Vaginal Health :: Diagnosed With UTI And Folliculitis

I went to the ER because I was having really bad pain down in the bag area. I was diagnosed with a UTI, and folliculitis. I'm not quite sure if they diagnosed me correctly because I'm having really bad pain down there for about a week now.. I thought it was a yeast infection at first but it turns out its a urinary tract infection. And its very very painful. Not only does it burn when I pee but it hurts so bad I can barely wipe down there. The whole vagina area is red and sore. And as for the follicles its all around the lips of my vagina. I can feel about 15 of them, and they hurt bad. When I try cleaning it hurts when I shower it hurts so bad. I put vagisil down there and it doesn't seem to work that well. The bumps hurt when I walk or sit. I switched to 100% cotton loose fitting underwear, I been taking urinary relief pills from Azo and prescribed macrobid but it doesn't seem to get any better. If anyone has this type of problem please let me know what you have done to heal it faster.

I have been with my current boyfriend now for 4 years. I have never had any symptoms of herpes, not even a cold sore on my mouth. My boyfriend has also been clean. About 6 days ago I noticed a two small bumps on my labia majora right in the hairline then there was another small bump down on my labia minora again in the hairline and on the same side as the one on the upper part of the labia. I of course began freaking out. I've never had a STD scare before and I immediately thought the worst. The bumps were slightly itchy, red, and it looked as though they had a white, almost puss filled, kind of top. I went to the health clinic 2 days later, the soonest I could get in, and the nurse told me it didn't look like any herpes case she had seen before, but she swabbed me to do a culture just in case. I'm still waiting for the results and the waiting is driving me insane. I've read every article I can find on herpes and how I could possibly have contracted it since both me and my boyfriend have been faithful to each other, and before I was with him I was with the same man for 5 years who I know was clean. I know it is possible for the disease to lay dormant for years, but still it just seems odd that it would wait this long to appear and my current boyfriend has not had any bumps or cold sores since we’ve been together.
I stumbled upon the condition folliculitis and I’m wondering if it could possibly be that. I do shave down there regularly. I’ve had razor burn before but nothing like this. Currently the two bumps that were on my labia majora have turned into a hard lump underneath the skin and the one on my labia minora has also turned into a lump under the skin. I’ve never had a cyst or boils before so I’m not really sure what I’m looking at. There is no puss coming out of anything, but they are painful when irritated. I am able to go without underpants once I am home, but during the day I have been wearing cotton underwear and I sit at a desk. I think this irritates the one on my labia majora because of where it is located so it is normally sore.
I have no other symptoms of herpes. No burning urination, swollen lymph nodes, or any sickness. I’m also not in a great deal of pain or anything like that. I’m just really unsure of what is going on and the symptoms of both herpes and folliculitis sound so similar. Folliculitis makes more sense to me, but then again that’s because I really don’t want to have herpes. There is one other issue I’m having that I can’t find online at all. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there is a white area in the fold of my skin that is above my clitoris. It’s not puss and it doesn’t hurt. I cannot find any pictures or descriptions of this online. I’m not sure if it could be caused from the large hard lump that is near it on my labia majora or not.
I’m not able to find out my results for at least another 4 days and I’m going to make a appointment with my gyno for next week as well, but I’m looking for any opinions or advice as I’m currently driving myself crazy with wondering and researching.

I'm a 17 year old girl and recently I've noticed that I have this red bump thing on my pubic mound that looks kind of like a pimple, but I've done some research and I think it's folliculitis? It's a little bit sore and I'm scared to try to pop it, it also seems to have a yellowish puss inside of it. Is that what it is? Or is it something else? Either way what should I do to treat it without going to a doctor? I'm terrified because of this, its worrying me to death. Also, I've never shaved my pubic hair before and I'm a virgin if that makes a difference.

I feel my vaginal opening is small and tight, which causes pain and difficulty in penetration. I used to do digital penetration and am able to insert two of my fingers together, but it doesn't seem to dilate while penis insertion. What could be a possible treatment? Would dilators work or will I need to undergo a surgery?

Today I noticed a cluster of small bumps around the bottom of the opening of my vagina, they're kind of red. I am sexually active with my boyfriend and I'm slightly worried he could have given me an std. We have oral sex too though and there's nothing wrong with my mouth.. We have sex a lot so maybe it could just be irritation.. I'm not sure but I'm scared. I have pictures but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post them.

I have a light green thick clumpy odorless vaginal discharge. I thought it might be yeast infection,but it does not itch.The only symptom I have is the discharge.Can you help me identify what this might be or what causes this or what do you suggest I use to clear this up.I have not contacted my gynecologist yet.

I have noticed 2 or 3 months ago that there is some light yellow discharge somewhere between the actual skin of my body and the clitoral hood. It isn't always there but my period is irregular because I'm 16 and I can't tell whether it has any connection or not with it. It smells bad and I have no idea what it could be and why.

A few months ago I was told by my obgyn that I had bv and was prescribed Flagyl. I found out soon after that I'm pregnant, so I can't take the flagyl until I hit my second trimester (I'm only 9 weeks right now ugh!). Anyway, the bv really didn't bother me at all at first, but the past couple weeks I've been extremely itchy and dry. To the point where I can't even leave the house because it's so uncomfortable. Also, I've noticed a lot of thick white "balls" of discharge around my clit. I wash it but it just comes back within a day. Is this the bv finally causing symptoms or something else?? Maybe a yeast infection, I'm not sure. I can't take any antibiotics for another few weeks but does anyone know of any way to provide some relief until then?

I really don't know if the hole is above, on, or right below the clit. I finished shaving and I was checking to see if I truly shaved well and I saw something white coming out my clit and it had some hairs stuck on it. I pulled it out and saw the hole above or on my clit. This whole situation is to crazy to deal with. The thing that came out was hard and white and there was a little bit of pressure when I pulled it out.

I have been on nuvaring for 6 months. Last month I decided to leave it in for four weeks and change the ring after the 4th week. That same week my husband and I had sex. I assumed the nuvaring protected us from conception. Well 3 weeks later I started spotting, brown which I figured was normal but then it became bright red. Thursday morning I woke up with massively painful cramps. It was very difficult for me to function and I took misplace for the last 3 days to cope with the cramps. The cramping subsided Friday morning, but bleeding was heavier. I removed the ring Thursday thinking it was causing the issue and began using tampons. When I removed my tampon yesterday it was soaked and there was tissue around the base. A large piece of pinkish red tissue. Is this just endometrial cells or could I have been pregnant and miscarried?

Okay so im 14, virgin and everything. I noticed that right after my period ended my vagina still smelled like i was still on my period. Its been smelling for about a week now and everyday the smell is different. At first it smelled like period blood but now it smells different, worse. It doesn't really smell fishy it smells like something died i swear. I've been making sure i clean it properly and everything but it won't go away. It seems like whenever my legs are open a tiny bit you can smell it. Im worried other people can smell it, and its embarrassing. My vagina isn't red or itchy, it just smells. My discharge is normal and doesn't smell. Im freaking out, i have a doctors appointment soon but my mom refuses to leave the room and if i tell her she'll think that i have an STD. What do i do? I shower everyday or every other day, and my vagina smells like 1 day old urine, or lard. I am so embarrassed to say the least. I have tried Vaginal washes, Douching, just water, and nothing seems to get rid of this horrible smell.
Can someone please give me a solution as to what I should be smelling down there. Some women smell like flowers, and some women have no smell at all?

I've been suffering from a vagina condition for almost a year now. It started out with what seemed like a yeast infection with painful burning inside and out but after many courses of antibiotics, steroid cream, antifungal, my condition down there has only worsened. I have even been on vagifem because my dermatologist said estrogen was low on the skin down there maybe due to being on birth-control for so many years. Stopped birth control stayed on vagifem, no improvement. My parts are now constantly red and burning inside and out and she said I have Vulvodynia because she can't explain it. I've been in vagina therapy and taking an antidepressant so suppress the nerve endings. I only experienced a brief 2 week period of relief before it came back worse than before. My doctors can't figure anything out, they put me on hydrocortisone cream 10% intravaginally for 4 weeks, then clindamycin cream again, no improvement. Nothing helps the pain except epsom salt bath soaks and ice.I'm scheduled to see another Gyno for hopefully a pair of fresh eyes on my condition because so far no doctor has found a helpful solution. My boyfriend and I do manage to have sex once a week but it's always painful and we have to use lots of lube because I get very dry which is why I keep thinking it's estrogen related but I'm only 31. I've been tested for STDs and all that jazz, he is the only sexual partner I've ever had and prior to us beginning to have sex, I never had these issues in my life. They didn't happen immediately, I didn't start having this problem until 3 months or so after we were having sex, first with condoms than without so, I dunno. My mom said she would get yeast infections all the time when she had sex with my dad but my doctors never find evidence of yeast in my cultures or really anything except that my parts are clearly inflamed from my white cell count.I'm at my wits end with this, I can barely enjoy sex anymore or get in the mood. I'm always uncomfortable. I no longer shave down there, wear all cotton panties, sleep without underwear at night, take daily epsom salt soaks. My boyfriend and I did stop having sex for a few months to see if that helped but it didn't. Sex does aggravate it though but so does moving around, driving and sitting, sitting is the worst. The skin down there is red all over and it hurts to rub my clit or touch down there and it just burns all the time like its on fire. Its awful, anyone had anything similar to this?I've tried home remedies too, different soaks, herbal supplements, cut out soda and trying to eat better diet wise. It also burns when I pee sometimes but not all the time. I think it burns cause the skin down there is so inflamed that anything that hits it just makes it scream in pain. I keep thinking it has to be autoimmune or an allergen I'm not aware of even though I use unscented soap, shaving cream etc.

I looked around for someone with the same problem, but I can't find it. Just in case anyone mentions it, it's not herpes or anything. It's just a stubborn ingrown hair wound that refuses to heal correctly...
I've had this one vaginal sore for months now. Sometimes it's healing well then it opens back up again with blood and sometimes pus. I find it really hard to stop this cycle. It's on the far left, so that every time I walk, my upper thigh rubs against it and irritates it. Taking a shower will soften any healing tissue, rendering it useless. Then there's the fact that the area is just naturally moist, so that will also soften the healing tissue.
I clean it and administer neosporin if the wound opens. Sometimes I try to cover it with a band-aid but... ouch. Usually, I try to keep it covered with some sort of gauze, but that doesn't work out well because it moves around.
Does anyone have any advice for getting this thing to heal?
