told that my breast pain and feeling of heat are due to hormonal chnages. i am 41. lately the left breast has the feeling of heat to it and tingling down the arm exspecially at the elbow. any ideas?

View 2 RepliesMy 50 year old husband has been a Type 1 diabetic since he was 21. It was a late presenting of juvenile diabetes or so they said then. He has always done well managing his diabetes, wearing a pump for the past 15 or so years. In the past week or so, he has begun to have severe pain/tingling in his feet/ankles - mainly at night when he is trying to go to sleep. He usually has to get up and walk several times before he can finally sleep - he is only getting about four hours of sleep per night. He has an appointment with his dr - but not until the week after New Years.

Have been on amitriptlyne for a while and then on gabapentine and pregabalin but the last two gave me awful side effects so have come off them and just taking painkillers at the moment, but they don't do much at all. Earlier this month, I had sexual inter course for the first time. My partner did not go inside all the way. He pulled out before he ejaculated. So no sperm entered my uterus. From the beginning of when we started and when we ended, was from 3 to 5 minutes. It happened very quickly. Why is he reason why I am haven't had my period? Why do my breast start to hurt and I'm suddenly getting cramps, yet I have never gotten them before?

View 5 RepliesI'm going 49 yrs old thru perimenopause and lately I've been having breast pain it gives me pain in my arms as well as my chest. I check my breast regularly and can't feel any lumps or any other changes in my breasts, the pain is mostly in the left one. I also get painful joints since starting perimenopause. I went to see my family doctor and he checked my breast and tells me there's nothing to worry about. I ask him if I needed a mammogram he said no...I don't know if I should get a second opinion? No one in my family has ever had breast cancer.
View 19 RepliesI am a little concerned about a pain i've been having in my left breast beneath/under my nipple area? ...ive not banged it its not itchy it just hurts (stabbing pain )when touched...iveits not during menstruastion its all the time...the actual look of my boob has changed my 32d bra on the left feels fuller and quite tender...milk seemed to be leaking from them but it was a tiny amount but has happened a few ti.es (my daughters nearly 7!)..i feel tired all the time as sleeping is uncomfortable...i also came out in spots/a few weeks ago which are still healing ..not sure if thats related but thought id mention it...any advice or help would be gratefully accepted ...i have 'rang' my male dr who said it sounds like chicke pox/shingles?

View 3 RepliesFor the past month, my left breast has been feeling a bit "heavy". I am also now experiencing pain on the inner side of my left breast. I know if it's painful it's nothing to worry about and might be my cycle. Also my breast seems larger than the right but apparently that is normal as well but it seems new to me, but maybe I am freaking out more due to anxiety. I have had regular breast exams over the past few years and so far nothing. I have had breast pain that the doctors say is due to muscle and I have been fitted for a proper bra. But here I am, 28, and freaking out. I just need reassurance. I hate having to just run to the doctor every time I experience anxiety over something.
View 11 RepliesI am 4 weeks post op from ALIF at L5-S1. I've had discectomy done twice (2002 and 2012) The last one didn't help any so we did injections and that offered no relief so it was on to the fusion. So far I haven't reached that point where I'm feeling any relief. My surgeon acted like I should have felt relief immediately. I'm still having lower back, butt, and all the way down my leg into my ankle and foot pain (all of this on the LEFT side) I've read and been told it could be quite a while before I get any relief. I was told I would only be in the hospital for 24 hours and was in there for 4 days. I used a walker for the first week and a half or so. I can now move around without it, I'm just very careful. I mostly lay flat in bed with ice. I do get up quite often to walk around the house and have started sitting up in a chair that my Home PT set up for me when he came to visit immediately after surgery. I also do the exercises my PT gave me.
About 4 days ago, I was laying on my side and I reached back to turn my heating pad on. I guess I wasn't thinking and twisted too much. I felt a sharp pain in my back that shot down my leg. Every since then, I have had the worst pain in my back. (I still had the same amount of pain in my back/butt/leg/foot as I did before this surgery 6/10. This new pain has been added to a new place in my back, and when I move it goes up to about a 8/10) I was giving it a few days before I called my surgeon because I don't want to be one of those people who constantly call the dr with small issues that go away after only a few days. This definitely is showing no signs of letting up) The worst part is, they just moved my meds down from hydrocodone 10-325 every 4 hours to Hydrocodone 7.5-325 every 6-8 hours. (Previously to surgery I had been on percocet 10-325/6 hours since June of last year. My surgeon prescribed that for one week after surgery then refilled me with hydrocodone 10-325/4 hours the last 2 weeks. These really didn't do the job, but at least I was somewhat comfortable so I dealt with it.) Now that they changed me down again, I'm getting no relief. Especially with this new pain. Over the weekend I was taking more than I was suppose to and now I'm worried I won't be able to get a refill when I need it. I've been taking pain meds for a little over 2 years now. I look forward to the day I no longer have to rely on them just to be able to get up out of bed in the morning. That day just doesn't seem to be anytime soon. I feel that at the age of 36, I am too young to be in this kind of physical condition.
When I walk, I am bent over to my right side like a little old lady. I can't stand up straight. And each time I take a step with my left leg, it feels like someone is stabbing me in the lower back on my left side. Hopefully I can get some answers tomorrow when I call. I knew this surgery was going to be a long recovery, and I was prepared for that. This new pain really has me worried and I really hope I haven't done something to mess it up. I just don't feel like this pain is something I should be having
Has anyone else injured themselves while recovering from a fusion like this? If so, what was your results? Did it heal on it's own or what? I know everyone is different, it's just good to not feel quite so all alone thru this. No one understands unless they have been thru it. Especially doctors they seem to think that everything goes exactly like the "book" says it should. That's just not always the case.
Been on 2.5 for the last week, my side affects are dizzy, pain in left arm ,and tingling in my face , and burning in my chest so not going to take any more , here's a good 1 as well my son of twenty who is diabetic has just been given ramipril 2.5 his blood pressure before taking them was 150/90 after 2 weeks it is now 175/130 ....

View 5 RepliesI am having pressure in head feel weak like no energy and always feel empty even if i just ate. I also have a tingling and pain in legs and feet which sometimes i can feel in my hands as well. I've been to the er and my primary who now wants me to see a neurologist yet i don't have insurance so it is hard. I had flu like symptoms in sep. Then developed bronchitis after that...started getting the tingling and burning in feet and legs while i had bronchitis. Also my blood sugar dropped to 57 not long ago but when i had lab test for bg fasting was a 97. I'm so fed up and tired of this everyone hates hearing me talk about it and just tell me to get checked out again.
View 3 RepliesI recently just had my bunion surgery on May 2, 2014. I know its been a few weeks and all but i felt that reading all these posts regarding to bunion recovery sorta urged me to post my share about it.
The surgery went well, but as for pain, its still very difficult to bare with. I have been feeling these weird tingling feeling throughout my entire foot, as well as having a burning sensation feeling and tightening where the screw was implanted. of course its very stiff still but when i try to bend it i get this sharp pinching pain right where the bunion was cut. I need to know if this is normal. I am in the military and of course i know they will state that its normal, but i want to get a second opinion.
So I've decided to bite the bullet and move up to 20 mg after being on 10mg for 4 months.
The side effects aren't as bad there manageable which is a plus.
I do have pain/numbness/tingling in the back right hand side of my head (I think it's where the mind is located) I was wondering if this will go away as it's driving me crazy day in day out .
I'm in my mid teens, and earlier on this evening, i noticed that my right breast slightly ached, so i checked it out myself and found a lump, which is not visible on the surface of the skin. The lump is located on the left hand side of the right breast, directly next to and underneath the nipple. The nipple on my left breast is flat, which i got checked out earlier in the year by my doctor. The lump inside my breast feels unmovable, possibly quite large, and aches even when its not touched.
I am also two weeks late for my period, which hasn't occurred before.
I need to get this checker out, however, beforehand, i would like some advice on whether or not it could be premature breast cancer, and whether or not it can be treated. I have also read up on the possible link between breast cancer and infertility.
I have an indention in my left breast,right above my nipple. it's like a hole. I have family history on my mother's side of breast cancer. Besides cancer what else could it be?
