal Side Mirrors around the same time. Shortly after both of these changes, I started to notice a noise coming that sounded like it was coming from the engine compartment in front of the passenger. It sounded like a cable rattling against a plastic piece. The noise did not always occur.
I assumed that this was the cable for the side mirrors rattling around inside of the bumper. I opened this area up and used fittings to secure the cable much better. This did nothing. The noise was the exact same.
Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Unplug The Turner With Running Engine?
I looked but can't find it again. I have mini h&s and was wondering when wanting to do live data inspection with engine running can you just unplug tuner and still run the engine or does it not work? If I remember right I've read and seen that someone can still drive and use truck with it unplugged just isn't at full power?

Have a 2010 Prius V, and use a smart phone with a vent mount above the radio. So far so good, however the dangling power cord I'd like to minimize. Presently, I have a tiny cigarette lighter to usb converter located under the shifter (in that odd open bay), and then the cord travels up the entire dash.
Would like to run the cord behind the dash and, if possible, have the cord pop through the air vent to power the phone. That said, would not want to interrupt air systems by puncturing through the duct and am not familiar w/the schematics to understand what options exist under the dash. Prefer not to drill through the dash, but would consider. Second, but lower priority, would be to hardwire the cable inside the dash.
Best spot I can locate as an exit for the power cable might be the space just outside the air vent, but still inside the vent cavity. have links to the dashboard schematics to get an idea of available space?
Gen 2 Prius :: TS Connects To Cable, Vehicle Shows Cannot Connect To VIM
I have one of the versions of TS and Mini VCI. I've been trying to get this to work for weeks. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled the driver and the software about a dozen times. Figured it must be a faulty cable. So I ordered another cable(BTW, the first cable is an X-Horse, the second cable is a Mongoose.) Same result with the second cable.
I have the X-Horse firmware updater tool installed, so I can check that the cable is indeed recognised by and connected to the computer. When I launch TS, I check the setup, and can see that TS recognises and is connected to the cable. But when I try to connect to vehicle, I get the "Cannot connect to VIM" error.

My 2006 Prius had a severed ABS sensor cable from me kicking snow / ice out of the rear left wheel well. I then has the ((!)) VSC and ABS and E brake lights go on.
Then, my radio quit, then the clock, nav, interior lights and finally the entire MFD. It wasn't an obvious fuse as I checked them with an ohmmeter and even replaced the ACC and Dome even though they checked out ok. Disconnected the negative terminal for a reset and nothing changed. Checked the battery output with a multimeter and it was fine. Finally, brought it to the dealer and they found the bad cable and bad steering angle sensor.
Now, the warning lights are gone, dome lights work but the mirrors, clock, MFD and the lights for the Park and Power button are out. Could this be a cold soaked IG1 relay? The headlights are fine and the car starts on the first push of the button.
Prius (2010-12) :: Cable Melted Next To Headlight After Bulb Shattered
About a month ago I replaced both of the main headlights in my Gen 3. I've noticed since that the light from both seemed a little skewed and thought maybe I didn't lock them back in fully. i finally checked them today and was able to get the left side light straightened out, but when I went to check the right hand (passenger) side one (which isn't working again), i realized that it must have come out.
Essentially the light bulb is shattered/exploded and it melted part of the cable next to it, and is now stuck to that cable. Besides being partially melted, the cable also has some exposed wires. i don't know what those wires do, but I can't imagine it's a good thing to leave it exposed next to a live circuit from the headlight.
See the attached picture. What that cable is that melted and if it's possible to replace it myself, or do I need to take it in?

I have a idle problem that happens on and off. with my 89 f250 351, it revs at 1900 rpm and when I unplug the vacuum hose to the map sensor it idles about 700 rpm. I've already replaced the map sensor and it does the same thing. i cant find any vacuum leaks anywhere and when i unplug the connector to the IAC nothing happens it continues to rev high.
