Kidney Stones :: Triggered By Caffeine /coffee /cokes ?

i've had severe kidney stone pain recently and already had two water infections as a result, I don't have my CT scan till next week so I will have to wait to see where they are and whether they are small or big etc and how to move forward.

The question I have is what is most likely triggering them?

Last week I spent 5 days with no pain I felt on top of the world, I returned to work and after doing my shift all hell broke loose and my pains were severe enough for me to go to A&e. i again got an infection which meant i've been bedridden for the last 5 days.

I'm terrified of what to eat and drink.

the only thing i can say i've been drinking a lot of recently is diet cokes and plenty of coffee.

if someone can tell me that these types of drinks or caffeine is general can be a trigger i will have to give them up as i cannot just have one or two a day.

Can someone who has maybe been through my kind of circumstances give me advice on foods or drinks which may cause these triggers?

Allergies :: Instant Or Filter Coffee? ( Itchy Legs )

Baffled my GP, but eventually I found that the cause of my itchy legs (mainly around the joints) was when I changed employer, and started drinking instant coffee all day instead of filter coffee.

I 'cured' myself by going onto green tea for a few weeks, then changed to filter coffee - and hey presto, no itchy legs any more, and have been fine now for 11 years.

Does Chocolate Cause Acne?

I have a lot of problems with acne. They seem to be impossible to get rid of, no matter what I do. I eat a lot of stuff with sugar, like candy bars , chocolate cakes and a lot of soda. Could this be the reason for my acne problem or would my acne go away if I stop eating this c**p. What do you think? Im really tired of this acne problem, its really affecting me.

Surgery :: Recurrent Chocolate Cysts

I am 26 years old with no children yet..Two year ago i had an operation and my bile was removed because i had stones in the bile.Last year i had an operation and removed two chocolate cyst with laparoscopy,one on right ovary 4.5 cm and one on the left ovary 8cm.After the operation i had 3 injections ,one every month named arvekap,they stop the blood for three months.After for six months i was taking pills named qlaira,birth control pills.In December i went for check -up and i was cleared.In April when i went for check -up we found out with ultrasound that i had again two chocolate cyst one 8cm in right ovary and one 4cm in left ovary.some doctors told me that is better to make laparoscopy and others laparotomy(Iopen surgey) and i need a surgery quickly because the cyst might broke.some other doctors told me that i have to make injections to stop my period or to take pills made visane and the cyst may get smaller or dissapear and after to do surgey.what you suggest that is the better treatment to do and if i need to do a surgery now or later?if i don't do surgery now there isn't a risk that cysts might broke?
