Birth Control :: Small Amount Of Brown Blood On First Period

My girlfriend starting taking the pill one month ago. We had unprotected sex (condom broke) about 3 days before she went on the inactive pills. Now she is having her first period while on it but she is only having a small amount of brown blood (it is a constant flow). Is this normal because of the changes in hormones and it will become normal in a few days or is this implantation bleeding (a sign of pregnancy)? She is now on her second inactive pill.

i've been on microgestin fe for four months now and i am on my third week of the pack. after sex, I noticed some light pink discharge. the next day, dark brown blood, and today i am noticing a tiny bit of bright red that contains some mucous. is this due to the hour difference that i am taking my pills since it is daylight savings time? or just a common side effect?

I'm a 23 yo female. I have been skipping my periods on levlen ED for about 2 years. Have had breakthrough bleeding (5 days) about i'd say 4 times, which definitely wasn't like this one... i had a breakthrough bleed recently a week before i had tummy cramps & felt rather nauseous then got my period that lasted 10 days it stopped i had intercourse with my partner it came back lightly went away & once again with my partner afterwards there was bright red blood with some small & 10 cent piece size clots... i have always had the occasional bleed after intercourse but not like this.. i do have hpv & have a med- large lump inside i was told to leave it & it should go away.

I had unprotected sex December 5th & 6th, and according to a few period apps I'm about 2 days late - but Friday when my period would be expected I had some blood, enough to just wear one tampon a day and then Saturday and Sunday only a very small amount of bright red blood. I'm not sure if that sounds like spotting or my period, or if that's a sign of pregnancy? I'm not on birth control, a few days before my period was supposed to come I did start an antibiotic and a probiotic for strep throat.

I am a 28 year old male and have been having some stomach problems as of late. I have been to my doctor and let her know what has been going on and she thinks it is caused by anxiety. ( I have been diagnosed with GAD). My Bowels are very predictable, I go 2-3 times every morning and they are usually well formed then get softer as I go more. Then as the day goes on I will not have to have a BM but more feel like I have a big (for lack of a better term) wet fart coming on. Today I looked in the toilet after one of these times and saw a small amount of bright red blood. This scared the crap out of me so i have been trying to go again to see if it continued and it did same very small amount of blood that kind of looks like it is mucusy. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen?? I do have a check up scheduled in early april. Should i wait or get in sooner? I feel like it could just be irritation because I have frequent BM. I am trying to keep a level head about this and not automatically think its bowel cancer of some kind.

I'm 12 and I've had clear stuff in my underwear for a while and yesterday it was brown and today I wiped after going pee and it was reddish pinkish blood I wiped again and it was gone I guess it's called spotting I just looked it my underwear and their is black clots on top of having breast soreness moodiness and crazy cramps

I started Yasmin a year ago (21 active pills and a week break. Always start the pack on a Sunday) to help with my PMS symptoms. I've been quite happy with them with the only exception that my period always starts about a week before my last active pill (I don't stop taking them when this happens, just take them as usual until the 21 days are over). My doctor said this can happen and that it's nothing to worry about.
Now I am going to visit my boyfriend from the 17th to the 25th september and would hate to be on my period then . I got my period today and i still have 7 pills left, so again, it's a week early. Looking at the calendar if my next cycle goes like this i'd start my period in the midst of my visit. If i wanted to postpone/skip my next period should i continue taking my next 21 pills without a break after i finish this pack? And then a third pack after which i'd have a weeks break? Or could this cause my period to come even earlier because my body is not used to this?

My periods are usually regular - 28 days but there are a couple times in a year where I get my period on the 21st day/a few days before or after the 28th. I last got my period on November 2 and it lasted for a week. On November 11, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he ejaculated inside of me. I took the Nordette ECP (4 pills at first and then 4 pills 12 hours later) about 5 - 10 minutes after. On the 16th, I started my withdrawal bleeding. I usually get withdrawal bleeding, but this time it was a lot heavier. The first 2 - 3 days, I had to wear a pad and every time I coughed I felt blood coming out. It lasted like a period and eventually died down. It weirded me out a little because my withdrawal bleedings were usually quite light - light enough for me to wear only a pantyliner.
Last week, I got my usual PMS symptoms (slight sore breasts, a bit of cramping, and acne breakout). It has been 36 days and my breasts are back to normal, my cramping is very mild, but my acne breakout is CRAZY. Usually I only get maybe a pimple or two on my forehead but I have them on my forehead, cheeks, and chin! I've had no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever and no implantation bleeding as well. However, a few days ago my boyfriend and I had sex and my vaginal discharge was brown. I'm quite positive it can't be implantation bleeding because if it were, I should have bled a week before that.
Every time I've taken the ECP, my period is always on time. It's never been this late. I'm getting very anxious even if I have no pregnancy symptoms. My acne breakouts are usually my #1 indicator that I'm about to get on my period but it's been 8 days and still no luck! I've read around that some women really do miss a period and some can come as late as 70+ days. There's a high chance I'm not pregnant since I took the ECP in the window time and I wasn't ovulating that day, but any advice would do me well!

I've been on Junel birth control for a few years, I originally went on the pill at 14 due to heavy prolonged periods. My pap was normal last year. I've started dieting last week and lost 5 pounds so far, however, I skipped a pill, and now I'm cramping and bleeding heavily. It's still a week before my scheduled period with the pill, and I've been bleeding 5 days. It's still kinda heavy. It's South beach diet I'm on and I'm 22 by the way.

I have never had a regular period so I got in the pill then I stopped taking that and got on the depo shot, now I'm having a light period, it makes me nervous because I have never had a natural period. Never. What's going on.

I take the 21 pill pack of tri cyclen lo and am usually good with taking the pills on time. Last month I skipped my period by going straight into the next pack. I then stopped after the first week of the next pack so that my period could come then. (AKA I used birth control to delay my period by a week). Then I resumed with the second week of the pack after 7 days.
I was sexually active without protection during that second week that I resumed my pills and I am now afraid that I made a big mistake and could be pregnant.
Has anyone done this? Is it really bad?

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex around July 25th, 2013 and i went to planned parenthood two days later and took plan b. I got my period about a week late in the beginning of August when I usually get it around the 28th, then in September I got it around the 14th, and I haven't gotten my period yet, could it just be late, or could there be a chance I'm pregnant. I really need some help because I'm freaking out here. And I knew I got my period because it was heavy like it usually is and I had severe cramps too, so is it normal to miss my period after taking it? Or is my period going to be late?

I had received what I had thought was my period a few weeks before I was actually due (around the 28/29th). It seemed like a regular period at first even though it came out of nowhere. It was bright red and it was a normal flow. However, the next day is was light and barely any, and when I checked my pad it was more brown than red. I just assumed that the blood had dried up quickly. However that continued, with the next day having barely any, but the day after that seeing a brown discharge, covered in the gel like substance (similar to ovulation), when I went to pee. I'm somewhat worried since it is the time that I am due and I don't have anything. To note, I also had a abnormally heavy period last month, so I'm not sure if that was a continuation or if it something more serious.

I have been on Implanon for 1 year and have had periods EVERY MONTH until november where i missed my period.. Its not normal for me to miss even when im on Birthcontrol... A few days ago i started to get a light pink discharge and brown spotting.. Now i have a SUPER LIGHT what seems to be a period btu i only find blood WHEN I WIPE.. I am wondering did i have implantation bleeding? Why could my bleeding be only when i wipe? I was previously on the Cerazette pill in November, I took it for approx 6 weeks- However it wasn't for me. So I stopped on the 18th of December, and my period began straight away (Up until then it was pretty much just 6 weeks of solid bleeding! Barely any pain) I then got one again around the 25th of January. However the past 2ish weeks I have been having brown discharge and the past few days it has been BLACK with a little back pain and traces of fresh blood as well. I do have a partner and we had unprotected sex however he did not finish (I know, not a smart move) but the bleeding started a day later.

I usually get my periods on the 21st of every month and so now I'm a week late. Last month was normal however I got my period again two weeks after. I assume it was because I stopped taking BC. Would this mean that my cycle will begin again starting from the last time I got it? Or should it have been back to my usual timing? I'm just curious and worried .

I'm very scared and freaked out right now. I've been on Birth Control (Tri-Previfem) for two years now and have never spotted in between periods. I went to visit my boyfriend last week and we had unprotected sex, but he didn't finish inside me. During the four days I was visiting him I took my pill inconsistently. I normally take it at 8:00 am every morning, but I was taking it at around 9 or 10 am while visiting him.
It's been a week since the unprotected sex and I've been taking my pill constantly at 8 am, but I just noticed very dark brown, almost black discharge when I go to the bathroom and wipe.
I'm freaking out because this has never happened and I don't know what to do so I thought that someone might have some advice or answers.
