Menopause :: Dark Or Milk Chocolate?

I know with Peri and menopause sugar isn't good...neck it's not good in general for anyone and you always hear watch your caffeine (because of hormones) So, which is better...dark chocolate or milk chocolate if you had to choose one. I know a lot of women have fibrocystic breasts so I'm asking this question to try and get a better understanding just how much chocolate affects the breasts and hormones if really at all. What do you think?

Menopause :: Depressed And Feeling Like My Body Is Out Of Control

I am 48 years and glad to have found this forum. I have been through hell and back with so many symptoms  that left me completely worried, I have been to all check ups without  any concrete answer. This started 3 years ago,  is there anyone who's been through this for such a period? My symptoms range from anxiety, depressed, tensed joints, bloated stomach, foggy sensation in the head and very painful neck pains.

I also had problem with fibroids and had them operated on last year with the hope that the feeling would be better but the change is so minimal that I feel so depressed and not more energetic like before.  Is anyone going through this and what are the best remedies to handle this.

Menopause :: Feeling Out Of Sorts - Good Days / Bad Days

For the past year i have had many strange symptoms in varying degrees, good days/bad days, good weeks/bad weeks.

Here is a list of my symptoms

Lack of energy, Extreme tiredness/fatigue,feeling faint (although never fainted),dizzy on and off but always dizzy up to a week before my period,  one very bad period of 4 months vertigo. Jelly legs, shaky inside, feeling weak as though I've had the flu or something but I've not even had a cold this year.Palpitations, feeling detached, feeling like i'm about to loose consciousness (very odd feeling) the feeling you get just as you are about to go to sleep, Brain fog.Sensitive to light, eyes often become bloodshot. Headaches/migraine. Sometimes feel so cold inside & cannot seem to warm up.Periods of insomnia, bladder irritability especially in week before period, episodes of what i now call bladder fizz where bladder so irritable it feels like i have fizzy liquid in my bladder cannot sleep through this sensation sometimes accompanied by the feeling of a red hot needle going up the urethra (would be interested to know if anyone else gets this & any remedies please? A pain I get on either side low down about where pubic hair begins pain seems to radiate to back & sometimes down into the thigh on the side of where the pain begins, doesn't seem to coincide with ovulation & randomly happens (ibuprofen usually takes it off after a couple of hours) Bloating & times of excessive wind.Monthly cyst like spots on jaw line, hair sprouting on chin & upper lip (invested in a home laser scanner) Hair beginning to thin at temples.

Food cravings for something salty & chocolate particularly before period.

I am almost 53 so after reading forums on here have come to the conclusion that its menopause & not some mysterious illness, thought I might have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, just didn't realise there were so many different symptoms of menopause.

Last year I did have very bad night sweats & hot flushes but they have reduced greatly, I take vit 6, eat plenty of fresh fruit/veg/salads, chicken, fish, flax seeds/chia seeds.

I'm so pleased to have found this forum & to find i'm not the only one suffering through this and not going mad, hope this might help someone else.

Trimethoprim :: Extremely Nauseous

I was prescribed a 3 day course of Trimethoprim, for cystitis, which I have suffered from many times before in the past. However, this time the medication made me extremely nauseous. Within about 10 minutes of taking the tablet I began retching violently and about an hour later developed a very itchy red rash on the inside of my lower arms. The rash gradually disappeared over about an hour but every time I took another tablet (two per day) I started to retch violently. I have taken the last tablet this evening but have now woken at 3.30am feeling sick again. I wish I had read your website sooner as I now realise I am far from alone in my reaction to this drug. I find it strange that I have taken it many times in the past without any obvious side effects.

Am I Pregnant? :: Little Nauseous But No Puking

Me and my husband have unprotected sex frequently (he does pull out). My period is usually around the end of the month but changes by a few days a lot. On the 15th I had a light brown/pink spotting. It was very light. The spotting only lasted a day but now it's the 20th and I am still cramping, bloated, back pain and my breast tingle. Should I worry or is it too early? I'm also a little nauseous but haven't been puking.

Pregnancy :: Nauseous Sensitive To Smells

My sense of smell is so sensitive that I've had to ask my husband to change his deodorant, we've changed our laundry detergent to one without a fragrance, and if anything is seasoned with Italian herbs or herbs in general I become nauseous. Is anyone else sensitive to smells?

Cannabis Hyperemesis Or Anxiety? Nauseous In Mornings

About a month or two ago I was having nausea in the AM around 4/4:30. Every morning. I'm not pregnant. I would dry heave and puke. It was first just in the mornings but it started to go throughout the day. I would get clammy hands, get hot then cold, dizzy, and wasn't able to eat or drink anything. I was hospitalized for one day due to dehydration and two days later was admitted for three days. They did urine tests, blood, stool samples, X-rays, ultrasound, and found nothing. They say it's cannabis hyperemesis, but since I got out of the hospital I've been smoking and feeling fine. I am however going through a rough patch with my friends due to me thinking they don't care. This morning I woke up at 5:40 nauseas. Took a shower, took a zofran, had half a glass of milk and tried distracting myself. I threw up some sour cream or milk. I had a potato last night with A LOT of sour cream that I got two weeks ago. Is it that that made me sick this morning or are my symptoms coming back? Please help this has been an ongoing issue and is an annoyance especially trying to get things done. I'm 17 by the way and have been smoking marijuana since I was about 14

Hormones :: Feeling Like Im Dying, Tired, headaches, Feeling Sick

I'm only 17 years old. I have felt the way i feel now for months. I am not pregnant before anyone suggests that!

I suffered from a disease/illness where my glands swelled up til they were huge and you could clearly see them. I had a fever all day, i would go cold and the hot, i had no energy at all and was generally sick! The doctor gave me some antibiotics and it cleared up.

Ever since then i have not been myself. I feel sick at some point during the day, i constantly have a weird feeling in my head, its not pain as such, but like a numbing feeling and irritation. I feel like im going to faint all the time, im weak and very tired, i also get chest pains from time to time & my breathing is rubbish, its hard to breath at times, i generally feel like im dying

I have had countless blood tests and all of them showed nothing!

This totally upset me because im frustrated, i just want it to be over!!

The doctor told me just to have lots of water and exercise.

My family were convinced that i suffer from anxiety and panic attacks!

As i had a panic attack due to the fact i felt so ill i thought i was dying!

It wasn't just happening to me for no reason the attack.

so they took me to the doctor where he told me my symptoms were that of anxiety and panic attacks so he gave me some tablets to take.

But i still feel the same!!

I do not believe that i have anxiety

I am sick if people believing that is what it is!!

Diabetes :: Nauseous And Exhausted In Walmart, Target, Sam's Club Etc.

I'm a type 2, and recently, I have been experiencing some issues when I go into some place like Walmart, Target, Sam's Club... I'm okay for about the first ten minutes, but then I start getting sweaty, one of my ears will stop up, and I start losing my energy. By the time I am out of the store, I am starting to be nauseous, and exhausted.

My daughter in law says it could be due to lack of air movement in the stores, but it seems like if that was the case, going out of the store would resolve the issue.

I also have fibro, but as I have only recently been diagnosed with it, I am still not acquainted with all its accompanying issues.

Does anyone know if my problem has to do with either condition?

I have a lot of problems with acne. They seem to be impossible to get rid of, no matter what I do. I eat a lot of stuff with sugar, like candy bars , chocolate cakes and a lot of soda. Could this be the reason for my acne problem or would my acne go away if I stop eating this c**p. What do you think? Im really tired of this acne problem, its really affecting me.
