I've been having a few problems with keeping my ipod connected with Entune. I was working fine but lately the ipod screen keeps saying loading. Then when I switch to another source like FM, then back to Ipod, I also get a "Function not available" screen. The only thing that has fixes this is to hard reboot my ipod, and turn off the car and restart.

View 5 RepliesWhen I am listening to songs from iPhone there are buttons on my head unit (C2 radio NOT nav system) for play/pause, fwd, rewind BUT the rewind and fwd buttons only forward through the song it's playing (like you used to be able to do with cassette tapes) and it does NOT skip to the next song. How stupid is that? I have never seen a digital audio player that did this, the fwd/rewind always skip back a song or fwd a song BUT the prius head unit only skips through the song itself.

View 12 RepliesI have it set to switch automatically, but at night it doesn't darken. I have to go into the map settings and back, then it updates or something and turns on the night mode. Does that use the light sensor, or the time of day?
View 12 RepliesSince having the latest entune update at the dealer, my GPS screen now automatically dims too much when the ambient light is lower in the evening. Tried messing around with the contrast and brightness controls and the rotary dimmer control on the left side of the dash.
Could not get the brightness to be like it was before the update. Street names are pretty much illegible at night. If I raise the brightness at night to the point where I can read the street names, the entire screen is super bright on the eyes.
Took the car to the dealer and they surprisingly agreed this is abnormal. Have an appointment next week to have this problem investigated.?
I was uber excited to update the Entunes system after the app updated itself on my phone (Nexus 6). I was looking forward to the iHeartRadio update, since I didn't understand the ability to listen to radio stations from other locales before. The update was supposed to allow you to listen to artist stations though, and pick up from where you left off if you were previously listening on desktop or mobile. However, I have not been able to connect to the app ever since the update, and it never establishes a successful connection.
I don't entirely care for Pandora since their algorithms leave you listening to the same blend over and over, and their ads are not customized and annoying, and although I'm playing with the new Slacker addition, I'd like to utilize the iHeartRadio function too. For now, I'm mostly using Google Play Music or Songza over Bluetooth.
Connected a portable XM receiver and it has power and is receiving a signal, but the only thing not working is sound. Radio says everything is connected, but no sound.
View 1 RepliesJust got my Prius III last week and I've noticed that every time I leave the car, the bluetooth on my phone shows its still connected, even though the car is off and I'm no where near it. What's worse is that when I return to the car, it doesn't reconnect. So I'm not sure if its the phone or the car. I had bluetooth in my Tacoma for years and it worked fine, so it has to have something to do with the car. Its a Droid 4.

When using voice commands for playing a song on the USB drive it will list that as song 1/1 which is what it should do, If I choose a artist and album it will list all songs from that album. but how do I return to the playing the USB drive to play all songs from all artists?

I use an USB drive with my other radios. Is there a way to get an adapter to allow a USB drive to talk to the Prius radio, without going the IPOD route? Don't have an IPOD but plenty of USB's with music...
View 1 RepliesiOS 8.4. When I turn on my car it will not detect my iPod. The only way to get it to detect it is to shut the car off and turn it back on. Also it no longer will resume to where my iPod left off when shutting down the car. Having problems with iOS 8.4?

I can't find the dual anchors for the infant seat base; I know I feel dumb and I'm sure the dealer can show me how to access Blue Tooth connection; Phone screen flickers on and off see attached images. I lose the ability to dial number or access contacts
Phone is connected the whole time. I've deleted and added the phone several times. I am using Samsung Infuse ATT

So I connected my iPhone fine to the car. Then I connected my wife's. Select mine, everything fine with bluetooth streaming. But when she gets in the car it always connects to her phone for bluetooth streaming even though mine was the last one connected. Totally obnoxious, so I deleted her.

I expected to lose steering wheel controls for the radio and hands free, but I did not expect to lose the steering wheel controls for my climate control and multi function display. I can no longer use the Disp, Trip, and climate control buttons now.
View 7 RepliesI discovered shortly after I bought my (used) 2012 C 4 that I couldn't turn off the radio. The volume knob didn't push in to turn off. Not a big deal, but I mentioned it to the dealer and they ordered me a new replacement knob. In the meantime, I just swapped the tuning knob over to the volume side and it's all fine. But I also discovered that the tuning knob side does push in – even with the broken knob – and not only that, it beeps when you push it. What is it supposed to be doing other than tune stations/change tracks? The Entune radio has a separate function for tone, balance, fader, etc., so it isn't doing that with the knob.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius 4 and my USB-connected iPod skips. I've tried 2 different USB cables and 3 different iPods. I also tried the vehicle in different driving modes (ECO, Power, EV) and the iPod skips every time. However, the iPod works perfectly when using the aux jack.
I took the car to the dealer and they applied a software update but the skipping persists. The dealer tried the iPod in another 2012 Prius and it skipped. They admit there is a problem but the dealer says nothing can be done until Toyota technical support gets enough complaints that they come up with a fix.
I have a first-gen iPod Touch running iOS 3.1.3. When I got my Prius C 3 about 3 weeks ago, I was able to plug the iPod in to the USB and it worked great; album art, voice control, everything. A few days ago I finally decided to try out Entune by pairing with my Android phone. That worked fine, but ever since then I have been unable to use my iPod. When I connect the iPod it will sometimes start playing the last track that was active, but when I press Browse or try to change songs, I get a spinning disc image on the screen and it says "Loading" but never finishes. Also I noticed that when I connect the iPod it now says "Accessory Connected" on the iPod screen and asks me if I want to install an app, which it never did before.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say it looks like the audio system is trying to communicate with the Entune app on the iPod. However the Entune app isn't installed so it just hangs forever waiting for a response. And I can't install the Entune app because it requires a newer version of iOS than my device supports. Is there any way that I can get the audio system to go back to its previous behavior of treating my iPod Touch like just a regular iPod?
2007 Prius with Nav System. Do I need a special cable to use the AUX jack in the arm rest? I have cable I tried to use and I show an AUX connection, but I get no sound out of the system.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius v Model 5 without Tech Pkg. While streaming music from my iPod Touch via Bluetooth, the sound tends to skip or speed up as if you are pressing fast forward intermittently. Sound is fine when hard wired via USB. I don't recall this happening when the car was new.
